Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, I bless your holy name, great is your faithful, and your mercies will never end. You give your angels charge over me so when I lie down I will not be afraid, and I will have a sweet sleep. What a joy it is to know that your canopy over me is love and you hid me underneath your wings. You are there, surrounding me with your protection — what a mighty God of comfort you are. You settle your peace over me, and my sleep is undisturbed by troubled thoughts or fearful concerns. You are my love and blessed savior. I am forever grateful for your love and protection. Amen.
