  1. 4093792 From Tears to TriumphPsalm 126 captures a truth that reshapes how we view our darkest moments. "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy" (Psalm 126:5, KJV) isn't just a comforting phrase—it's a radical promise that turns pain into purpose and grief into growth, from tears to triumph. Imagine a farmer during a famine. Each seed he scatters is a gamble—a precious resource he could have kept for immediate survival. Yet, in that act of trust, he sows for a future harvest. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com This image shows us the heart of faith in our hard seasons: we give when it hurts, we hope when it's hard, and we believe when the future looks bleak.  God acknowledges this kind of faith, and Psalm 126 goes further: "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him" (Psalm 126:6, KJV). The phrase "shall doubtless come again" stresses the certainty of God's promise—not maybe, but definitely. Our tears aren't meaningless. Scripture reminds us that God "keeps careful record of our tears" (Psalm 56:8). Every tear that slips silently down your cheek waters the soil for a future joy. Every prayer whispered through pain, every act of obedience despite heartbreak, and every courageous step forward in the midst of sorrow counts as the sacred sowing of life to come. This faith is active. It moves despite feelings; it persists beyond circumstances. The K.I.S.S. ~ From tears to triumph! The psalmist gives us hope beyond the pain: morning will break. The long night of lament will yield to a dawn bursting with "sheaves"—abundant blessings harvested from seasons of hardship. It echoes the promise in Galatians 6:9, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." The harvest is coming. Your hardship is not your home. Your weeping is preparing the ground for your rejoicing. So hold on to this promise. When sorrow feels endless and tears fall often, remember you are sowing in faith. What you plant now, watered by your endurance and trust, God will bring back to you "with rejoicing." The waiting is hard, but it is never wasted. Morning is coming—and with it, a harvest full of hope. From tears to triumph: A faith that sows in a season of sorrow! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 2. 4103791 The Beauty in Front of YouIn marriage, it's all too common to get stuck fixating on faults—the little annoyances, quirks, and hangups that, over time, seem to crowd out the love you once felt. When your eyes are locked on imperfections, your heart has no room left to breathe, let alone deepen in love. So why not see the beauty in front of you? Because you can't see the beauty. The very quirks you see as flaws are where your heart actually settles down. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com At some point, every partnership faces a crossroads. You can choose to keep scanning for what's missing—or you can decide there's more to your marriage than your current perspective allows. This is not about ignoring real problems, but about shifting your mindset from scarcity and critique to openness and appreciation. Remember: what you look for, you will find. So, why not look for the beauty that's right in front of you? Choosing to see the beauty in your spouse is not a passive feeling but an intentional act. It begins with you, but it takes both of you to carry it forward. "One to start, two to finish!" ~ Kristianne Wargo This simple yet powerful decision can unlock new depths in your love, transforming what "is" into what it "can be." The K.I.S.S. ~ Transform what is into what can be! Look at where you are now. How would you deem your marriage to be when it comes to a "love scale?" If you don't acknowledge what is happening, there is no chance to make a change. Here's how a spouse can start this shift immediately: Focus on qualities, not quirks. Every person has traits that drew you in—they're still there. Make a habit of naming those things, silently or out loud. Praise loyalty, humor, kindness, or whatever makes your spouse uniquely them. This rewires your brain away from the habit of criticism. Practice curiosity instead of judgment. When a quirk or habit feels annoying, pause and ask, "What's behind this?" That mundane habit might be a leftover from stress or a way your spouse feels safe. Understanding is love's antidote to frustration. Create daily moments of gratitude. This can look like a quick text, a thank-you for a simple act, or a genuine compliment during dinner. The small habit of regularly expressing appreciation becomes the watering can for love to grow. See your spouse's growth, not just their stasis. People change, but love often freezes us in old narratives. Update your story. Look for evidence of growth and effort—even small steps. Remember the unspoken bond. Your spouse carries burdens, dreams, fears, and intentions beneath the surfaces you see. When you choose to believe in their goodness, you build a foundation where love can deepen beyond words. This isn't about ignoring the messy realities of marriage. It's about flipping the lens from problem spotting to heart seeing. The beauty in front of you is waiting. The only question is: will you choose to see it? Love grows where eyes rest with intention—and when you start seeing the beauty, you make space for the heart to stay. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3. 4113790 Guiding Children Through ChangeLife hits hard sometimes, and transitions can shake up the whole family dynamic. For parents, guiding children through change—no matter their age—can feel like walking a tightrope between support and independence. With school back in session and countless new paths ahead, the question is: How do you back your kids without holding their hand so tight that they can't find their own footing? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Here's the blunt truth: Your job isn't to shield them from everything but to get them ready to face the world head-on. The goal is simple—raise kids who don't just survive change but use it to carve out their own impact. So, how do you make transitions less like a storm and more like a steady wind propelling them forward? The K.I.S.S. ~ Be a steady wind! Focus on these three no-nonsense moves: Set Clear Expectations and Boundaries Kids crave structure even when they act like they don't. Clear, consistent expectations during transitions keep them anchored. Spell out what's non-negotiable—like respect, responsibility, and honesty—and where they get to make choices. Boundaries don't stunt growth; they build a safety net so your kids can swing higher without crashing hard. Model Resilience, Not Perfection Let's get real—life won't hand your kids a perfect script. Show them how you handle your own setbacks and frustrations. Talk through your challenges out loud. When they see that you fall but get back up, they learn to do the same. You're equipping them with a mindset not to freeze when the road bends but to steer through it. Encourage Decision-Making with Guided Freedom You want them to be capable adults, so start practicing now. Give your kids chances to make real decisions appropriate to their age—even if it means letting them mess up. Be there to guide the fallout without swooping in to fix everything. This balance builds confidence and sharpens their judgment so when you're not around, they do what's right because they've learned how. Parents don't need to be the hero of every transition moment. Instead, be the steady hand and the sounding board while giving space for growth. Lift them up with motivation—not control—and you'll turn these in-between times from potential breakdowns into breakthrough moments with lessons that last a lifetime. At the end of the day, parenting through change isn't about preventing bumps in the road—it's about raising kids who know how to keep driving when the road gets rough. That's the kind of resilient, grounded, impactful human you want stepping out into the world. "Be present. Be incredible. 