Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, you are the true King, and your kingdom endures forever. Yet our hearts often chase after lesser voices that promise comfort or success but cannot satisfy. We confess how easily we are drawn to what shines for a moment but holds no lasting truth. Strengthen us, Lord. Root us in your unchanging love so we remain steady when distractions pull at us. Show us the way of wisdom, and teach us to walk in the light of your kingdom instead of pursuing what quickly fades. Fill us with courage to follow where you lead, even when the cost feels high or the path unclear. Guide us by your Spirit. Renew our strength with the power that comes from knowing you, and let our lives reflect loyalty to your everlasting kingdom. Amen.
