Today’s prayer
Written prayerThank you for the seventh year where even the vineyard and fields rest from producing. This law teaches me that I can be dependent on your Providence. As I yield to your requirements, I trust in your faithfulness to send a more substantial increase in the future. The poor can eat without fear of punishment, and the animals can also freely graze the land. You reveal your mercy and generosity as well as your faithfulness through theses generous act of kindness. You are my provision and provider. You are the faithful one who restores the land, cares for the poor and the animals. You are the Lord of the harvest in all areas of my life. Amen.