4. 4123789 Set Your Sights HigherToo often we get stuck in the comfortable — the familiar routines, the "normal" limits we've accepted without question. The ceiling you set for yourself isn't some fixed barrier. It's a self-imposed limit with the power to shape your entire future. When you focus on what you can't do, you're handing over control to fear and doubt. Instead, set your sights higher. Think about it: what are you here to do? What's the difference only you can make? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Life is too short to settle for "good enough" or to shelve your dreams because the risks seem too big. The temptation to live in denial — to cling to the "safe" version of life where the differences don't add up — is strong, but it makes no sense. How can embracing what holds you back be the path forward? The K.I.S.S. ~ Set your sights higher! Here's the challenge: break the cycle. "Make a change in your own life today by aiming beyond yesterday's limits." ~ Kristianne Wargo You're made for more — more impact, more freedom, more fulfillment. But none of that will happen if you don't trust yourself enough to take the chance. Yes, it's scary. Yes, it means leaving comfort behind. But every step you take toward what you're created to do compounds into momentum that propels you forward. So stop doubting, stop hesitating. Set your sights higher, and lean hard into what matters. The choice is yours: stay stuck with the limits you've accepted — or bet on yourself and reach for what's waiting just beyond the ceiling. Which will it be? "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 5. 4133788 Don't Count Yourself OutHealthy living is no walk in the park. It's not about a quick fix or a short burst of effort—it's a daily grind fueled by commitment and stubborn determination. Health is a marathon, not a sprint. So no matter where you find yourself on this long track, don't count yourself out. Millions try to do right by their bodies. They start workouts, change diets, and invest energy. But what's supposed to be a new beginning often feels overwhelming. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The hard work piles up, motivation dips, and many throw in the towel long before they get anywhere near their goals. And let's face it—when the hard road stretches endlessly, the temptation to take shortcuts screams louder than ever. Pills, injections, "miracle" cures promising instant results are easy to chase. But these quick fixes don't erase the fundamental requirement: sustained dedication. Without that, the quick routes lead nowhere. But here's the truth: you don't have to fall into the cycle of starting and stopping. There is a way to keep your focus and fight through failures that feel like walls. The K.I.S.S. ~ Break the walls down! Here are three things anyone can do to stay on course long-term and see real progress: Break It Down To Daily Wins Healthy living isn't a single masterstroke—it's one decision after another. Focus on what you can control today. Maybe it's choosing water over soda, adding a 10-minute walk, or getting to bed earlier. Tiny wins add up. When you master the small stuff consistently, the big goals stop feeling unreachable. Anchor Your Why Why do you want to live healthier? For your energy? Your family? Your confidence? Make this your anchor in tough moments. Write it down, remind yourself daily, and connect your actions back to this core reason. When the going gets tough, your "why" keeps you moving forward. Plan For Setbacks, Not Perfection Failing is part of the process. You'll miss workouts, crave junk food, or feel discouraged. That's inevitable. The key is not to let one slip become an exit ramp. Build your plan, recognizing setbacks will happen. Prepare your next move right after a slip and get back on track without losing momentum. Healthy living isn't what most people think it is. It's not a one-time hero moment or a magic formula. It's the sum of countless tough, sometimes boring choices made day in and day out. It's about showing up even when you don't feel like it. If you've been hopping on and off the health train, here's your message: Don't count yourself out. The race isn't over until you say it is. You're still running, still capable, and the finish line is waiting. The next healthy decision is within reach. Make it count. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 7. 4153786 Stop Defending Your Comfort ZoneSome of your own patterns are quietly working against you. They're tangled up in your daily routine, entrenched so deeply that you don't even notice when they sabotage your progress. If your life's been so busy you forget what happened ten minutes ago, that's exactly why these patterns slip under your radar. Stop defending your comfort zone. Here's the cold truth—your brain defends these patterns like a dog guarding its favorite toy. Good or bad, familiar feels safe. Nobody wants to give up comfort, even when it's the very thing holding them back from chasing real goals. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com If you're serious about chasing your dreams and hitting goals that actually stick, the first move is brutal honesty. You must be willing to look straight at what's not working—and that's where most people freeze. It takes a humble heart to admit, "Yeah, I'm part of the problem," and a curious mind to ask, "What's really going on here?" That combo? It's tough but absolutely necessary. Think about what you do now.  Do you really try to see why you are not making progress toward what you want? Or are you hanging out taking the easy road so you don't have to work so hard? I think about those people who complain about their job but aren't willing to apply elsewhere. Same goes for this here— You can't change what you're unwilling to confront. If you are ready to make a dent in your dreams, it's time to untangle those sneaky patterns. The K.I.S.S. ~ Untangle the sneaky patterns! So, here's how you start untangling those sneaky patterns and kickstart real change: Hit Pause and Observe Without Judgment Stop blaming or excusing yourself. Next time you fall into a familiar trap—procrastination, overcommitting, self-doubt—catch it. Write down what triggered it and how you reacted. This is your raw data. Don't sugarcoat or defend. Just observe what happened. Patterns hate the light. Shine on them. Ask the Hard Questions Get curious about why you do what you do. What need does this pattern serve? Is it fear? Avoidance? Comfort? Why does that comfy recliner feel better than the grind of change? Knowing the "why" behind your actions gives you the power to start shifting. Swap Out Small Behaviors to Make the Pattern Visible Big changes shake the system, but small tweaks expose the cracks. Change your morning routine, shift how you respond to stress, or commit to one new habit that challenges the old one. This isn't about perfection; it's about creating opportunities to see your patterns in action—and to prove to yourself that change is possible. Make no mistake—going after what you want is hard work. It demands consistency, grit, and an unflinching willingness to face uncomfortable truths. But here's the deal: every step forward is a victory over the silent patterns holding you hostage. