Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, you see our hearts and know how subtly pride can creep in. You give us strength for every victory, yet we are so easily drawn toward the illusion of our own greatness. Teach us to hold our accomplishments with open hands, remembering that we are vessels of your power, not its source. Strip away every trace of pride that blinds us. Give us the courage to return every honor to you alone. Keep us from relying on ourselves, from trusting in strength that fades. Soften our hearts, Lord. Remind us that your grace—not our effort—has carried us this far. Renew within us a genuine humility, a deep awareness of our dependence on you. May we serve with pure motives, seeking your glory rather than our own. Let our surrender become our strength. And may our lives reflect your love in all we do, so that you, Lord, are magnified. Amen.
