Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, why is it so difficult to communicate effectively? It’s easy to point out the problems and get aggravated when people don’t do things the way I think they should. I watch children playing and fighting with each other and realize adults do the same things. Children don’t know how to talk or identify their needs. Help me learn how to speak the truth in love, not judgment. Help me grow into spiritual and emotional maturity so the character of Christ is shown through me. Teach me to affirm others and be a blessing to them. If I need to correct a situation help me do it with love and wisdom. Help me grow up in you, Lord. Amen.
