Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, give me your sweet sleep tonight that I might awake with joy in my heart and energy to bounce into the new day with expectancy. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not here, so all I have is today. Let today be filled with wonder as I become more aware of your presence. Help me flow in harmony with your Holy Spirit and be a useful vessel for your purposes. I remember the comfort of your love in the nighttime, and that gives me the courage to step out in obedience to do your will today. Thank you for inviting me on this adventure with you and showing me great and mighty things. Amen.
