Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord Jesus, It is only through repentance that my heart and will are changed. Baptism is the symbol identification with the death and resurrection of Christ that washes my old nature away and releases the resurrection power of Christ into my life. My old nature is reckoned dead and my new life begins. Your Holy Spirit seals this blessing on my heart and fills me with a clean spirit. I received the gift of your Holy Spirit, and rejoice in my newness of life. Baptism is an act of obedience that empowers me to serve you since the chains of the flesh are washed away. Amen.