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo You've got this. Now it's time to stop defending your comfort zone and start challenging it. Your dreams aren't going to chase themselves. Yet, you get to chase your dreams! "Be present. Be incredible. 8. 4163785 God Is In This StoryHave you ever had a song stuck in your head, repeating itself over and over, for reasons you can't quite explain? This week, the chorus of "God Is In This Story," by Big Daddy Weave and Katy Nicole, has been echoing in my mind. The words grab hold: "God is in this story, God is in the details; Even in the broken parts, He holds my heart, He never fails." It continues: "When I'm at my weakest, I will trust in Jesus; Always in the highs and lows, The One who goes before me, God is in this story." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Pause for a moment. How often do you think about where God shows up in your life? Maybe you've witnessed Him in the big moments—the answered prayers, the seemingly impossible breakthroughs. Or maybe, like many of us, you haven't thought much about it at all. Perhaps the thought hasn't even crossed your mind. Here's the truth: God desires more than just moments of crisis or church attendance. He longs to be part of your everyday. Yet somehow, we put Him on a shelf—conveniently only pulling Him down during earth-shattering crises or sacred routines. The K.I.S.S. ~ God is in this story! But what if God was woven into every moment of your life? What if you invited Him to have a front row seat alongside you through the mundane, the joyful, the painful, and the triumphs? The story wouldn't change—the challenges wouldn't disappear—but your experience would. You would have the peace that passes all understanding because of His presence. As the apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." God is in every detail, every broken moment, every mountain and valley. He never fails. You get to decide how much of Him you want in your story. His door is always wide open. The question is: how open is your heart? Let Him in. This story is yours and His together. 9. 4173784 Do Unto Your SpouseYou remember The Golden Rule—"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"— it is a timeless guide for human interaction. But what would happen if you truly applied this rule to your marriage? Do unto your spouse as you would have them do unto you. Most couples don't use the Golden Rule. Instead, they get trapped in a cycle of criticism, carefully cataloging each other's flaws, convinced the other needs to change first. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's a love deficit that grows until both partners feel unappreciated and disconnected. And don't assume age brings change—decades often only deepen old patterns because comfort with fault-finding feels safer than risking vulnerability. So, let me ask you straight: What are you doing for your spouse lately? Are you focusing on where they fall short, or are you tuned into what they do right? If you're honest, the answer probably clings to the negatives more than the positives. It's time for a shift. You have to get on the Golden Rule Train—and make it the Golden Rule your marriage lives and breathes. The K.I.S.S. ~ Get on the G.O.L.D.E.N. Rule Train! Let's make the idea tangible with a simple acronym you can act on right now: G.O.L.D.E.N. Rule Train for Marriage G – Gratitude: Catch your spouse doing something right—even the small stuff—and say it out loud. Gratitude rewires your brain to look for good, not gaps. O – Open-hearted Listening: Put your defenses down. Listen not to respond, but to understand where your spouse is coming from without judgment. L – Loyalty: Choose to have your spouse's back versus tearing them down in private or public. Loyalty builds safety and trust. D – Daily Acts of Kindness: Small gestures—making coffee, sending a thoughtful text, or simply sharing a smile—pile up into a mountain of care. E – Empathy: Step into their shoes and feel what they feel. Even if you disagree, acknowledge their experience as valid. N – Nurture Your Bond: Invest time and energy intentionally in your relationship. Love is a verb, demanding action every single day. Putting the G.O.L.D.E.N. Rule of Marriage into practice shifts your focus from "what can I win from this relationship?" to "how can I serve the person I chose?" Marriage isn't a scoreboard; it's a shared project requiring sacrifice, patience, and consistent effort. It's a beautiful gift that opens the door to a deeper kind of love—one that doesn't wait for perfection but chooses connection in spite of flaws. So, decide today: Will you join the few who dare to love differently by doing unto your spouse with the care, respect, and kindness you wish to receive? Your marriage depends on it. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 10. 4183783 Why Are We Overloading Our Kids' Schedules? As parents, there's nothing we want more than to see our children succeed. We want to watch them score the goals, earn the trophies, and collect the accolades that show they're thriving. But somewhere along the way, many of us have crossed a line from supporting their growth to overloading their lives. Why are we overloading our kids' schedules? Kids today often have calendars so packed that downtime and rest become foreign concepts. Why do we do this? And is it helping—or hurting? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The Pressure Cooker of Childhood The reasons behind these jam-packed schedules are complex. Sometimes it's about giving kids opportunities their parents never had. Sometimes it's peer pressure or the fear of missing out. Other times, it's a parent's own unfulfilled ambitions or the desire to check every box on the "successful child" list. But regardless of the motivation, the result is the same: children running from one activity to the next, with little room left to just be kids. Family dinners can become rushed affairs, weekends look like mini-workweeks, and the simple joys of unstructured play and imagination are crushed under the weight of schedules. At What Point Is This for Them—Not You? It's easy to mistake our desires for their needs. When do we stop introducing new activities—and start pushing? When does "helping them get ahead" turn into over-scheduling for adult satisfaction? These questions are hard, but crucial. That's why it's important to unschedule without sacrificing excellence. The K.I.S.S. ~ Unschedule without sacrificing excellence! Kids aren't better off juggling ten activities if they're miserable, exhausted, or anxious. Success isn't about quantity; it's about quality. It's about nurturing their unique talents and passions, at their own pace, with space to breathe and grow. How to Unschedule Without Sacrificing Excellence Finding harmony means intentionally choosing what to keep and what to cut. Here are three practical ways parents can help manage—and sometimes push back against—the frantic rush: Prioritize Depth Over Breadth Choose one or two activities where your child can truly develop focus and skill, rather than spreading them thin across everything. Mastery and confidence come from commitment, not chaotic juggling. Build in Buffer Zones for Rest and Play Schedule blank spots on the calendar purposely. These are non-negotiable downtime moments where kids can relax, explore hobbies, or just recharge. Remember, rest fuels growth and creativity. Check in and Listen Often Make your child a daily partner in planning. Ask how they feel about their schedule and what they really enjoy. Their input helps guard against adult-driven overload and fosters their independence. We parents hold the reins in shaping childhood—not just to create achievers, but to raise humans who know balance, joy, and how to live fully. When we choose harmony over hustle, we give our kids a gift far greater than trophies: a childhood worth remembering. Let's make sure your child's schedule isn't a trap, but a roadmap to thriving. You got this! