- 14200 Speak Truth to YourselfThere's a version of you that shows up every morning with a smile already rehearsed. She knows the right words — I'm fine, I'm blessed, I'm good — and she delivers them so well that most people never think to ask a follow-up question. She's pleasant. She's put together. And she is exhausted from the performance. But today, let's get a little I uncomfortable; speak truth to yourself. It's not truth aimed at someone else or spoken from a stage or typed out in a text. It is the kind of truth that happens when you close the door, sit with God, and finally stop narrating the version of your life you wish were real. It's not proof that your faith isn't working. Honesty is the very foundation every real, lasting change is built on. You cannot transform what you refuse to name. You cannot heal what you keep hiding — not from others, but from yourself. Think about what plays on repeat in your mind when no one else is listening. The worry you've dressed up as planning. The resentment you've renamed "boundaries." The sadness you've buried under busyness so deep you barely recognize it anymore. Those thoughts aren't your enemy. They're your starting point. And God already knows every single one of them. The psalmist David understood this. In one of his rawest, most unguarded moments, he wrote, "Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place" (Psalm 51:6). God desires truth in the inward parts. Not the public parts. Not the Sunday morning parts. It's the secret place; the place where your real thoughts live. The place you've been afraid to let anyone — including Him — fully into. The K.I.S.S. ~ Speak truth to yourself! God isn't standing at the door of that secret place with a clipboard and a disappointed look. He's standing there with an invitation. He already knows what's inside. He's not shocked by your doubt, your frustration, your grief, your anger, or the prayer you can't bring yourself to pray out loud. He knew it before you thought it. And He's not asking you to clean it up before you bring it to Him. He's asking you to bring it — messy, unedited, and real — because that's where intimacy begins. We spend so much energy performing "fine" that we forget what it feels like to simply be. To sit in the truth of where we actually are without rushing to fix it, spiritualize it, or slap a scripture on it like a Band-Aid. Scripture was never meant to be a Band-Aid. It was meant to be a mirror, a lamp, a sword — something that goes deep enough to do real work. But it can only reach the places we're willing to expose. Thomas Jefferson once said, "Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom." The first chapter. Not the last. Not the climax. The beginning. That means you don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start with what's true. And from that one honest breath — Lord, here's where I really am — wisdom begins to build. So today, I'm not asking you to confess anything to anyone. I'm not asking you to post it, share it, or turn it into a testimony. I'm asking you to be still long enough to hear your own voice — the real one — and then let God meet you there. Tell Him the thing you've been editing. Pray the prayer you've been too afraid to say. Write the sentence in your journal that starts with "The truth is…" and then let your pen keep moving. You are not too much for Him. Your honesty will not break His love. In fact, it's the very thing that opens the door for His love to reach the rooms you've been locking everyone out of — including yourself. Real change doesn't start with a new strategy. It doesn't start with a new habit tracker or a five-step plan. It starts the moment you stop pretending and start breathing. It starts with truth. And truth, sweet friend, is not the end of the story — it's the bravest, most beautiful beginning you'll ever choose. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 24199 Running On NoiseYou haven't even gotten out of bed yet, and already, the world is talking to you. Notifications are lighting up the nightstand. Headlines are waiting behind the lock screen. Opinions, arguments, comparisons are all lined up before your feet hit the floor. You're running on noise, and you don't even realize it. Yesterday, in Guard Your Heart, Guard Your Path, we talked about why guarding your heart matters — because everything you do flows from it. Today, I want us to go a step deeper. If your heart is the wellspring, then your mind is the gate. And every single day, that gate is being flooded. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment Here's the thing we don't often stop to think about: the noise of the world doesn't just pass through you. It moves in. It takes up space. It starts shaping your thoughts, your emotions, your responses — and it does it so quietly that you don't even notice until you're reacting to life out of anxiety instead of peace, out of comparison instead of calling. Proverbs 4:23 tells us, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." But guarding your heart requires guarding what gets in. And in a culture that never stops broadcasting, that takes real intentionality. Think about your morning. Before you pray, before you open your Bible, before you sit with God for even one quiet minute — how many voices have already spoken? The news anchor. The social media algorithm. The group chat. The email from your boss. And here's what we don't always see: those first few minutes of scrolling aren't neutral. They're formational. When the first thing you do each morning is absorb the world's headlines, the world's outrage, the world's measuring stick — you are being quietly discipled by a voice that was never meant to lead you. This is just what happens when the first voice you hear every day isn't His. And it's not that any one of those things is bad. It's that the accumulation of it — the sheer volume and relentlessness of it — starts to drown out the still, small voice you were designed to live by. You're not choosing to let the noise rule your mind. You just never chose not to. That's what makes this so sneaky. We don't sit down and consciously decide, "I'm going to let the world set the tone for my thinking today." It just happens. It happens in the scroll before coffee. It happens in the podcast on the commute. It happens in the background noise we've stopped noticing because it's always there. And slowly, without permission, the noise begins to form us. But here's where it turns: you get to choose what forms you. You are not powerless. You are not stuck. You have the authority — and the invitation — to set a different rhythm. To decide that the first voice you hear will be the One who calls you beloved. To build a gate around your mind that doesn't slam shut on the world but opens first to God. The K.I.S.S. ~ Guard the gate! Put some conscious thought into it. Know what you are thinking and what you want to think about. Workbook to Guard the Gate: Download Here. So here's the question: What would change in your thinking if the first thing you gave your attention to every morning wasn't the noise — but the truth? 1. START your day in silence with God first. Before you pick up your phone tomorrow morning, spend five minutes in quiet. Let God's voice be the first one you hear. Not the headlines. Not the notifications. Not the group chat. Just Him. 2. IDENTIFY one source of noise this week. Maybe it's a social media feed, a show, a habit that consistently leaves you feeling less peaceful. You know the one. Set a boundary around it, even if it's temporary. You're not canceling it forever. You're just making room. 3. REPLACE that noise with one intentional input: Maybe a worship playlist, a scripture audio plan, or five minutes of quiet prayer during a time you'd normally scroll. Don't just remove the noise — fill the space with something that feeds your soul. Guarding the gate isn't about shutting the world out entirely. It's about choosing what gets the first word — and the last word — in your day. When you let God speak first, everything else falls into its proper place. The noise doesn't disappear, but it stops running the show and your day. You were never meant to be formed by the scroll. You were meant to be formed by the Spirit. So this week, take back the gate. One morning at a time. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 34198 Guard Your Heart, Guard Your PathThere is a quiet war happening in every life, and most of us barely notice it. It doesn't announce itself with sirens or alarms. It creeps in through the glow of a screen, the scroll of a feed, the weight of words we never asked to carry. And before we know it, we've wandered. Not dramatically. Not all at once. But step by slow step, we've drifted from the path God laid out for us — because somewhere along the way, we stopped guarding what matters most. If wisdom has taught us anything, it's this: guard your heart, guard your path. Solomon understood this. In Proverbs 4:23, he writes, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Above all else. Not "when it's convenient." Not "if you remember." Above. All. Else. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday That language is urgent because the stakes are urgent. Everything we do — every decision, every reaction, every relationship, every step forward or backward — flows from the heart. It is the wellspring. It is the source. And if the source is polluted, the path will show it. Think about that for a moment. What flows from your heart right now? Is it peace or anxiety? Is it faith or fear? Is it clarity or confusion? The answer will likely tell you what you've been allowing in. Because the heart doesn't guard itself. It absorbs. It takes in whatever we give it — the voices, the images, the opinions, the noise — and it shapes our steps accordingly. We live in an age of unfiltered access. Technology has handed us the entire world in the palm of our hands, and with it has come an avalanche of distraction. News cycles designed to stir outrage. Social media platforms built to hook our attention and hold it hostage. Conversations that pull us into comparison, into self-doubt, into places God never intended for us to dwell. None of it is accidental. Every notification, every algorithm, every autoplay video is designed to capture your focus — and focus is a resource of the heart. Solomon goes on in Proverbs 4:25–27 to say, "Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil." There's an intentionality in those words that we can't afford to miss. He's not describing a passive walk. He's describing a deliberate one. Eyes forward. Feet steady. No wandering. That kind of focus doesn't happen by accident. It happens by choice — daily, sometimes hourly, sometimes minute by minute. Guarding your heart means becoming a gatekeeper of your own life. It means asking, "Does this belong here?" before you let something in. That podcast you listen to on your morning commute — is it building your faith or eroding it? That group text, that conversation at the office, that late-night scroll through social media — is it drawing you closer to who God created you to be, or pulling you further from it? These aren't dramatic questions. They're practical ones. And wisdom lives in the practical. The Psalmist knew this, too. In Psalm 119:105, we read, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Notice the imagery. A lamp for my feet — not a floodlight for the entire highway. God's