Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, You see beyond every performance and pretense. You know when our hearts seek faithfulness and when ambition disguises itself as calling. We confess how easily pride slips into our motives. Teach us to choose humility—to sit low and wait for Your invitation. Help us trust that being called by You is better than being praised by others. Shape us into people who desire obedience over attention and faithfulness over position. When power tempts us, steady our hearts and remind us that following You is greater than any throne we could claim. Keep us grounded, patient, and attentive to Your voice. Amen.
