Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, It is such a high price to pay to be your follower and consult a false god for healing or for fulfilling various needs. False gods have mouths that cannot speak, ears that cannot hear, and eyes that cannot see. Oh Lord, how could any of your followers be so deceived as to follow and call on a false god? As for me, I want to praise you, call on you, trust in you, look to you in all matters of my life. I trust, Lord, that your ways are not my ways. You see far deeper, far higher into circumstances that I am capable of. There are times, Lord, that you permit things to take place, permit people to rise into leadership, that do not fit into your character or desire for us. When I come to you baffled by your ways, baffled by what you permit, I can only bow and submit my thoughts, my heart, my actions to cooperate with you and attempt to do your will in everything in my life. Please unfold to me your reasons for the unusual things that you do, my Lord! I call for understanding so I may be more and more obedient to you. But, Lord, even when you do not reveal certain reasons and truths in a situation, Strengthen me to submit my heart, and strengthen my faith to always trust your goodness. I love You Lord, my Lord!