Word gives us just enough light for the next step. And that next step requires a heart that's clear enough to see it. When we flood our hearts with noise and distraction, we dim that lamp. We make it harder to hear the voice that actually matters. We trade the light of truth for the glow of a screen, and then we wonder why the path feels uncertain. The K.I.S.S. ~ Guard your heart, guard your path! But here's the beautiful part of all of this — guarding your heart isn't about building walls. It's about building wisdom. It's not about living in fear of the world. It's about living with such intention that the world doesn't get to dictate your direction. "When your heart is rooted in God's Word, when it's fed by truth and watered by prayer, it becomes steady ground. And from steady ground, you walk a steady path." ~ Kristianne Wargo At some point, our wisdom must meet our walk. It's not enough to know what's right. It's not enough to underline verses and nod along on Sunday morning. Wisdom asks us to live it. To put the phone down when it's stealing our peace. To step away from conversations that plant seeds of doubt. To turn off the noise long enough to hear God whisper, "This is the way — walk in it." That's where the guarding happens. Not in some grand, once-and-for-all decision, but in the small, daily choices that add up to a life of purpose. So today, take inventory. What have you been letting in? What voices are shaping the way you see yourself, your family, your future? And are those voices aligned with the One who created you for something beautiful? Because the path ahead of you is good. God has already laid it out. But to walk it well, you have to protect the place it all begins. Guard your heart, and you will guard your path. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness! — that's where wisdom meets the walk." ~ Kristianne Wargo And with God lighting the way, not a single step is wasted. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 44197 Remember When?Every love story has a moment tucked inside that changes everything. Maybe it was the way he looked at you from across the room. Maybe it was a conversation that went three hours longer than it should have because neither of you wanted it to end. Maybe it was nothing dramatic at all — just a quiet knowing that settled into your bones and whispered, this one. Whatever your moment was, it marked the beginning of something God had been writing long before you ever knew his name. Remember when? Because the best way to move your marriage forward is going back to the beginning. Now, I know what you might be thinking. Kristianne, we are not the same people we were back then. And you are right. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage Life has done what life does. It has layered on responsibilities and routines, sleepless seasons and silent frustrations, moments of deep joy and stretches of deep exhaustion. The couple who once stayed up until two in the morning talking about everything and nothing now falls asleep mid-sentence on the couch by nine. And that is okay. Growth looks different than it feels. Going back to the beginning isn't about pretending those layers don't exist. It is about remembering what is underneath all of them. Because underneath the bills, the carpools, the calendar that never seems to have enough room — there is a foundation. And that foundation was not built by accident. It was built by God. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." It's easy to think that verse is just about your individual life and what you are going to be when you grow up. But we forget that it's about your whole life, which makes it about your marriage too. God had a plan when He brought the two of you together. He saw the beginning, and He already knew every chapter that would follow. When you go back to the start of your story, you are not escaping the present. You are reconnecting with the purpose that has been holding you together all along. Think about it this way. When a tree is struggling — when its leaves are dry and its branches look tired — a gardener does not just look at the surface. She checks the roots. She makes sure the foundation is still being nourished, still being watered, still connected to what gives it life. Your marriage is the same. The fruit you see on the outside — the way you communicate, the way you serve each other, the way you show up day after day — all of it is connected to the roots. And your roots live in the beginning. Song of Solomon 2:10–13 paints a picture so vivid you can almost feel the warmth on your skin: "My beloved spoke and said to me, 'Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me. See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.'" Do you feel that? There is an invitation in those words. An invitation to come out of whatever cold season you have been standing in and step back into the warmth of what love was always meant to be. Not a love that ignores the hard things. A love that remembers it was built to outlast them. Maybe your beginning was full of butterflies and big romantic gestures. Or maybe it was quieter than that — a steady friendship that slowly turned into something you could not walk away from. Either way, there was something real there. Something true. And the beautiful thing about truth is that it does not expire. It does not lose its power just because time has passed. It simply waits for you to come back and draw from it again. Thomas Merton once wrote, "The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves." When you first fell in love with your husband, you were not trying to change him. You were captivated by who he already was — the way he laughed, the things he cared about, the way he made you feel seen. Somewhere along the way, it is easy to trade that captivation for correction. To start seeing what needs fixing instead of what first made your heart skip. Going back to the beginning is an invitation to see him again — really see him — the way you did before the world got loud. The K.I.S.S. ~ Revisit your roots! So here is the question I want to sit with you today. What if the key to falling in love all over again is not learning something new — but remembering something you already knew? 1. Pull out a photo or memento from your early days together. Open up that wedding album that has been sitting on the shelf untouched since your last anniversary. Dig out the box of old letters, ticket stubs, or that silly souvenir from the trip where everything went wrong and you laughed until you cried anyway. Find something tangible — something you can hold in your hands — and spend ten minutes looking at it together this week. You do not have to plan a deep conversation around it. Just sit next to each other and let the memories do the talking. You might be surprised how quickly a faded photograph can make the present feel a little brighter. One couple I know found their old wedding guest book in the back of a closet and spent an entire evening reading the messages people had written to them. By the time they closed it, she said it felt like their vows had been renewed without either of them saying a word. 2. Ask your spouse one simple question — "What is your favorite memory of us?" This one requires something that does not always come naturally in a long marriage — genuine curiosity. Do not assume you know the answer. Do not fill in the blanks for him. Just ask, and then do the most loving thing you can do in that moment — listen. Listen without planning your response. Listen without correcting the details. Listen the way you used to listen when everything he said mattered to you because you were still learning who he was. Here is the truth — you are still learning who he is. People are not static. The memory he holds dearest might not be the one you expect. Maybe it is not the grand vacation or the wedding day. Maybe it is a Tuesday night when you brought him coffee without being asked, or the way you held his hand in the hospital waiting room and did not let go. When you hear what he treasures, you learn what love looks like through his eyes. And that changes everything. 3. Recreate one small thing from your dating season. This is not about booking a five-star dinner or planning an elaborate date night — although if that is your thing, go for it. This is about intention. Think about the little things that made your early days feel alive. Was there a restaurant where you always split the same meal? A song that played every time you were together? A drive you used to take just because being in the car together felt like enough? Pick one of those things and do it again. If that restaurant closed years ago, find a similar one and order something that reminds you of what you used to share. If the song is buried somewhere in a playlist you forgot existed, pull it up and play it in the kitchen while you make dinner. It does not have to be perfect. It just has to be purposeful. One woman told me she and her husband used to get gas station coffee and drive the back roads on Sunday mornings when they were dating. They had not done it in over a decade. So one Sunday she woke up early, filled two styrofoam cups, and told him to get in the car. She said he smiled in a way she had not seen in years. That is what revisiting your roots looks like — small, deliberate, and full of love. One thing you must understand: the enemy of a good marriage is not conflict. It is not even distance. It is forgetfulness. When we forget where love began, we start to believe it has nowhere left to go. But when we remember — when we go back to the well of what God started and draw from it again — something shifts. We stop measuring our marriage by what it lacks and start marveling at what it has survived. Your love story is still being written, friend. Every single day. And the Author who began it is faithful to continue it. So this week, take a step back — not away from your marriage, but into its beginning. Let yourself remember. Let yourself feel. And let God remind you that what He started in love, He has every intention of finishing in love. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 54196 The Unseen HoursEvery mother knows the invisible rhythms. The whispered prayers over sleeping children. The mental checklist that never stops running — appointments, groceries, emotions, permission slips, and that look on your kid's face at dinner that told you something was wrong even though they said they were fine. You caught it. You always catch it. And later, after the house goes still, you lie awake turning it over, figuring out how to help, how to hold it, how to fix what you can and surrender what you cannot; oh, the unseen hours. That's not small work. That is love in its most relentless, most faithful form. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent But here's the quiet ache so many mamas carry and never say out loud — when no one sees what you do, it starts to feel like it doesn't matter. And when what you do doesn't seem to matter, you start to wonder if you do. That's the lie. And we need to call it what it is. Your worth was never tied to someone else's awareness of your effort. Colossians 3:23–24 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward." Your audience was never your family's attention — it was always God's heart. He sees every unseen hour. Every quiet sacrifice. Every moment you chose love when you were running on empty. And He calls it good. