Midday Prayer on Habakkuk 1:13

Dear Lord, You see beyond appearances and straight into the heart. We come before You aware of how easily pride hides beneath polished devotion. Too often, we build for ourselves, mistaking achievement for obedience and display for worship. Forgive us. Teach us to desire mercy over performance and faithfulness over recognition. Help us walk humbly before You, rooted in reverence and truth. Purify the foundations of our lives so that what we build can endure Your holy gaze. Thank You that even when our hearts are fractured, Your mercy still makes room for restoration. Shape us to honor You not only with our words, but with our lives. Amen.
