Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, forgive me for the times when distractions lull me into complacency, and my spirit falls asleep. Sometimes I lose my passion and desire to pursue you with my whole heart. Thank you that you touch me and wake me up with your words of love. You set me upright again and align me with your plans for my life. You love me so much you don't let me drift too long. When I am facing down disappointment and weariness, you pick me up and shake off the oppression and get me going. Thank you, Jesus, for keeping an eye on me and keeping me out the enemy’s hands. Amen.