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be seen. It doesn't mean you should keep swallowing the exhaustion and smiling through it. "The lack of recognition doesn't reduce the value of what you've done." ~ Kristianne Wargo The world may not hand you a trophy for keeping your household running, for holding your child's heart with care, for showing up again when you had nothing left. But heaven keeps a different record. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Your harvest is coming. Not because you earned it by burning yourself down, but because faithfulness has a return — and God doesn't miss a single seed you've planted. But let me be honest with you about something. This series isn't here to glorify the grind. It's not here to say, "Keep pouring until there's nothing left and call it love." No. Love was never meant to cost you yourself. You are more than what you produce. You are more than the lunches and the carpools and the bedtime routines and the late-night text messages. Those things matter because you matter — not the other way around. And you must remember, your children are watching. Not just what you do for them, but how you treat yourself while doing it. They are learning what a woman looks like when she's whole — or when she's disappearing. You get to choose which lesson they carry. Give yourself a gift; honor the unseen. The K.I.S.S. ~ Honor the unseen! And that goes for everything you whisper under your breath, "If you only knew." You matter and the work you do matters. So here's the question — what would it look like to honor the unseen, starting with how you see yourself? 1. Name it. Write down three things you did this week that no one noticed or thanked you for. Look at that list. That's love in action — and it deserves to be seen, even if only by you. 2. Release the scorecard. Stop measuring your worth by whether someone acknowledged what you did. Your labor is not less because it was quiet. Let go of needing the thank-you to feel valuable. 3. Speak over yourself. Before bed tonight, say this out loud: "What I carry matters. What I do matters. And I matter — not because of what I produce, but because of who I am." Mama, the hours are long. There are days when you feel like you're invisible in your own home, running on fumes and faith and not much else. But you are not invisible. Not to God. And not to the woman looking back at you in the mirror who deserves to be told, "You're doing a really beautiful thing." The unseen hours don't make you less. They reveal how deeply you love. And that love is building something you can't even see yet. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 64195 Trust the Ground Beneath YouYou've been doing the work. Maybe it hasn't looked glamorous — maybe nobody handed you a trophy for holding it together on a Tuesday afternoon or choosing faith over fear at two in the morning — but you've been showing up. And now? Something is different. Something is shifting. You can feel it in the way you breathe a little easier, the way hope doesn't feel so far away anymore. That first sign of growth is peeking through, and it's real, and it's yours. So trust the ground beneath you — the ground you are standing on right now. Because that ground has already proven it can hold you. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation You've been through the waiting. You weathered the uncertainty. Some days you weren't sure the next step would hold your weight—but it did. Every single time. And now that things are starting to shift, now that you can actually see movement in your life, you get to stand a little taller and acknowledge something important: you are standing on ground that has been tested, and it didn't give way. That's not luck. That's faithfulness — His and yours. David understood this feeling. He wrote, "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken" (Psalm 62:1–2, NIV). There's something so settled about those words. This isn't a man gritting his teeth and hoping for the best. This is a man who has experienced the holding — who looked down and realized the rock beneath him hadn't moved an inch, even when everything around him did. And now he's resting in it. Not striving. Resting. That's available to you today. The K.I.S.S. ~ Trust the ground beneath you! You don't have to white-knuckle your way into the next season. You don't have to earn the right to exhale. The ground is steady. God made it steady. And the beautiful thing about standing on something solid is that it frees you up to stop looking down and start looking ahead. When you're not constantly worried about falling, you can finally pay attention to where you're going — and friend, where you're going is something worth getting excited about. Here's what I love about this moment you're in. You already have evidence. You're not starting from scratch and hoping for the best. You've walked through something real, and you came out of it with more strength, more clarity, and more faith than you had going in. That's not nothing — that's everything. That is the kind of foundation people spend their whole lives looking for, and you're already standing on it. Corrie ten Boom once said, "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." And right now, you are in the most beautiful position to live that out — because the God you're trusting isn't a stranger. He's the same one who met you in the hard days. He's the same one who kept every promise when you couldn't see how any of them would come together. You know Him. You've experienced Him. And that knowing is the very thing that makes the next step feel less like a leap and more like a walk with someone you trust completely. So let your shoulders drop. Let the smile come. You have done the hard work of holding on, and now it's time to enjoy the view from where you're standing. The ground beneath you is good ground — not because life is suddenly perfect, but because the One who placed you here has never once let you down. Trust it. Trust Him. And walk forward with your head high, because this season you're stepping into? You were made for it. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 74194 Notice the NewHave you ever caught yourself mid-sentence and realized — that's not what I would have said before? Maybe it happened so quietly you almost missed it. A pause where there used to be a reaction. A prayer where there used to be panic. A steadiness in your voice that wasn't there six months ago. If you've been doing the deeper work, from the inside out, of growing, tending, and trusting God through the uncomfortable middle, then it's time to notice the new — because something in you has already shifted. Growth doesn't always announce itself. It doesn't always arrive with fireworks or a finish line. Sometimes it shows up as the absence of something — the worry you didn't spiral into, the comparison you scrolled past without flinching, the boundary you held without apologizing five times afterward. And sometimes it shows up as the presence of something — a gentleness with yourself that feels foreign, a confidence in your calling that you can't quite explain, a prayer life that sounds less like begging and more like trust. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #WellspringWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness Either way, it's there. And you need to see it. Because here's the truth most of us forget when we're in the middle of becoming: you are not the same woman you were. The ground has shifted beneath your feet. The roots have been doing their work in the dark, and now — right now — something green and tender is breaking through the surface of your life. It may not be towering yet. It may not look like much to anyone standing on the outside. But you feel it, don't you? That quiet knowing that God has been rearranging you from the inside out? "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" (Isaiah 43:19, NIV). That word — perceive — is God asking you to see and pay attention to what He's already doing. He's asking you to look down and notice the shoot pushing through the soil. He's asking you to stop measuring your progress by the fruit and start celebrating the first sign of green. This is a holy moment in every season of becoming — the moment you stop focusing on how far you still have to go and let yourself marvel at how far you've already come. But I want to be honest with you, because I think this part matters: noticing the new can feel vulnerable. When you name your growth out loud — even just to yourself — it can feel like you're tempting the universe to take it back. Like the moment you acknowledge progress, something will come along and prove you haven't really changed at all. That's not faith talking. That's fear. And it has no business speaking over what God is cultivating in your life. The enemy loves to convince you that your growth isn't real. That the moment of grace was a fluke. That the peace you felt this morning won't last until Tuesday. But Romans 8:28 reminds us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. All things. The messy middle. The quiet mornings. The small, almost invisible shifts. He wastes nothing, and He certainly isn't going to let your becoming be undone by a bad day or a bout of doubt. The K.I.S.S. ~ Notice the new! So what do you do when you notice the new? You name it. You protect it. And you refuse to let the old narrative trample what's just breaking through. Think of it like a garden. You wouldn't plant a seed, watch it finally push through the dirt, and then walk across it in heavy boots. You'd kneel down. You'd clear the space around it. You'd water it and speak life over it. Your growth deserves the same tenderness. So here's the question: What has shifted in you that you haven't given yourself permission to celebrate yet? 1. Pay attention this week to one moment where you respond differently than you would have six months ago — and name it as growth. Maybe it's the way you paused before reacting to a critical comment instead of firing back. Maybe it's how you chose worship music over worry at 2 a.m. Maybe you caught yourself saying "no" without guilt or "yes" without resentment. Whatever it is, don't let it pass unnoticed. Write it down. Say it out loud. Tell God, "I see what You did there." Growth that goes unnamed is growth that goes uncelebrated — and you deserve to celebrate. 2. Share it with someone you trust — what you're noticing in yourself, even if it feels small. Text your sister. Call your prayer partner. Sit across from a friend over coffee and say, "I think something in me is changing." Growth was never meant to stay hidden. When you speak it out loud to someone who loves you, it becomes more real — and harder for the enemy to talk you out of. You don't need their permission to grow, but you do need a witness who will remind you of this moment when doubt comes knocking. 