Written prayerDear Lord, You know the power our words carry—the way they can heal or harm, build or break. We confess how easily pain turns into sharp speech and how quickly old wounds resurface through what we say. Guard us when we forget to guard ourselves. Give us wisdom when pride wants control and peace when anger seeks a voice. Help us release grudges we’ve carried too long and stories we keep replaying. Teach us to leave room for grace as we pursue what is right. Let our words reflect Your mercy, and let our lives be marked not by bitterness, but by love. You are faithful, You are enough, and You are still at work. Amen.
