Lord, there are times when I fail to pray for the needs of others. Awake me Lord and help me respond to the call to pray without ceasing. Help me take the initiative in prayer and not have to be reminded by others that you are the answer to our deepest needs. There are times when I am not sure if others want me to pray for them, but when people are in difficult situations, they are most open to your intervention. Give me the courage to step out in those situations and pray for the needs of others. Keep me aware and alert to the moving of your spirit Amen.