3. Protect that tender new growth by guarding your thought life — don't let old narratives trample what's just breaking through. When the old voice whispers, "You haven't really changed — just wait," replace it with truth: "He who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion" (Philippians 1:6). Unfollow the account that triggers comparison. Step back from conversations that always leave you questioning yourself. Treat your growth the way you'd treat a seedling — clear the weeds, water it with the Word, and give it room to reach toward the light. Naming your growth isn't pride. It's praise. It's looking at what God has done in the quiet, hidden places and saying, I see it. I receive it. And I'm not going to pretend it didn't happen just because it's small. You are becoming, my friend. Right here, right now, in this season — something new is alive in you. Don't miss it. Don't minimize it. And whatever you do, don't let anyone convince you it doesn't count because it isn't finished yet. The fresh sign of green; the shoot is through the soil. That matters. You matter. And the God who started this good work in you is still at work in you. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 84193 Dare to LookYou know the story — a little girl in a red hood walks through the woods carrying something precious, and somewhere along the way, she realizes that what she's looking at isn't what it seems. The eyes are too big. The teeth are too sharp. The voice is close, but it isn't safe. And yet the part of that story we often overlook isn't the wolf. It's the girl. She looked. She noticed. She didn't just accept what was sitting in front of her — she questioned it. Dare to look. And that is exactly where your courage begins. If you've been walking through this week asking yourself what thoughts you've never questioned, welcome to Rise With Truth — because today, you are daring to look, and you're already braver than you think. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation Most of us grew up hearing the tale of Little Red Riding Hood as a warning — be careful, stay on the path, don't talk to strangers. But there's something deeper in that story when you hold it up to the light. There was a moment when Little Red Riding Hood stood in that room and could have accepted the disguise. She could have ignored the feeling in her gut. She could have smiled and gone along with what she was being told. But instead, she looked closer. What big eyes you have. What big ears you have. What big teeth you have. Question by question, she pulled back the cover on something that had been pretending to be safe. That's what it looks like to examine your thought life. Some of the thoughts you've been living with have been dressed up in familiar voices — comfortable, well-worn, almost believable. They sound like home. They sound like truth. But when you lean in and really look, something doesn't add up. The thought that says you'll never be enough? It's wearing a disguise. The belief that tells you it's too late to change? Its teeth are too sharp to be anything that loves you. The voice that whispers you should just keep quiet and stop hoping for more? That voice is not your grandmother, my friend. That voice is the wolf. And here's the part of the story no one talks about enough — it takes extraordinary courage to question what's familiar. Little Red Riding Hood didn't run at first. She looked. She asked. She let herself see what was really in front of her. That is not small. Mary Anne Radmacher put it this way: "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'" The bravest thing you may do this week isn't to make a grand declaration. It may be pulling back the covers on a thought you've accepted your whole life and finally asking, But is this true? Bravery doesn't begin with the breakthrough. It begins with honesty. It begins the moment you admit, I've been carrying something that doesn't belong to me. Maybe it's a thought about your worth that someone else planted. Maybe it's a belief about what you deserve that was handed to you so long ago you forgot it wasn't yours. Whatever it is, the moment you dare to look at it — really look, the way that girl in the red hood looked — is the moment it starts to lose its power. The K.I.S.S. ~ Dare to look! And unlike Little Red Riding Hood, you don't face the wolf alone. Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Wherever you go — that includes the deep woods of your own thought life. That includes the room where something has been pretending to comfort you while it slowly devours your peace. God doesn't send you in unprotected. He commands courage and then stands right beside you while you pull back every disguise. He's not waiting on the other side of the hard thing. He's with you in the middle of it. So if you woke up today wondering whether you have what it takes to do this — to really begin the work of examining your mind and making it new — I need you to hear me clearly. You've already started. You started the moment you chose to pay attention. You started the moment you stopped accepting every thought at face value and said, What big lies you have. That is not weakness. That is one of the strongest things a woman can do. This journey isn't about tearing yourself apart. It's about opening yourself up — gently, bravely, honestly — and inviting God into the spaces you've been managing on your own. The wolf only has power in the dark. The wolf only wins when no one looks. But you're looking. And the God who walks with you wherever you go has already written how this story ends — not with the wolf, but with the girl who dared to see the truth. So rise, my sweet friend. Rise with the truth that you are held, you are not alone, and the courage you need has already been given to you. One honest look at a time, one surrendered thought at a time, one quiet "I will try again tomorrow" at a time — you are becoming the woman God already sees when He looks at you. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 94192 The Thoughts You Don't QuestionYou woke up this morning, and before your feet touched the floor, your mind was already running. Maybe it started with the to-do list — the one that never quite finishes. Maybe it started with a replay of something you said yesterday that you wish you hadn't. Maybe it was that low hum of not-enough that meets you before the coffee does. And yet, you didn't stop to question any of it. You just let it play. We all do. But here's where it gets tricky — because the thoughts you don't question are the ones running your life. Think about that for a moment. Not the loud, dramatic fears — those get your attention. It's the quiet ones. The familiar ones. The thoughts so constant and so close that they don't even register as thoughts anymore. They just feel like you. "I should be further along by now." "Everyone else seems to have it together." "I'll never be the woman I want to be." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment These aren't things you'd say out loud to your best friend, but you've said them to yourself so many times they've moved in, rearranged the furniture, and started paying rent. And that's exactly the problem! "The most dangerous thoughts in your head aren't the ones you argue with — they're the ones you never challenge at all." ~ Kristianne Wargo David understood this. In Psalm 139:23–24, he prayed one of the bravest prayers in all of Scripture. "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." ~ Psalm 139:23-24 David didn't ask God to fix his behavior first. He didn't start with his actions or his habits. He went straight to the root — his thoughts. His anxious thoughts. The ones that sat underneath everything else. David was essentially saying, "God, I need You to go where I can't go on my own. I need You to see what I've stopped seeing." That takes courage. Because asking God to search your thought life means you're admitting you don't have it all sorted out. It means acknowledging that somewhere in the constant hum of your inner dialogue, there might be things that aren't true — things that feel true, things that have been there for years, things you inherited from your childhood or absorbed from the world — but they aren't from Him. And if they aren't from God, they don't belong. Here's what you need to understand today: your thoughts are not neutral. They are not harmless background noise. Every thought you entertain is shaping the woman you are becoming. Proverbs 23:7 says it plainly — "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." What you think about yourself, what you think about God, what you think about your future — those thoughts are building something. The question is whether they're building the life God designed you for, or a cage you were never meant to live in. You can think of your thoughts like all those Legos lying around waiting to "become" something. And the more they are there, the more likely they will be a part of who you are and who you are becoming. Most of us have never been taught to audit our own minds. We diet. We exercise. We organize our closets and set goals for the new year. But very few women sit down and ask, "What have I been thinking — really thinking — and is it true?" We treat our thought life like the weather: something that just happens to us. But Scripture tells us a different story. Scripture tells us our thought life is a garden — and we get to choose what grows. Joyce Meyer wrote, "You may not be able to control every thought that comes into your mind, but you can refuse to let it stay." That's the distinction. You can't stop a thought from arriving — a worry, a comparison, a whisper of doubt — but you absolutely get to decide whether it gets a seat at the table. And the first step in that decision is noticing it's there in the first place. That's what this week is about. Not fixing your thought life yet. Not replacing every negative pattern overnight. Just seeing. Becoming aware. Because you can't hand something to God that you haven't first been honest about carrying. So question your thoughts! The K.I.S.S. ~ Question your thoughts! What have you stopped seeing? If someone could read the transcript of your mind for the last seven days — unedited, unfiltered — what would they find on repeat? Let's start there and see what you discover. PDF Download HERE 1. PAUSE AND NOTICE — three times a day, write what you're thinking. Set a reminder on your phone for three times a day — morning, midday, and evening. When it goes off, stop what you're doing and write down the thought that was just playing in your head. Don't edit it. Don't clean it up. Don't make it sound better than it is. If it was "I'll never get ahead," write that. If it was "Nobody notices what I do," write that. If it was "I don't know what I'm doing and everyone's going to figure it out" — write it down word for word. This isn't journaling for beauty. This is an honest inventory. You need to see what's actually playing on the loop before you can change the station. By the end of the week, you'll have roughly twenty-one raw snapshots of your unfiltered thought life. That's powerful information. That's the starting line. 2. At the end of the week, CIRCLE THE REPEATS and ask: "Is this mine, or did I pick it up somewhere?" When Friday or Saturday comes, sit down with your notes and look for the patterns. Some thoughts will appear once — just passing clouds. But others will show up again and again and again. Those are the ones to circle. Those are the tenants. Now, next to each repeated thought, ask yourself this question: Where did this come from? Did it come from something someone said to you as a child? From a failure that you never fully processed? From the world's definition of success, beauty, or worth? From the endless scroll of someone else's highlight reel? Because here's the truth many of us miss: not every thought in your head started with you. Some were handed to you — by culture, by hurt, by comparison, by