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 11. 4193782 Appreciate Your Day!Life doesn't owe you a perfect day. Messes happen. Plans derail. People disappoint. Your to-do list feels like a mountain you'll never climb. But here's the thing: a rocky day doesn't have to stunt your spirit. You get one life, one day at a time. Appreciate your day! Choosing to see the good amidst the chaos isn't some soft motivational fluff—it's a game-changing strategy for showing up stronger, calmer, and more in control of your own mindset. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's way too easy to dwell on what went wrong. A spilled coffee A missed deadline A conversation that left you frustrated These moments pull your focus like a magnet toward negativity. But if you're living in that space, stuck replaying the worst parts, you're draining your energy and locking out every bit of peace and possibility the day holds. Here's what most people miss: gratitude is a muscle. It doesn't just appear magically—it's a choice and a practice. You decide to look up and find a single thing worth appreciating—even if it's tiny. The warm sunlight through your window A kind word from a stranger The fact that you woke up to breathe another day Because once you start appreciating, stress loosens its grip. Your mind clears, allowing bigger, better thoughts to come in. Your heart feels lighter and capable of holding more than just complaints. The K.I.S.S. ~ Appreciate your day! Appreciating your day isn't about pretending everything's perfect. It's about refusing to let the imperfect moments define the whole. When you find that sliver of beauty amid the mess, you reclaim your power. You remind yourself: I'm not a victim of my circumstances—I'm the boss of how I respond to them. So today, no matter what's on your plate or what went sideways, make the decision to appreciate something. It could be your resilience for making it through, the laugh you shared, or simply the breath in your lungs. This lens shift won't erase your problems, but it'll change your journey through them—from dragging you down to lifting you up. Before you let your day end, find what's worth appreciating. Say it out loud or write it down. Build that muscle so the chaos doesn't control you—you do. Remember, gratitude isn't just a nice idea. It's a power move. Appreciate your day! "Be present. 12. 4203781 You Don't Have to QuitJuggling life's chaos while prioritizing healthy living feels like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands. The demands shift, the unexpected arrives, and just when you think you've got a grip, everything changes again. But you don't have to quit. Sound familiar? Here's the truth: you don't need a perfect system or ideal season to care for your body—you need a commitment to yourself. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com There is no reason you have to put off what gives you life, like your body. You deserve the best body possible, but it takes commitment to YOU!  No matter the noise, the deadlines, or the curveballs, making genuine health a priority is a non-negotiable if you want to thrive—not just survive. It's not about a system or the season; it's about you deciding what you need for your body and taking the next step that fits into your unique, messy life. The K.I.S.S. ~ Don't quit! You can do what you need to do for your body if you keep your health top of mind, even when life happens. Here are three concrete moves to stay steady and in control: Shift Your Mindset: From Excuse to Ownership There's no "perfect" time, place, or circumstance to start. Waiting for them is a trap. When life throws chaos your way, the key is to stop folding and start owning. Say YES to yourself, regardless of the season. Own what you need and what's possible today—even if it's five minutes of movement or one better meal choice. Excuses are the enemy of progress; ownership builds momentum. Own who you want to become!! Simplify Your Next Step You don't need to overhaul your life overnight. What's the one next small action that says, "I'm choosing me today?" It might be drinking an extra glass of water, setting a reminder to stretch, or packing a fruit instead of a candy bar. Small steps beat hesitation every time—because they stack up. Create tiny habits that scale with your life, not fight against it. Anchor Priorities Visibly Keep your health in plain sight. Write down why your body matters. Pin a sticky note on your fridge, set a daily alert, or speak your intention in the mirror. When life distracts or drags you down, these anchors pull your focus back to what truly matters—your well-being and your right to show up fully in your own life. No more seasons of excuses. No more waiting for the "perfect" moment that never comes. Your body—your life—deserves your YES today. You don't have to quit! Commit to yourself. Take the next step, no matter how small. Because every step forward beats standing still—and that's how you hold it all together and keep what's most important at the center of your life. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 14. 4223779 You Don't Have to Figure It All OutSometimes we come at life or our dreams ready for immediate results of growth and success, only to find ourselves drowning in the failures and missteps. Regardless of the outcome, you don't have to figure it all out. Yet so many of us approach our goals and dreams like a sprint, expecting immediate wins, only to end up overwhelmed by the mess of failures and detours. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com That pressure to know every next move before taking the first can crush momentum before it even starts. But what if instead of choking on the big picture, you focused on the step right in front of you? What if your entire journey was built one small, deliberate action at a time? Imagine how different it would feel to celebrate each tiny win—the task completed, the boundary set, the awkward but necessary conversation had—instead of fearing the miles ahead. Life isn't about having all the answers; it's about making forward progress, even if it's uneven or uncertain. