Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father, you are holy and no sinful person can stand in your presence. That is why you sent your son to pay the price for my sins. He was the sacrificial lamb that carried my sins to the cross so I could be cleansed by his blood. When I come before you, I don’t stand in my righteousness. I am covered in the righteousness of Jesus. When you look at me, you see the blood of Jesus, and the price he paid to purchase me as his own. Because you love him, and he loves me, I am accepted into your presence as one of your children. I love to call you “Abba, Daddy.” Amen.