fear — and you simply never handed them back. Identifying the source isn't about placing blame. It's about reclaiming authority over what gets to stay. 3. PRAY Psalm 139:23–24 every single day this week — out loud. This is the bravest step, and it's the most important one. Before you try to fix a single thought pattern, invite God in first. Every morning this week, pray David's words out loud — not silently, not in your head, out loud: "Search me, God, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." When you pray this out loud, you're giving God permission to show you what you haven't been willing to look at on your own. You're telling Him, "I trust You more than I trust my own narrative." And you're setting the tone — a mind made new doesn't start with a strategy; it starts with a surrender. This week is about paying attention, being aware. Don't fix it yet. Don't pressure yourself to change everything by Monday. Just notice. Become the woman who is aware of what she's been thinking — not the woman who lets her thoughts think for her. The moment you start questioning the thoughts you've never questioned, you create space for God to speak something new. And He will. He always does. He's been waiting for you to make room. A mind made new doesn't happen in a single moment. It happens in a single decision — the decision to stop letting your thoughts run unchecked and start holding them up to the truth of who God says you are. And that decision? You just made it. - 104191 The First Step is AskingThere are moments in life when you stand at the crossroads, and everything in you wants to know which way to go. You've prayed. You've weighed the options. You've asked the people closest to you what they think. And still, the path ahead feels uncertain. But what if the breakthrough you've been searching for doesn't start with more information, more advice, or more time? What if the first step is asking — not the people around you, but the God above you? That's where wisdom begins. Not with having the answers, but with being brave enough to admit we need them. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday James 1:5–6 tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt." God gives generously, without finding fault. He doesn't roll His eyes when we come to Him confused. He doesn't keep a tally of how many times we've asked the same question. He gives — and He gives freely. But here's the part we sometimes rush past. James says we have to ask in faith, without doubting. That doesn't mean we have to be perfect. It means we have to be willing to trust that when God speaks, He means it. Asking without faith is like opening your hands to receive a gift and then pulling them back before it's placed in them. God is extending wisdom to us, but we have to keep our hands open long enough to receive it. Proverbs 2 paints an even fuller picture. Solomon writes, "If you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding." There's urgency in those words. Call out. Cry aloud. Search for it like treasure. Wisdom isn't something that just falls into our laps while we're scrolling through our phones. It takes pursuit. It takes hunger. It takes the kind of seeking that says, "God, I'm not moving until I hear from You." And that might be the most countercultural thing a woman can do today — slow down long enough to seek God before she makes the next move. The K.I.S.S. ~ The first step is asking! We live in a world that celebrates speed. Quick decisions. Fast results. Instant answers at our fingertips. But speed without wisdom is just motion without direction. You can be busy every single day and still be walking in circles. Wisdom is what gives your steps purpose. It's the difference between running hard and running toward something that matters. Think about the women in your life who carry a quiet strength. The ones who don't panic when everything shifts. The ones who seem to know when to speak and when to stay silent, when to move and when to wait. That's not luck. That's not personality. That's the fruit of a woman who has spent time in the presence of God, asking Him for what she cannot manufacture on her own. You don't have to have it all figured out today. You don't have to see every step ahead of you before you take the first one. But you do have to be willing to ask. And not just once — every morning, every decision, every conversation that matters. "God, give me wisdom for this." It's one of the simplest prayers you will ever pray, and it's one He has promised to answer. So wherever you are right now — standing at a crossroads, sitting in uncertainty, or just trying to get through a season that feels heavier than you expected — start here. Ask Him. He's not withholding. He's waiting for you to come to Him with open hands and a willing heart. This is the beginning of something beautiful. Over the coming weeks, we're going to walk through what it looks like to live in wisdom every single day — in our homes, in our relationships, in our decisions, and in our faith. But it all starts right here, right now, with a single, honest prayer: "Lord, give me wisdom." With God, nothing is impossible. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 114190 Falling In Love All Over AgainThere is something about the turn of a season that invites us to look at our lives with fresh eyes. The leaves begin to shift, the air cools just enough to remind us that change is not only natural; it's necessary. And if we are honest with ourselves, sometimes the most important thing that needs a fresh look is not our wardrobe or our schedule. It is our marriage. So what if during this beautiful new season, you commit to falling in love all over again. Now, before you close this page and say, "Kristianne, my marriage is fine," let me stop you right there. This is not about fixing what is broken. This is about choosing — on purpose, with intention — to strengthen what already exists. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage Because here is the truth that nobody tells you at the altar: love is not a feeling you fall into once and ride for the rest of your life. Love is a decision you make every single morning when your feet hit the floor. It is a daily yes. A repeated choosing. And some of us have gotten so busy choosing everything else — the career, the kids, the ministry, the groceries — that we have forgotten to choose each other. Think about it. When was the last time you looked at your spouse — really looked — and remembered why you said yes? Not the version of them that leaves dishes in the sink or forgets to take out the trash. The one who made your heart race. The one who made you laugh until your stomach hurt. The one God handpicked for you. That person is still there. And so is that love. It just needs some tending. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." This is your season. Right here. Right now. This fall, we are not just watching the leaves change. We are letting God change us — as wives, as partners, as the women who stand beside the men He gave us. Over the next sixteen Saturdays, we are going to walk through this season together, and by the time we ring in the new year, we will not just be surviving our marriages. We will be celebrating them. I heard someone say once, "A great marriage is not when the perfect couple comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences." That is what this journey is about. Not perfection. Not pretending. Just presence. Just purpose. Just two imperfect people deciding that their love story is worth investing in — again. So wherever you are today — whether your marriage is thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between — you belong here. Pull up a chair. Grab your coffee. And let's begin. The K.I.S.S. ~ Fall into love on purpose! What are you currently doing in your marriage now? Are you making your marriage a priority? Are you making your spouse a priority? 1. Set Your Season with a Conversation. Before this week ends, sit down with your spouse and tell them what you are doing. Say it plainly: "I want to spend this fall being more intentional about us." You do not need a speech. You do not need a plan. You just need to open the door. Let them know they are your priority — not because something is wrong, but because they are worth it. 2. Write Down Three Things You Love About Your Spouse — Right Now. Not three things you loved ten years ago. Three things that are true today. Maybe it is the way they handle stress with patience. Maybe it is how they show up for the kids without being asked. Maybe it is that they still make you laugh. Write them down. Put the list somewhere you will see it this week. Let gratitude be the first seed you plant in this season. 3. Pray a Simple Prayer Over Your Marriage Every Day This Week. It does not need to be long. It does not need to be eloquent. Just honest. Try this: "Lord, thank You for my marriage. Open my eyes to see my spouse the way You see them. Give me a heart that chooses love — today and every day. Amen." Seven days. One prayer. Watch what God begins to stir. One step at a time leads to miles of greatness. And that is exactly what we are doing here — one Saturday at a time, one conversation at a time, one prayer at a time. This is not a race. It is a walk. A slow, beautiful, hand-in-hand walk back to each other. I will meet you right here next Saturday. Until then, love well. Love on purpose. And remember — every great love story has chapters. This is the beginning of a brand new one. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 124189 Find Your Calm in the Chaos of ParentingEvery parent knows that moment when the house is loud, the demands are relentless, someone is crying, and you're not entirely sure it isn't you. Parenting was never meant to be quiet or perfectly composed, but somewhere between the sippy cups and the slammed doors, you can find your calm in the chaos of parenting. Not a calm that pretends everything is fine, but a calm that holds steady because it's rooted in something deeper than the moment. Raising kids takes every ounce of dedication and determination you have. It pulls from reserves you didn't know existed and asks you to pour out again before you've had the chance to be filled back up. And through all of it — the tantrums, the teenage eye rolls, the battles over bedtime — the heartbeat underneath it all is unconditional love. You wouldn't fight this hard for anything that didn't matter this much. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent But here's where the confession comes in. Love doesn't automatically mean we handle things well. Some of the worst moments in our parenting don't come from a lack of love — they come from being so full of love, so full of wanting to get it right, that our emotions take the wheel before wisdom has a chance to sit down. We yell when we meant to listen. We react when we meant to respond. And then the guilt shows up right on time, whispering that a good mom wouldn't have done that. Can I tell you something? A good mom absolutely does that. A good mom is human. The difference isn't perfection — it's what you do next. It's the willingness to pause, to breathe, to look at your child and remember that this tiny or not-so-tiny human isn't your enemy. They're your assignment. And God doesn't give assignments without equipping you for them. