Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, Thank you for this beautiful day of rest. It is a time to honor you, fellowship with believers, rest, and enjoy my family. Thank you for teaching me how to refuel in a way that edifies my Spirit and refreshes me for the week ahead. Rest is essential to you. It motivates me to cease from my striving and rest in your ability to provide for my needs. You teach me to trust in your provision rather than my efforts. Lord forgive me for being stubborn at times and continuing to strive to do things my way. I command my soul to rest and be at peace, in Jesus name. Amen.
