Strengthen me lord Jesus, don’t let me grow weary in doing your will. Sometimes it is so difficult to be kind in the face of persecution or rejection. I get angry and want to throw in the towel when all my labors seem to be in vain.

  6. Morning Prayer on 2 Chronicles 32:20-21

    Jack Graham · Jul 29, 2026

Be strong and courageous! These are the words that I choose to speak over myself today. As I continue to grow and expand in life I will praise You for being the same God that gave King Hezekiah and Joshua continual victories in their quest to take hold of the promises You laid up for them.

Bible verses about strength

  • but those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

  • I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

  • He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

  • My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

  • Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

  • Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
