Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, the yoke of bondage and sin was too heavy for me to carry. You lifted that weight off me when I joined with you. You took my burdens and made them lighter and easier. Your yoke is a yoke of love and compassion that assists me in all I have to deal with. I am no longer weighed down with guilt and shame, but lifted with joy and renewed strength. Your yoke is easy because you carry it. It is light because there is no more weight of sin. How delightful it is to be yoked with the creator of the universe. Nothing is impossible for you and I can learn of you as we go through life together. Amen.