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." That verse isn't just about conflict resolution — it's a parenting strategy. Gentleness is not weakness. It is one of the most disciplined, intentional choices a parent can make. It means choosing your words when everything in you wants to let them fly. It means staying grounded when chaos is spinning around you like a tornado with Legos in it. And let's talk about what calm parenting is not. It's not passive. It's not permissive. It's not whispering through gritted teeth while your blood pressure tells a different story. Calm parenting is a posture — an inner steadiness that says, "I will not let this moment define how I lead my family." It's Galatians 5:22-23 in action: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The fruit of the Spirit isn't just for Sunday morning. It's for Tuesday at 5:47 p.m. when dinner is burning and someone just drew on the wall with a permanent marker. The K.I.S.S. ~ Lead with love, not with volume! So what does it actually look like to parent from a place of peace instead of a place of pressure? 1. Lower your voice instead of raising it. When tension rises, our volume tends to follow. But raising your voice rarely accomplishes what you're hoping for. A calm, steady tone signals safety. It tells your child, "I'm in control of myself, and you can trust me in this moment." You don't have to match their energy — you get to set it. The next time things escalate, try bringing your voice down one notch instead of up. You might be amazed at how quickly the room follows. 2. Separate the behavior from the child. This one changes everything. There is a world of difference between "You are so disrespectful" and "That behavior is not okay." One attacks identity. The other addresses the action. Your child needs to know that your love for who they are is never on the table — even when what they did needs correction. When we speak to the behavior and not the heart, we leave room for growth instead of shame. And isn't that exactly what God does with us? 3. Give yourself grace to try again. You're going to lose your cool. It's going to happen. And when it does, the enemy would love nothing more than for you to sit in that failure and let it convince you that you're not cut out for this. Don't let him. Every single moment is a new opportunity to model the patience and grace you're asking your children to learn. Apologize when you need to. Reset when you need to. And remember — your kids don't need a perfect parent. They need a present one who keeps showing up. You were chosen for these children. Not because you had it all figured out, but because God knew your love would be fierce enough to keep learning, keep growing, and keep surrendering the hard stuff back to Him. The chaos isn't going anywhere. Kids are loud and life is unpredictable and there will always be another mess to clean up. But you — you can stand in the middle of all of it with a peace that doesn't make sense to anyone watching from the outside. Because it's not about getting it right every time. It's about getting back up every time. It's about choosing love over volume, peace over perfection, and grace over guilt. That's not weakness. That's the strongest kind of parenting there is. - 134188 Unpack the OldThere is something about this time of year that stirs up a sense of possibility. The air shifts, routines reset, and whether you have children heading back to school or not, fall carries with it a quiet invitation to begin again. But you cannot step into something new if your arms are full of everything old; unpack the old and leave it behind. Think about the last time you traveled with too many bags. Every doorway became an obstacle. Every step felt heavier than it needed to. You spent more energy managing your luggage than enjoying the journey. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation That is exactly what happens when we drag every disappointment, every failed attempt, and every "what if" into a brand-new season. We show up somewhere beautiful, but we are too weighed down to notice. Maybe it is a career move that did not pan out. Maybe it is a relationship that ended differently than you imagined. Maybe it is a version of yourself you thought you would be by now — and you are not there yet. Whatever it is, carrying it forward does not honor the experience. It just exhausts you. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." What you walked through had a purpose, and releasing it has one too. The lesson was the gift. The season itself was never meant to move in with you permanently. When you hold onto what has already served its purpose, you block the very thing that is trying to reach you next. The K.I.S.S. ~ Unpack the old! You have to give yourself permission to put down your baggage and stop replaying moments that didn't work. Not because they do not matter, but because they already taught you what they came to teach. You are not dishonoring your past by choosing to stop living in it. You are honoring the woman you are becoming by making room for her. Also, you must be honest about what you have been carrying out of habit rather than necessity. Some of us have held onto guilt for so long it feels like part of our identity. Some of us replay old conversations not because they are helpful, but because they are familiar. Familiar is not the same as fruitful. Just because something has always traveled with you does not mean it still belongs in your bag. Here is the beautiful thing about a fresh start — it does not require perfection. It requires openness. You don't need every answer or a ten-step plan. You just need to be willing to loosen your grip on what was, so your hands are free to receive what is. As the apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13-14, "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.." He did not say he erased his past. He said he stopped letting it set the direction for his future. This Fall, give yourself the grace to travel lighter. Celebrate how far you have come without punishing yourself for the roads that led to dead ends. Those roads still got you here. And here is exactly where your next chapter begins — not behind you, buried under what went wrong, but ahead of you, wide open and waiting. You were never meant to carry it all. You were meant to grow through it, gather the wisdom, and keep moving. So set it down, my sweet sister. Step forward with your hands open and your heart expectant. The best of what God has for you is not found in the rearview mirror. It is standing right in front of you, asking you to show up — with grace, light, and readiness. "Be present. Be incredible. - 144187 Love the In-BetweenHave you ever paused in front of a mirror and thought, almost? Almost healed. Almost confident. Almost the woman you know you're meant to be — but not quite there yet. That pause, that space between where you were and where you're going, can feel like the loneliest place in the world. But what if that's actually one of the most sacred places where you need to love the in-between? Because most of us have been taught — by the world, by our own expectations, sometimes even by voices inside the church or community or your job or your family — that we earn the right to love who we see only after we've arrived. After the breakthrough. After the weight loss. After the degree. After we've finally gotten it together. We treat self-acceptance like a finish line, and everything before that line? We dismiss it. Tolerate it. Rush past it on the way to "better." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #WellspringWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness But God has never once looked at your unfinished portrait and said, I'll love her when she's done. Not once. Scripture tells us He knew us before we were formed (Jeremiah 1:5). He called us while we were still being knit together in the secret place (Psalm 139:13–14). That means He loved the draft. He loved the sketch. He loved the version of you that hadn't figured anything out yet — and He loves the version standing in the mirror right now who still hasn't figured it all out. The portrait of your life is mid-brushstroke, sweet friend. And the Artist? He isn't panicking. He isn't frustrated with the pace. He isn't comparing your canvas to someone else's. He is tender and intentional and unhurried — and He is asking you to trust the process He's already in the middle of. So why do we keep waiting? Why do we tell ourselves that the woman in the in-between doesn't deserve kindness? That she's "not ready" to be embraced? We wouldn't say that to a friend. We wouldn't look at someone mid-healing and say, Come back when you're finished, and then I'll celebrate you. But somehow we say it to ourselves every single day. This is the part of becoming that no one really talks about — the middle. In this season of learning to love your reflection from root to bloom, the middle matters. The roots are growing, yes. The bloom is coming, yes. But the stem? The reaching? That quiet, unseen stretch between planted and flourishing? That's where most of life actually happens. And it is not wasted space. It is becoming space. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, from one degree of glory to another." Did you catch that? From one degree of glory to another. That means right now — right where you are, in this in-between — you are already in a degree of glory. Not waiting for it. Standing in it. "You are not a rough draft God is embarrassed by. You are a living, breathing testimony of transformation in motion. Love the in-between." ~ Kristianne Wargo The K.I.S.S. ~ Love the in-between! So here's the question: What would change if you decided to love the woman you are right now — not as a consolation prize, but as a genuine act of worship? What do you do now? Is it kind and caring? Or are you brutally raw and disrespectful of who you are and who you are becoming? So how can you help yourself love the in-between? 1. LOOK in the mirror this week — actually look — and speak one kind, true thing over the woman you see. This sounds simple, but for many of us, the mirror has become a place of inspection, not connection. We scan for flaws. We catalog what still needs fixing. We look at ourselves without ever really looking into ourselves — into the eyes of the woman God calls beloved. Psalm 139:14 says, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Notice the tense. It doesn't say "I will be wonderfully made once I finish becoming." It says I am. Present tense. Right now. Mid-process and fully wonderful at the same time. So this week, stand in front of that mirror and say one kind, true thing out loud. Not a wish. Not a goal. A truth. Something like, "You are brave for still showing up" or "God is not finished with you, and that is a beautiful thing." Let your own voice be the one that interrupts the criticism for once. Because what you speak over yourself has power — Proverbs 18:21 tells us that life and death are in the tongue. Choose life, my friend. Even when — especially when — you're talking to yourself. 