Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, I thank you that your word is a lamp that lights the way for me. It leads me through the darkness when I have difficulty knowing what to do. Thank you that your word keeps me in both the night season and the daylight. Thank you that your word speaks to my soul when I need to make decisions. Your word gives me wisdom and comforts me. It keeps me in alignment with your purposes for my life. Jesus is the word in flesh form. His life exemplifies what your word looks like in practice. Help me be more like Jesus as your word guides my life. Amen.
