Today’s prayer
Written prayerI will enter your courts with praise and come before you, my heavenly father, with thanksgiving in my heart. I will sing for joy to the God of my salvation, and may it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ears. Every breath I take is because of your grace in my life, every day I wake up and open my eyes is because of your goodness, and every blessing you fill my life with causes songs of joy to be released. Even when circumstances change and trouble starts pressing in and circumstances around me seek to overwhelm me I will still praise you. I will praise you with my sacrifice of praise because you inhabit the praises of your people. As I praise you in the midst of the hard times you lift me up and bring me comfort. You are worthy of my praise because this life is not my home. I am only passing through on my way to my eternal home with you in heaven. When I realize that hope of glory my heart is filled with song and I want to shout your praises. Everything else fades away as I realize this world is passing away but your word lasts forever. I will make a joyful noise as I dance before your throne knowing I will one day see you. What a glorious day that will be, In Jesus name, amen.
