Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, I want to thank you for the wonderful pastors, teachers, and spiritual mentors you’ve placed in my life. Thank you, for the ones who lead me to you and opened my understanding through your word. I saw how they lived their lives and saw your light and love in them. I wanted to follow their example and learn from them. They had so much peace and joy it surprised me. Jesus, you are the same as you were yesterday, as you will be today, and forever. You do not change. If I want to have a relationship with you I’m the one who has to change and adapt to your ways of doing things. Help me change. Amen.
