Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, you know how quickly anger rises in us, especially when we feel wronged. Teach us to seek justice without vengeance and to release resentment before it takes root. We admit how easily we want to repay hurt with hurt, yet you call us to a better way. Help us trust your justice, which is wiser and kinder than our own. Free us from grudges and bitterness. Give us the strength to respond with peace, even when the world pushes us toward revenge. Shape our hearts by your Spirit so our actions reflect your grace. May we overcome evil with mercy, forgiveness, and goodness. May our lives reflect the love we see in Jesus, the love that brings true peace. Amen.
