Defining Biblical Masculinity 0:09 Well, we welcome you to chapter 25 of the book Reversed from Culturally Woke to Biblically Awake. Thank you for being with us. Chapter 25, an interesting topic. The feminization0:22 of men. What on earth is going on in our society today? Look around you. You see the evidence. I don't need to describe it to you. It's pathetic. I take you0:34 to, page 200 in the book if you happen to have it, right in the middle of it. Being masculine is not wrong for a man. For clarification, what we are advocating0:45 is not toxic, as today's favorite buzzword. Being masculine is not to be some renowned sex machine, or aggressively rude to others, or always wanting to be the alpha male in the0:57 room. Biblical masculinity is not abusive, but it is lived out in a way that reflects a humble confidence, a sincere love for others, and1:09 a self discipline that comes from wisdom. Now that's what we're talking about with real manhood. But what has happened in our culture today is staggering.1:21 You hear about hip hop megastars or sometimes even, it seems, to athletes wearing dresses and finger1:33 manicured fingernails and and all of that. These are not merely feminine men. These are men who are following a trend of cultural male1:44 femininity. What is that and why on earth is that going on? We have seen the the the tragedy of fatherless homes. We talked about that in our last session on on1:56 the videotape. And what we're witnessing right now, the loss of manly men, or as what c s Lewis said, men without chest, is not some normal progression of humanity.2:09 We're we're witnessing a basic deconstruction of the perfect design that God had for humanity of both men and woman. Now why is that important? What's going2:21 on in our culture today? Well, part of the goal is to depopulate the planet. That is the concern of people like Bill Gates and others, for example. What's the population2:33 of our Earth today? 8000000000. What do they think the Earth can handle? They think the Earth can handle, maybe 1 halfCultural Deconstruction and Depopulation Agenda 2:45 billion, Or some say maybe it can handle more than that. The the point is they want to get the Earth's population way down considerably below what it is today.2:57 And I know this was gonna sound conspiratorial with some, but this feminization of men is in part the depopulation strategy of those who want3:09 to destroy humanity on the earth. Why is there a satanic goal to destroy humans on the earth? Why would that be? Humans are the 1 entity that worship the Lord. We were3:21 made for fellowship with our God. We were wired to worship Him. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. And he certainly wants to keep steal, kill, and destroy any entity3:33 that could end up worshiping our Lord. That's the spiritual underpinnings of it. The result is that Marxism and other related, kind of philosophies want to eliminate gender3:45 traditions. They wanna obliterate sexual mores. And, remember, they wanna destroy all kinds of boundaries of sexuality and push the boundaries of sexuality. So the goal is3:57 elimination of all lines between the sexes. In contrast to that, the scriptures talk about what manhood is really like and portray figure after4:09 figure. Even though flawed, many of them flawed, nonetheless, they portray what manhood is to be like and what God ordained for males in this culture.4:21 The 3rd man who most influenced my life the man who most influenced my life was my father. The 2nd man who most influenced my life was a man named Derek Johnson. But the 3rd greatest male influence in my life was a4:33 man named Edwin Lewis Cole. Edwin Lewis Cole is known for for a lot of quotes. His phrases, his quoting quotes are are really phenomenal. But the 1 he's most known forBiblical Manhood and Personal Influences 4:45 is this phrase, manhood and Christ likeness are synonymous. God is calling for men to raise up who walk in respect and4:57 honor of God himself, who represent Christ likeness, who walk in humility, who walk protecting others, and fulfill the dream that God5:09 ordained for males on this planet, which the enemy, Satan himself, wants to destroy. Men, let's be men. We're moving from culturally5:20 woke to biblically awake.5:25 Let us pray to our heavenly father. God, we come to you today lifting up those who are fatherless. We bind and rebuke the spirit of abandonmentPrayer for the Fatherless 5:37 and rejection that has come into the lives who for those who have lost their father. We acknowledge that while earthly fathers may have been absent or may have hurt5:48 us, you are always present and ready to be our father. Heal our wounds, both emotional and spiritual, that have been inflicted by absence or failings of our6:00 fathers. We thank you for the promise that you are a father to the fatherless. You bring hope and reassurance. Help us who are fatherless to see your6:12 faithfulness in our lives and to know that you are with us in our pain. We pray that you would protect us and lead us to find strength in you. In Jesus' name,6:24 amen.6:26 We hope you enjoyed the video. Thank you so much for watching. Hey.
