Today’s prayer

Written prayer

Dear Lord, I can’t imagine what courage a prophet must have to stand against those who intend disobedience toward you. They are so strong, so commandeering, so forthright, so convincing in their evil intentions and speech. Please give me obedient strength in you so I may stand against false prophets, and false messengers stating they are from You, Lord. I ask for your discernment in knowing who is a real messenger from you and who is false. I fear when they are so forceful in their talk, Lord, and when I want to obey you they frighten me away from standing firm against them. Lord, show me why I fear false teachers, preachers, and prophets more than you! I want to be wholly submitted to You Lord, to worship and praise you with all of my being. I love You Lord in all areas but become weak when faced with these challenges. I need you, most gracious Lord, every hour I need you to help me stay strong in you! Your presence makes temptations lose their power. My life seems to be in vain without your abiding presence, my Lord! I need you every hour in joy or in pain. You give my life meaning Lord! I want to walk closely to you so those false prophets or ministers will never deceive me. Thank You, Lord, my precious Lord, how could I live without you? In Jesus name, amen.
