Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, help me not fall into spiritual deadness and passivity. Help my spirit stay alert and not descend into a spiritual lethargy that cannot hear your voice or retain the knowledge of your word. Keep me awake in the spirit, and my eyes open to your light. Your word is sealed to those who are not teachable or have a wandering mind. Teach me to pursue you with my whole heart and an open spirit. I want to know you so I can love you more. I want to trust you and press into your will and your ways for my life. Open my eyes and your word to me. Amen.