2. SURRENDER the timeline you've placed on your own becoming and tell God, "I trust Your brushstrokes." If we're honest, most of us aren't struggling to believe that God is working. We're struggling with how long it's taking. We set internal deadlines for our own healing: By this birthday I should be over it. By this season I should have it figured out. By now I should be further along. And every time we pass one of those invisible deadlines, the disappointment doesn't push us forward — it buries us a little deeper. But Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, "He has made everything beautiful in its time." Not in your time. In His time. The Master Artist doesn't work on your schedule, and He never promised He would. What He promised is that the finished work would be beautiful — and that every single brushstroke between here and there has purpose. Surrendering the timeline doesn't mean giving up on growth. It means releasing the pressure you were never meant to carry. It means telling God, "I trust Your brushstrokes — even the ones I don't understand yet." As Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." You don't have to see the full picture to trust the Painter. 3. CELEBRATE one area where you are not who you used to be, even if you're not yet who you're becoming. This might be the hardest step of all three — not because celebration is difficult, but because we've trained ourselves to believe that progress only counts when it's complete. We minimize the distance we've already traveled because we can still see how far we have to go. But here's what I want you to understand: the in-between is full of evidence that God has been moving. Think about it. There's something you handle differently now than you did a year ago. A conversation you can have that you couldn't before. A boundary you hold. A prayer you actually believe when you pray it. A reaction that used to control you that doesn't have the same grip anymore. That is worth celebrating. Philippians 1:6 says, "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." He began a good work. That means the work is already in motion. And if God Himself considers it good while it's still in progress, who are we to dismiss it? Celebration in the middle is not premature. It's prophetic. It declares that you believe God is who He says He is and that He's doing what He said He would do — even before you can see the finished canvas. So name it. Say it out loud. Write it down. Thank God for the version of you that exists right now, because she is living proof that transformation is real, and it is already underway. Please remember that you belong to a God who doesn't make mistakes on His canvas — and He has never once put down the brush. The in-between is not the waiting room. It is the gallery. And what's on your canvas right now — every stroke of healing, every shade of growth, every imperfect, unfinished, God-breathed detail — is already worth seeing. Love her. Love the woman in the mirror who is and who is still becoming. She's not almost something. She is something — right now, today. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 154186 Lead with Your GiftsThere is something inside of you that the world needs. Not the version of you that has been shaped and polished by degrees, training programs, and years of professional experience — though those things matter. But it runs deeper. Before you ever sat in a classroom or clocked into your first job, God planted something in you that was never meant to collect dust; lead with your gifts. Too many of us have spent years building lives around what we've learned while quietly setting aside what we've been given. We show up to work with our skill sets. We volunteer with our expertise. We check the boxes and do good work — and there's nothing wrong with that. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation But somewhere along the way, those God-given gifts got pushed to the back of the shelf. Maybe you told yourself they weren't practical. Maybe someone else told you they weren't enough. Maybe the world simply never made room for them, so you stopped making room for them too. But a learned skill and a God-given gift are not the same thing. Skills are built. Gifts are breathed into you by the One who formed you. Psalm 139:14 reminds us, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are your works." That verse isn't just about your physical body. It's about the fullness of who you were created to be — including every gift tucked inside of you before you ever took your first breath. So why do we let them sit there unused? Fear has a way of whispering just loud enough to make us second-guess what God has already confirmed. It doesn't always show up as full-blown terror. Sometimes it's subtle. It's the hesitation before you speak up. It's the thought that says, "Who am I to do that?" It's the quiet assumption that your gift isn't as valuable as someone else's skill. And over time, those whispers become beliefs. Those beliefs become habits. And those habits keep us playing small in a life that was designed for purpose. Here's what I want you to hear today: doubt didn't come from God. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." If fear and doubt are not from Him, then they have no authority over what He placed in you. None. The seeds of insecurity that were planted in your mind — whether by past failures, critical voices, or your own overthinking — those seeds were never meant to take root. And they certainly were never meant to choke out your calling. The K.I.S.S. ~ Lead with your gifts! Don't throw away what God has given you. I know it can feel risky to step into something that doesn't come with a certificate or a job title. But your gifts were never meant to fit neatly into a résumé. They were meant to flow through you and into the lives of the people around you. When you lead with your gifts, you're not performing. You're not proving yourself. You're fulfilling what you were made for. Yes, your learned skills have a place. They open doors. They pay bills. They allow you to serve in positions that make a real difference. But skills alone will leave you efficient without being fulfilled. When you lean only into what you've been trained to do and ignore what you've been called to do, you may look successful on the outside while something inside quietly aches for more. That ache isn't discontentment — it's your gift asking to be used. Think about what comes naturally to you. Not what you studied for. Not what you practiced until you got it right. What flows out of you without effort? What do people come to you for without you ever hanging a sign on the door? That's your gift. And it deserves more than a back seat. Maybe you've been using your skills to build someone else's vision while your own gift sits waiting for permission. Let today be the day you stop asking for permission and start walking in purpose. Romans 11:29 tells us, "For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable." He hasn't changed His mind about you. He hasn't reassigned your gift to someone more qualified. What He gave you is still yours — and it's still needed. Leading with your gifts doesn't mean abandoning your career or throwing away everything you've built. It means making sure that what God placed in you has an active seat at the table of your life. It means using your skills as the vehicle and your gifts as the compass. One gets you there. The other makes sure you're headed in the right direction. You were not created to simply get by. You were not given breath in your lungs and purpose in your spirit just to check off a to-do list and call it a life. You were made to lead — and the best way to lead is with what was given to you before the world ever had a say. Step into it. Trust it. Use it. Because when you lead with your gifts, you don't just change your own life. You create something that echoes into the lives of everyone around you. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 164185 And That's A Wrap! You cross the finish line. You hit the milestone. You reach that thing you've been praying over, grinding toward, and believing God for — and you exhale. And that's a wrap. Or is it? When you accomplish a goal or finally touch a long-held dream, do you stop? Do you sit down, dust off your hands, and call it done? Or does something inside you whisper, "There's more?" It's very interesting how we see life. The moments can feel like a year, when it might have been only a day. But nothing worth having comes in a moment. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment With some incredible sporting events happening, it got me thinking. Let's start with college football: Texas versus Ohio State. If you watched the first two quarters, you would have thought Texas had absolutely no chance. Ohio State was rolling, and it looked like it was over before halftime. But Texas didn't accept that narrative. They came roaring back in the second half and won 24 to 23 — a one-point victory and the greatest comeback since 2007. Texas didn't wrap it up when the scoreboard said they should. They refused to let the first half write the final chapter. And then there's the US Open. Alexander Zverev won his second Grand Slam title this year after thirty years of working, training, falling short, getting back up, and pressing forward. Thirty years. That's not overnight success — that's a lifetime of showing up. And Ben Shelton, even in defeat, left it all on the court. He dove for a return so hard that his body left a sweat imprint. He literally gave everything he had. Every ounce of effort was poured out on that surface for the world to see. These moments remind us of something we already know deep down. Reaching greatness doesn't come from one big breakthrough. It comes from many single steps compounded together — day after day, week after week, year after year — until the results begin to favor the gifts and talents God placed inside of you. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo So let me ask you this. What have you recently claimed as done? What have you called a wrap? Maybe it's a degree you finished. A business you launched. A prayer that was answered. A season you survived. And you're standing on the other side thinking, okay, now what? Your wrap is your launch! The K.I.S.S. ~ Your wrap is your launch! Maybe this is the time you can look at it differently. Maybe what feels like the end is actually the starting line for what comes next. Celebrate, then recalibrate. Take time to thank God for what He brought you through. Acknowledge the victory. Write it down so you remember His faithfulness. But don't pitch a tent there. Ask Him, "Lord, what are You preparing me for next?" Celebration without direction becomes complacency. Review the replay. Just like a coach breaks down game film, look back at what you learned during the journey. What strengths did you discover? What did the struggle reveal about your character? The lessons from the last season are the equipment for the next one. Don't leave them on the field. Take one step forward today. You don't need the entire next plan mapped out. You just need the next step. Zverev didn't win two Grand Slams by plotting thirty years ahead — he won by showing up for today's practice, today's match, today's moment. Ask God to show you the one thing you can do right now, and do it. God did not bring you this far to leave you standing still. What you just accomplished was never the finish line — it was preparation. Every answered prayer, every closed chapter, every mountain you climbed has made you stronger, wiser, and more equipped for the purpose He is unfolding in your life. And that's not a wrap. That's just a warm-up. