Today’s prayer
Written prayerIt is certainly a good thing to give thanks to the God who gave me newness of life. It is only fitting to pay tribute to the God of all creation. I bow before you in humble adoration with a heart full of thanksgiving. I don’t know where I would be without your mercy. I would be lost in my sin. I would be in bondage to the shame and quilt that goes with living outside your will. Thank you for opening my eyes to the truth of your love and the error of my ways. I will sing your praises with a grateful heart. You are the supreme governor of the world. You rule and reign above all others and have bent down to call me your own. Your heart hears the cries of my needs. You're touched with compassion and desire to comfort and heal, and provide for my every need. How can I not be thankful for your presence in my life. Thank you for teaching me the wisdom of your ways and restoring my innocence. Where my life has been neglected and damaged you bring healing and renewed trust. You are the trustworthy one who I put all my faith in. I believe in your word, your promises, your love and your truth. I greatly admire you Lord, thank you for loving me.
