Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, We are struck with awe and wonder that you would choose us to redeem, love, and empower. Through You, we have been given the approval of the Father— something we never would have earned on our own. Give us confidence in our identity. Make us unwavering in our resolve. We are children of God, adopted and cherished by the Creator of the universe. These truths are wonderful and humbling. Foster in us a deep understanding of our purpose and calling in light of these truths. Give us strength to carry out your will, and wisdom to discern your words from ours. At the end of it all, we are grateful. Grateful that you would send your son to die for us. Grateful that we can be called your children. Grateful that this life isn’t dull or meaningless, but filled with color and purpose.