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." — Kristianne Wargo The magic lies in showing up for the now, not the "someday." The K.I.S.S. ~ Create your now! So how do you stop the exhausting trap of trying to do everything, be everywhere, and know it all? How do you accept the next right step and give yourself permission to pause, recalibrate, and keep it simple? Narrow your focus ruthlessly. What's one action you can take today that aligns with your goal? Ignore the rest. Set mini goals, not life goals. Big visions are necessary, but breaking them down into smaller efforts keeps overwhelm at bay. Give yourself grace for mistakes and dead ends. These aren't failures but essential clues that refine your path. Measure progress by effort, not outcome. Some days, showing up is the victory. Keep a journal or log to track your small wins. When you feel lost, these reminders fuel motivation. Say "no" to the shiny distractions and "yes" to the simple steps that make a tangible difference right now. The temptation to figure it all out is really a fear of uncertainty disguised as control. But real control comes from movement, not perfection. You don't have to nail the whole strategy before you act. You just need the courage to take the step that's there. So drop the illusion of instant clarity and all-encompassing knowledge. Embrace "not knowing" as part of the process. One more step, then another. Keep going, because that's how miles of greatness get made—one humble, imperfect step at a time. "Be present. Be incredible. 15. 4233778 Sing for JoyPsalm 90:14 says, "Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days." It's more than challenging to go through our days when everything around us feels like it's crumbling beneath our feet. Think about it: Who would drive over a bridge if they knew it would slowly crumble as they drove? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Our lives can feel just like that. Uncertainty, loss, and hardship cause our footing to shift, shaking our confidence and peace. The tension grows, the weight builds heavy, and every step forward feels like a risk. Yet even when the wrestle is real, God's unfailing love is present—steady, unshakable, and constant. That's not a vague promise or some abstract hope. It's the solid foundation beneath the crumbling bridge, the source of strength when all else fades. The K.I.S.S. ~ Sing for joy! There's a reason Psalm 90 calls us to be satisfied with this love each morning: it's fuel for the fight, nourishment for the soul. When we start the day resting in this love, we aren't just surviving the storms—we're singing for joy and being glad, no matter what tries to steal our peace. Singing for joy isn't about ignoring reality. It's about declaring that our hope is anchored elsewhere, that even in chaos there's a reason to be glad. It's a bold act of resistance against despair, a refusal to let circumstances dictate our spirit. So when life feels like it's falling apart, remember this: you're not walking a collapsing bridge. You're walking on the strength of unfailing love that satisfies and sustains. That is your foundation, your song, your reason to rise and sing for joy all your days. "Be present. Be incredible. 16. 4243777 Enough is Enough! When you're married, communication isn't always a smooth, gentle sail. Sometimes it feels like you need to set off an avalanche just for your spouse to even glance your way. You may not like it, but those hot fights are the wake-up call, the "enough is enough" moment that shakes things loose. But here's the catch: standing your ground doesn't mean tearing your partner down, making them feel small, or turning the conversation into a demolition derby. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Think about where you are in your marriage? You want to be fierce and firm without being a jerk. So how do you make your point—and make it stick—without belittling the person you promised to stand with? The K.I.S.S. ~ Be fierce and firm! Here are three sharp, no-nonsense moves to make sure your voice hits home without blowing the whole house down. 1. Own Your Feelings Like Fire, Not a Fist Forget blaming or shaming. The second your words start pointing fingers, your partner's brain locks down. Instead, use the power of "I" statements that bring your gut feelings front and center. This isn't about tattling, it's about declaring your reality. Say it loud and clear: "I feel unheard when I try to talk about this." "When you dismiss my thoughts, it hurts because I care." Notice the difference? You're not accusing—you're owning your emotions like a mature adult who demands respect. It's hard to brush that off or argue with feelings that come straight from your heart. 2. Set a Clear Boundary—with Consequences If you want someone to listen, first you need to show them that not listening has real consequences. This doesn't mean ultimatums or drama, but firm boundaries with follow-through. Example: "I need us to have a real conversation about this tonight, or I'm taking some time alone to think." "If we can't sit down and work this through, I'm going to suggest couples counseling." You're not threatening—you're making it crystal clear that ignoring the problem isn't an option anymore. This stakes your claim with a direct, mature call for accountability and signals that your feelings aren't disposable. 3. Use The Power of Pause and Presence Sometimes the most powerful way to get through to someone who won't listen is to stop trying to fight fire with fire. When it all escalates, pull back briefly to reset the tone—but don't disappear emotionally. Try this instead: "I'm going to take a few minutes to calm down, but when I come back, I want us to really listen to each other." Or simply sit in the same room silently, making eye contact, showing you're present but not giving in. This "pause and be present" move flips the power dynamic. It puts your partner in a spot where they have to face the seriousness of the moment without you yelling over them. Silence can be louder than words if you wield it right. Bottom Line You don't have to live in a constant war zone—standing up for yourself can look like controlled fire, not an explosion. When your spouse refuses to listen, sometimes you do need that avalanche to shake things up. But you get to decide if it's an avalanche of respect or a landslide of drama. Own your feelings. Set boundaries with consequences. Use a poised, intentional pause. That's how you plant a stake in the ground without breaking the whole marriage up. Remember: Sometimes a hot fight is exactly the jolt your relationship needs—just make sure it leads to real listening, not just noise. "Be present. Be incredible. 17. 4253776 Embrace the Beautiful MessParenting is a beautiful mess. It's raw, chaotic, exhausting—and at the same time, it's the most rewarding and risky thing you'll ever do. If you feel like your life as a parent isn't what it "should" be, you're not alone. Embrace the beautiful mess. Because this mess is exactly where the magic happens. The challenge is not to escape it, but to live fully inside it without losing yourself. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Have you ever thought the home itself is a mess, but so am I? Raising kids is not for the faint of heart. It takes a lot of work, prayers, patience, and more prayers. But when you have glimpses of the blessings in the mess, you wouldn't change a thing. Remember, rainbows come after a storm.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Rainbows come after the storm! So, how do you keep your sanity when the chaos threatens to swallow you whole? Here are three hard truths every parent needs to own to hold onto their sense of self—and see the blessings through the noise. 1. Set Boundaries Without Guilt You're not a superhero. Your well-being isn't optional—it's essential. Saying "no" or carving out time for yourself is not selfish. It's strategic self-care. When you're drained, you're less patient, less present, and less effective. Nobody benefits from a burned-out parent yelling over tantrums or stacking demands. Choose what you will and won't take on. Delegate. Close the laptop at a set time. Don't say yes to every event or chore. Boundaries create breathing room. And breathing room is what keeps your head clear and your heart open to your kids, rather than snapping at them from stress. 