Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, thank you for choosing me to be your holy and beloved child: consecrated to you and accepted into your family. You have washed me clean from the filth of my past and I am no longer a child of wrath. I am your child, with a new heart of compassion, and clothed in kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. How delighted I am to live in the light of your love. Your peace rules in my heart, and the joy of my salvation is my strength. My soul prospers when I acknowledge your word, and I am filled with your grace. I am overcome with thanksgiving, when I see the outpouring of your blessings as I walk in obedience. Amen.
