Dear Lord, You are our King, not because we deserve Your rule, but because You are merciful and faithful. We confess how easily fear unsettles us when the world grows loud and uncertain. Our confidence thins, and we brace ourselves as if we were alone. Yet You have not abandoned us. You confound the proud, humble the powerful, and restore strength with a single word. Teach us to wait with trust, not dread—to kneel with confidence, not fear. When silence stretches, remind us You are still at work. And when You rise to act, give us courage to rise with You, anchored in hope and faith. Amen.