2. Anchor in What Matters—Daily It's easy to get lost in the endless to-dos and disappointments. The dinner burned, the missed school notification, the tantrum in aisle six—it piles up fast. But those moments don't define your entire story. Get in the habit of pausing to name one thing—big or small—you're grateful for every single day. It could be your child's laughter, a quiet hug, a shared joke, or that moment when your kid finally slept through the night. Focus trains your brain to see the good beyond the chaos. This isn't "fake positivity." It's necessary muscle-building to recognize the blessings hiding in plain sight. You find what you look for. So, what are you looking for? 3. Show Up Intentionally—You Choose the Vibe Parenting isn't some fixed role you can't influence. You get to decide how you show up—even on impossible days. Your mindset shapes your family's vibe. You can mirror frustration and exhaustion, or you can lead with calm, curiosity, and humor. That doesn't mean forcing a smile when you feel overwhelmed. It means setting an intention each day to be the parent your family needs—not the parent you think you have to be. Nobody is perfect. Everyone faces hard days. What sets thriving families apart is the choice to keep showing up with love and resolve, even when life feels like a mess. Parenting is the highest-risk, highest-reward gig you'll ever have. But here's the thing: you get to choose how to show up to shape a family that thrives, not just survives. The mess is real, but so is the love. Keep your boundaries sharp, your focus anchored, and your intention clear—and you won't just survive the beautiful mess; you'll own it. It's not about flawless days or perfect kids. It's about you claiming your space in the chaos and seeing the blessings through every cracked moment. That's the real victory—to show up fully, flawed and strong, as the parent your family deserves. Embrace the Beautiful Mess by Kristianne Wargo Embrace the beautiful mess— The scattered toys, the wild unrest, The crumbs that line the kitchen floor, The laughter echoing through the door. It's chaos spun from love's own thread, A tapestry where tears are shed, Where tantrums roar and tempers flare, Yet tender moments linger there. In spilled juice and sleepless nights, In endless battles, tiny fights— There's magic hiding in the fray, A story only you can play. The perfect life's a myth, a guess; True grace lives in the beautiful mess. So wash your hands, take a breath, And lean into the wild—embrace the mess. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 18. 4263775 Blaze a TrailThe mountains you experience may feel like they're not moving; fear has you frozen because you're stepping into something you have never walked before. So saddle up your heart and blaze a trail. Listen—blazing a trail doesn't mean waiting for a clear path or a perfect plan. It means saying, "I'll figure this out." So stop waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect plan. Your trail starts with your next move—no matter how small. The future belongs to the ones willing to carve it out, one step at a time, which is going to lead you to miles of greatness. You were not created to follow. You're here to lead so you can go and impact the world you touch with your gifts and talents. Go blaze that trail and create your now! "Be present. Be incredible. 19. 4273774 Hit Me with Your Best ShotLife is not going to ever be easy or simple. But simple decisions bring greater rewards, specifically in your health. Hit me with your best shot. If you think your health will just take care of itself through the ups and downs, you're setting yourself up to fail. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The truth is, simple, clear decisions—made every day—are what stack up into real health wins. When everything else feels out of control, your commitment to these basics becomes your shield and sword. What are you doing now to protect your health? I am on a journey, too, figuring out what works best for my body type. But the season I'm in is really challenging. In fact, I don't have control over the majority of what is happening.  And that's all the more reason to stick to your guns. The K.I.S.S. ~ Stick to your guns! Cause life will throw you curveballs. However, you don't have to let those curveballs derail everything!! Here are three no-nonsense moves anyone can lean on to manage their health during difficult times: Control Your Inner Circle You can't always change what's happening around you, but you can control what you put in your body and mind. Choose food that fuels you rather than drains you. Hydrate like your energy depends on it—because it does. And guard your mental space: pull back on toxic news or people who drain your willpower. These choices aren't glamorous, but they keep your foundation solid. Create Mini Rituals That Stick When chaos sweeps in, the world demands more from you. That's when it's crucial to build mini routines that don't require hours or special equipment, but anchor your day. A 5-minute stretch, a 10 deep breaths focus break, or a walk at the same time daily adds structure and signals to your brain that you have control. Small wins like this multiply under pressure. Prioritize Rest and Recovery Stress doesn't just mess with your mood—it kills your health quietly. Sleep like your life depends on it. If you can't get a full 7-8 hours, grab power naps to reboot. Find pockets of downtime to unplug, even if it's 10 minutes away from screens. When you let your body recharge, your immune system fights better and your mindset sharpens. You can't fight all day on empty tanks. Managing your health in chaos isn't about heroic feats or perfect behaviors. It's about choosing what's simple and repeatable when the noise gets loud. Narrow down what's in your control and keep showing up for those things every day, no matter how small the action feels. Life will keep throwing punches. You've got to keep your guard up, stand your ground, and let your health account grow steadily. The fewer distractions and the clearer your plan, the easier it is to avoid getting knocked off balance. So what's your next move? What simple, bulletproof habit will you stake your health on today? Hit me with your best shot—you got this!! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 20. 4283773 Carve Out the TimeLife has a way of pulling us in every direction at once. The endless responsibilities, personal passions, and career demands—whether inside or outside the home—can all collide, leaving you gasping for a moment to breathe. If you're feeling stuck, trapped by your own series of "YES" commitments, it's time for a reset. It's time to carve out the time. Because that time belongs to you! