Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father, you are beautiful and the power of your love is irresistible. You desire to be merciful and forgiving to all of those who acknowledge the error of their ways and ask for your help. Your mercy is my strong tower and your faithfulness is my place of shelter in times of trouble. There is nothing that can separate me from your love. Even when it is difficult for me to love myself your mercy covers me with your grace. When I look upon the ruins of my life I grieve over the wasted years and selfish choices I’ve made. But it is your divine promises and your mercy that I know will restore and build up what has been lost or damaged. Thank you for the hope your word gives me through your promises. I know you want to lay a new foundation of truth in my life and rebuild my life from the ground up. You want to strengthen me through the power of your word and set me on a firm foundation that will stand forever. I’ll no longer be stuck in the sinking sand of sin but established on the rock of my salvation. Your faithfulness to your promisee will be established here on earth as it is in heaven. I love you lord, for your unceasing compassion and loving kindness. In Jesus name, amen.
