Today’s prayer
Written prayerYou are indeed a great God my Lord, and king. You are my lord, and savior. You are my one and only true love – the lover of my soul. You are ruler of all creation, and are exalted above all else, and far above all the false gods that others worship. You are supreme over all things; If the sun, the moon, or the stars were worshipped – if the mountains or rivers - or angels good or bad – you oh, Lord, are above them all. How foolish to worship what you created rather than the creator himself. Forgive me Lord, for placing anything or anyone above you in my affections, thoughts, or desires. You deserve the throne of my heart and all my adoration and respect. You are the king of kings and the one true living God above all else. There is no one like you and no one has the ability to love me the way you do. No one will ever know me the way you do and still accept me. Your love for me is unconditional and you will never abandon me. You will be with me when no one else is. Thank you my precious Lord for you tender compassion and mercy. Thank you for giving me new life and redeeming me from my foolishness. I love you. In Jesus name, amen.