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Pause for just a moment. Recognize that what you've been doing isn't working. That's not a failure. It's clarity. But don't mistake that clarity for defeat. Hope is still here, still waiting for you to grab it. You absolutely can manage your schedule to fit the life you want. It's about finding rhythms that respect your energy and priorities—not squeezing life into rigid boxes. But beating yourself up over what's not working? That's just wasted energy. What purpose does it serve other than to keep you stuck? Instead, lead with kindness and compassion toward yourself. Give yourself that crucial moment of reprieve. When you stop the inner criticism, you create space to truly see what's working and what's not. You start to spot the patterns that drain you and the routines that fuel you. You begin to understand how to carve time from the chaos, instead of letting the chaos carve you up. The K.I.S.S. ~ Carve out the time! "Stuckness does not define your capabilities." ~ Kristianne Wargo Being overwhelmed isn't a sign of weakness; it's a signal that something needs to change. You are capable of shifting gears, reshaping your days, and deciding where you spend your YESes. You have more control than you think. So, start small. Block 15 minutes for just you—no distractions, no to-dos that aren't yours. Protect that time like your best asset, because it is. Use it to reflect, plan, or simply breathe. And then from there, build outward. Set boundaries. Say no when you need to. And most importantly, cut yourself some slack when the system falters. This is a process, not a sprint. Time isn't lost—it's waiting for you to claim it. Carve out the time on your terms, with patience and intention. You are created for more. And today, you're not behind; you're exactly where you need to be to recalibrate and move forward stronger. When you give space to know where you are and where you need to go, it opens the door to envision the possibilities and not see all the daily crumbles that fall at your feet. You were created on purpose, for a purpose. But without time, that purpose cannot be shared, so you can impact the world you touch. Unbuckle your seatbelt that is holding you hostage, and be free to be who you are and who you are becoming. "Be present. Be incredible. 21. 4293772 How Rhythm Beats Speed Every TimeWe all want more time. More hours to get more done. Faster moves mean faster results, right? Wrong! The problem isn't a shortage of time—it's how rhythm beats speed every time. We could all use more time to accomplish more. However, unfortunately, all we get is being backlogged with thoughts of "I wish I had more time" and "Why can't I move faster?" Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com "Distractions hijack your actions." ~ Kristianne Wargo Interruptions speed up time, making it slip through your fingers even faster. Rushing only fragments your focus and steals your momentum. Complaining about not having enough time or daydreaming about "more" won't move the needle. Instead, there's one way to conquer the chaos and find steady progress: go with the F.L.O.W. The K.I.S.S. ~ Go with the F.L.O.W.! As we know, distractions, interruptions, and disturbances only speed up time, leaving less time.  If you let things get in the way, it takes MORE time to get things done. So get into a rhythm and go with the F.L.O.W.! Face what matters. Get brutally honest with what's truly important right now. This isn't about to-do lists cluttered with busywork; it's about aligning your heart and mind on what demands your energy in this moment. List it. Write down your priority tasks. If your to-do list doesn't line up with your real priorities, you're off rhythm. Cut the noise and reset until what you do matches what matters. Organize your schedule. Stop giving time away to endless distractions. Block your schedule like you mean it. Guard that time as if your results depend on it—because they do. Wholehearted commitment. When it's go-time, dive in with everything you've got. No backtracking. No second-guessing. Drop the excuses that slow you down. Going with the F.L.O.W isn't about hustle—it's about rhythm. The steady beat that keeps your days from spinning out of control and turns effort into consistent action. Remember: moving faster isn't the answer. Getting into rhythm and syncing your time with what really matters—that's how you own your day, your work, and your life. So stop wishing for more time and stop dreaming "if only," and start mastering the rhythms that make the time you have unstoppable. "Be present. Be incredible. 22. 4303771 Oh Lord, You're Beautiful"Oh Lord, You're beautiful, Your face is all I seek. And when Your eyes are on this child, Your grace abounds to me." This heartfelt song, written by Chris Tomlin and Steffany Gretzinger (2022), captures a truth that unwaveringly stands through joy and hardship alike: God is beautiful. Not in the way the world measures beauty—with fleeting success, perfection, or ease—but in His eternal character, mercy, and unfailing love. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Beauty in the Midst of Hardship Life rarely unfolds according to our plans. Dreams don't always come true the way we imagine. Circumstances can be ruthless, and the weight of the world can crush our spirit. Yet, amid these trials, the Bible reminds us of a beauty that transcends all earthly struggles. Psalm 27:4 says, "One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." The psalmist's longing isn't for comfort or ease, but to behold God Himself. His beauty shines brightest when everything else falls away. Isaiah 61:3 speaks of God's purpose to replace our ashes with beauty: "To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." No matter the pain or loss, God's presence brings a beauty this world cannot touch. The K.I.S.S. ~ Oh Lord, You're beautiful! Beauty Revealed Through Pain—The Story of MercyMe The film I Can Only Imagine tells the story behind the song of the same name by the band MercyMe. It's not about what Bart Millard did to find success but about what God did in the brokenness of his life. Bart's painful relationship with his father could have defined him—and many would expect that pain to harden or destroy. Instead, God's beauty poured into that brokenness, restoring, redeeming, and inspiring millions. This story reminds us that God's beauty isn't reserved for the perfect or the successful—it shines brightest where there is hurt, where hope seems lost. Romans 8:28 assures us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Even our pain has a purpose in God's grand design. A New Direction: Coming as You Are Maybe you've been headed one way, chasing your dream or seeking your own plan, only to find closed doors or unexpected detours. God isn't surprised. He has already set the table for you—inviting you to come as you are, no edits required. Psalm 23:5 paints this picture beautifully: "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." God's invitation to us is immediate and full of grace, even when our circumstances are messy and our hearts are hesitant. But here's the question: Is your heart willing? Are you ready to look up from your struggles and see God's face—beautiful, steady, unchanging? Your Next Move In the toughest moments, when the world feels heavy and your dreams seem out of reach, stop and seek His face. God's beauty doesn't depend on your success, your happiness, or your understanding. It depends on who He is—loving, gracious, and faithful. Come as you are. Look to Him. Find grace for the journey. Because when God's eyes are on you, His beauty surrounds you and abounds in you. "Be present. Be incredible. 23. 4313770 When the Feeling FadesThere's a kind of magic in falling in love. It hits hard, sparking joy, passion, and an overwhelming sense of connection. When you say "I do," it feels like the beginning of forever—a forever fueled by those electrifying feelings. But what happens when the feeling fades? For most married couples, the intense emotional need—the attraction, the butterflies, the all-consuming desire to be near one another—lasts about two years. