Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, You are not contained by walls or held by what we build. You formed the heavens, yet You draw near to the humble and the surrendered. We confess how often we seek what looks impressive—structures, certainty, permanence—while overlooking the quiet work You desire to do within us. Forgive our pride and our need to control. Teach us to value Your presence more than monuments made in Your name. Give us hearts that are open, flexible, and ready to move with You. Dwell in us, shape us, and make us a living sanctuary where Your Spirit rests. Help us long not for what we can construct, but for what only You can create within us. Amen.
