Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, everything you do is to draw us into the truth and believe in who you are. Without faith it is impossible to please you, and without faith we are tossed around like ships in a storm. You desire us to be rooted and grounded in the unshakable truth of your word. It is your desire for us to know your goodness and fully trust in you. You only have good intentions for us. You want to restore us to the truth of who you created us to be before life and circumstances warped us with lies. Break off those lies, dear lord, and fill me with your truth that I might believe with my whole heart in the beauty of your ways. My heart's desire is to see your glory manifest all around me as well as through me. If only we would believe nothing would be impossible for us. Instead I let fear, insecurity, and doubt rob me of the glorious victories you intend for me to have. Forgive me Lord for faltering in my faith. Strengthen my unbelief that I might step into all you have for me with a trusting and believing heart. In Jesus name, amen.