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com After that, reality creeps in. The daily grind, the frustrations, the quirks that were once charming now feel annoying. The relationship stops feeling like effortless joy and more like hard work. And who wants a relationship that feels like work? No one. So what then? How do you keep the spark alive when the feeling fades? When love feels more like a duty than a delight? You don't just throw in the towel because the honeymoon stage ended. That's not marriage. It's just the start of something deeper that needs conscious attention and effort. Here's why you fell in love in the first place When those waves of irritation and disappointment surge, if you stop and reflect, you can still recall the reasons you said "yes." Your partner's laughter, their kindness, how they made you feel seen. These memories remind you that your love had substance beyond just fleeting feelings. It's natural to want to hold on to that. But clinging too tightly to nostalgia won't fix your present. The Feeling Is Fading — Now What? Dr. Gary Chapman, renowned marriage counselor and author of The 5 Love Languages, offers a clear path forward: marriage is not about feelings alone; it's about commitment. Your head has to talk to your heart and say, "I'm choosing to love you today, even if I don't feel the way I did before." The K.I.S.S. ~ Choose to love today! To not only keep the feeling alive but deepen the connection, here are three crucial steps couples can take: 1. Speak Your Partner's Love Language Chapman's groundbreaking insight is that everyone receives love differently—some through words, others through deeds, touch, gifts, or quality time. When you stop getting that intense rush of attraction, what can keep you connected is meeting your spouse's emotional needs in the way they understand best. If your partner's love language is "Acts of Service," those small thoughtful actions speak louder than a tired "I love you." If it's "Words of Affirmation," never underestimate the power of sincere compliments and appreciation. Find their language and speak it fluently. 2. Prioritize Connection Over Convenience Love means choosing connection, even when it's easier to check out. Make time for meaningful conversations and shared experiences, not as a chore but as a commitment. Rotate "date nights" or mini check-ins that remind you both why you chose each other. Chapman once said, "We don't feel loved when we don't feel heard." So listen—actively and without judgment. Listen to what your partner needs, fears, dreams, and frustrations. When you feel heard, love grows. 3. Commit to Growth, Not Perfection Nobody said marriage is easy. Chapman emphasizes, "Love is a choice you make every day." It requires patience, forgiveness, and a willingness to evolve—both individually and as a couple. When the feeling fades, it's an invitation to grow closer by overcoming challenges together. Share your vulnerabilities. Take responsibility for your part in conflicts. Focus on solutions rather than blame. In the end, choice trumps feeling. The best marriages aren't built on feelings alone because feelings are fleeting. They are built on a daily decision to love, communicate, and show up. When your head commits, your heart often follows. And over time, that commitment can even spark new feelings—ones that are steadier, richer, and more aligned with the real, imperfect human in front of you. If you want your marriage to last past the fade, don't wait for feelings to come back on their own. Choose to love anyway. Your relationship isn't just about how you feel—it's about who you decide to be together. You've got clarity on what happens when the feeling fades—and what to do next. Your move? Start speaking your partner's love language in action, schedule that meaningful conversation, and commit to growing together. Let your head lead your heart, and watch the love deepen beyond the surface. No fluff. No magic potions. Just hard, real-hearted work that turns fading feelings into lasting love. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 24. 4323769 Stop the EntitlementLet's be real—teaching your child appreciation in today's world is like trying to hold back a tidal wave. Everywhere they look, the message blares loud and clear: "You deserve it." Stop the entitlement and encourage the appreciation. Because if we are real and raw, no one wants to wait for anything. If you are older and wiser, you probably understand the importance of hard work and saving. We didn't get to have something just because it was newly released. We had to save and plan. If we don't intervene, we aren't doing our kids any favors—we're setting them up to believe the world owes them without effort. That spoiled mindset sabotages their future, leaving them unprepared for real life. The only way they will get ahead is if you help instill genuine gratitude while dismantling entitlement. The K.I.S.S. ~ Instill genuine gratitude! So how do you get ahead and instill genuine gratitude while dismantling entitlement? Here are three no-nonsense moves every parent must make: 1. Teach Ownership of Effort, Not Outcome Kids need to understand early that rewards come from action, not just desire. Help them experience working toward something and earning it. For example, let them save part of their allowance to buy a coveted toy or tie screen time privileges to completed chores or homework. The focus isn't just on getting the prize—it's owning the path that leads there. When they struggle or fail, lean in with real talk. Point out that life doesn't hand out trophies for trying alone, but recognizing effort is the first step toward earning success. This builds grit, patience, and perspective. 2. Model Explicit Gratitude—Not Just "Thank You" Saying "thank you" is table stakes. Show your child what appreciation actually looks like. Vocalize your own gratitude for small things, like a warm meal or a friend's kindness, and why it matters. Invite your child to notice and express what they genuinely feel thankful for daily—not because they have to, but because it's real. This habit trains their emotional radar to catch blessings instead of entitlement triggers. Additionally, when appreciation is part of the family's rhythm, your child views gratitude as a strength, not a weakness. 3. Create "Want vs. Need" Awareness Kids rarely pause to ask, "Do I really need this, or do I just want it?" It's on you to create moments for reflection on this critical distinction. When they make demands or expect instant gratification, challenge them gently but firmly to explain why. Guide them through thinking about how what they want fits into their bigger goals or values—does it bring them closer to the person they want to be, or is it impulse and habit? This builds clarity, grounding them in reality and reducing the fuzzy sense of entitlement that says "I deserve it just because." Here's the bottom line: if you don't teach appreciation, entitlement sneaks in through the cracks. You want a kid who can navigate life with grit, gratitude, and grounded expectations—not a spoiled consumer waiting for things to fall in their lap. These three steps aren't easy, but they are urgent. And the alternative is raising a child unarmed against the entitlement trap—and that's a lose-lose for everyone. Your move now is to shape their mindset today—before the world shapes it for them. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
