Written prayerDear Lord, you are the God of wisdom, the One whose ways far surpass our own. Yet we often lean on our limited understanding, trying to shape our path without your guidance. Our hearts rush toward anxiety and self-reliance, forgetting that you are our Father, not a distant taskmaster. Forgive us for the promises we make in fear and for treating your love as something to earn. Give us the strength to surrender with faith, not hesitation. Teach us to see you clearly—the God who gives generously, who provides, who loves without measure. Help us walk each step in simple trust, resting not in our own wisdom but in the steadiness of your heart. Renew in us humility and a spirit that remains steadfast. Remind us that your grace cannot be bought; it is freely given. All you ask is that we open our hearts to you. Amen.
