Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, I am in this world but not of this world. I am only passing through on my way to my heavenly home with you. While I am here, I am to be a light to those living in darkness, and salt to preserve life. Help me realize my real purpose here on earth is to reveal your truth to those blinded from the light of your love. Help me know that my ultimate rest will be in heaven, and I look to my heavenly rewards. As I focus on you and the great glory I have to look forward to for all eternity, it is easy to give you honor and glory. Amen.