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 174184 Come and SeeThere are seasons in life when the darkness feels closer than it should. When the weight of what you're walking through presses in from every side and you start to wonder if the light you once felt so sure of is still there. Maybe it's grief. Maybe it's uncertainty. Maybe it's a weariness that has settled so deeply into your bones that you can't remember what rest feels like. Wherever you are right now, whatever shadow has crept into the edges of your story, do something simple and holy — come and see. Come and see that the light has not gone out. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday John 1:5 tells us, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Not that the darkness tried and failed once, long ago. Not that the darkness might lose someday. The darkness has not overcome it. Present tense. Ongoing. Undefeated. Right now, in the middle of whatever you are facing, the light is still shining. It has never stopped. But sometimes we have to reposition ourselves to see it. When you've been sitting in a dark room long enough, your eyes adjust. The darkness starts to feel normal. Comfortable, even. And when someone cracks the door and lets light pour in, your first instinct isn't relief — it's to squint. To turn away. To shield yourself from something that feels too bright, too exposing, too much. That's what the enemy counts on. Not that you'll reject the light outright, but that you'll get so accustomed to the dark that the light feels foreign. But God says, come and see. Come closer. Let your eyes adjust to this instead. The K.I.S.S. ~ Come and see! When Philip found Nathanael in John 1:46 and told him about Jesus, Nathanael was skeptical. His response was essentially, "Can anything good come from there?" And Philip didn't argue. He didn't debate. He simply said, "Come and see." That invitation changed everything. Not because Philip had all the answers, but because he knew that encountering Jesus firsthand would do what no argument ever could. That same invitation is for you today. You don't need to have it all figured out before you step toward the light. You don't need to clean yourself up, sort through your doubts, or muster some superhuman faith. You just need to come. Come tired. Come broken. Come skeptical if that's where you are. But come. Because here's what the darkness doesn't want you to know — it has no power over the light. None. Darkness is not the opposite of light in some evenly matched battle. Darkness is simply the absence of light. The moment light enters, darkness has to leave. It doesn't get a vote. It doesn't get to negotiate. It flees. Every single time. And the light that lives inside of you — the Spirit of the living God — is the same light that spoke the universe into existence. The same light that split the Red Sea and walked out of a sealed tomb. That light doesn't flicker because your circumstances are hard. It doesn't dim because your faith feels small. 2 Corinthians 4:6 says, "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ." The light isn't just around you. It is in you. Planted there by a God who knew you would face dark seasons and refused to let you walk through them alone. So stop staring at the darkness, sweet friend. Stop measuring its size, its depth, its reach. It wants your attention because your attention is the only power it has. Instead, turn your face toward the One who is the Light of the World. Let Him illuminate what the darkness has been trying to hide — that you are loved, that you are held, that your story is not over, and that the very best part is still being written by a God who makes all things new. Come and see. The light is shining. It always has been. And it always will be. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 184183 Don't Let the Calendar Replace the ConnectionYou married your best friend. You chose each other. And somewhere along the way, the life you're building together started pulling you apart — not because the love faded, but because everything else got louder. You're not fighting. You're not even frustrated with each other most days. You're just missing each other; sitting in the same house but living in different rhythms. And that quiet distance? It didn't happen because of one bad day. It happened one full week at a time. So when life crowds in on your marriage, don't let the calendar replace the connection. However, the biggest threat to most marriages isn't an affair. It isn't a blowout argument or even falling out of love. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage It's the slow, quiet drift that happens when two people are so consumed with doing life that they forget to do life together. Busyness has a way of disguising itself as devotion. We tell ourselves we're doing all of this for the family — the carpools, the meal prep, the volunteering, the overtime — and we are. But if we're honest, sometimes we're so poured out for everyone else that the person who stood across from us and said "I do" gets whatever is left. And "whatever is left" is usually not much. It's not intentional. That's the sneaky part. Nobody wakes up and says, "I think I'll neglect my marriage today." It happens one overbooked week at a time. One missed dinner together. One more night of falling asleep before your head even hits the pillow. And then weeks turn into months, and months turn into seasons, and suddenly you're living as roommates managing a household instead of partners building a life. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." But here's the thing — you have to be close enough to catch each other. If you're both running in opposite directions all day, every day, who's there to help the other up when they stumble? Proximity matters. Not just physical proximity, but emotional and spiritual closeness. The kind that only comes from intentional time, even when time feels like the one thing you don't have. Please know that I'm not talking about neglecting your responsibilities. I'm not saying drop the ball on your commitments. What I'm saying is that your marriage is one of your commitments — and it deserves a spot on that calendar too. Not the leftovers. Not the margins. A real, protected, non-negotiable spot. The K.I.S.S. ~ Protect the spark in the busy season! What boundaries do you have to protect your marriage now? And remember, those boundaries aren't about keeping the bad stuff away. It's about putting each other first and making it a priority too. So how do we do that? How do we keep the spark alive when the schedule is screaming for every last ounce of our attention? 1. Schedule each other before you schedule everything else. This might sound unromantic, but hear me out. If date night isn't on the calendar, it doesn't exist. Sit down together — even for ten minutes — at the start of each week and block out time that belongs to the two of you. It doesn't have to be fancy. A walk after the kids are in bed. Coffee on the porch before the morning rush. Thirty minutes with phones put away. The point isn't perfection — it's priority. When your spouse sees that they made the calendar before the committee meeting did, that speaks volumes. 2. Replace one "how was your day" with one real question. We get into autopilot with our conversations. The same surface-level exchange every evening that checks a box but doesn't build a bridge. Challenge yourself to ask one question that goes deeper. "What's weighing on you right now?" "What made you smile today?" "Is there something I can take off your plate this week?" These small shifts in conversation create openings for the kind of intimacy that busyness tries to steal. You'd be amazed at what happens when your spouse feels genuinely seen and not just scheduled around. 3. Guard your "us" from the guilt of slowing down. This is the one nobody talks about. So many women — especially faith-driven, purpose-filled women — feel guilty for pausing. There's always more to do, more to give, more to serve. But pouring into your marriage is not selfish. It is stewardship. God gave you this covenant relationship, and tending to it is an act of obedience, not indulgence. Give yourself permission to say no to something good so you can say yes to something essential. Your marriage is essential. The calendar will always be full. There will always be another season of busy right around the bend. But your marriage doesn't have to be a casualty of a life well-lived. It can be the heartbeat of a life well-lived — if you protect it. The spark doesn't need a vacation or a grand gesture to stay lit. It needs your attention. Your presence. Your willingness to look at the person beside you and say, "You still matter more than all of this." So tonight, put the planner down. Close the laptop. Turn toward each other instead of turning in for the night. Because the most important thing on your calendar will never actually be on your calendar. It's the love that makes everything else worth doing. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 194182 Listening Is LoveIt's not that unheard of to want to explain everything to your children. We carry decades of life behind us, and we think if we can just say the right thing at the right time, we can spare them the pain. But regardless of their age and stage of life, what they need is your presence. Not your lecture. Not your five-point plan. Your presence; listening is love. You don't have to have all the answers. You don't have to be the problem-solver every single time. What they need from you is ears to hear. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent Proverbs 18:13 tells us, "To answer before listening — that is folly and shame." And yet how often do we jump in before they've even finished their sentence? Maybe you've been the mama who interrupts. The mama who hears the first three words and thinks she already knows the rest. The mama who turns a conversation into a coaching session nobody signed up for. And every time you do, you watch your child pull back just a little. Not because they don't love you, but because they don't feel heard. Your child doesn't need you to fix it. They need you to sit with them in it. When they come to you with something heavy, something confusing, something that doesn't even seem like a big deal to you but is their whole world right now — the most loving response isn't an answer. It's attention. James 1:19 says, "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." Quick to listen. That means listening comes first. Before the advice, before the correction, before the "well, when I was your age" — we listen. Please hear your child. The K.I.S.S. ~ H.E.A.R. your child! How do you interact with your children typically now? So how do we get better at this? How do we shift from fixing mode to listening mode? H — HOLD space without filling it. When your child comes to you, resist the urge to immediately respond. Let there be silence. Let them gather their thoughts. Your quiet presence tells them, "You are safe here, and what you have to say matters." Hold the space open even when it feels uncomfortable. E — ENGAGE with eye contact and full attention. Put the phone down. Close the laptop. Turn your body toward them. These small physical shifts communicate something words never could — that they are your priority in this moment. Engagement is not passive; it is an intentional act of love. A — ACKNOWLEDGE their feelings before offering perspective. Before you say a single word of advice, name what you see. "That sounds really frustrating." "I can tell this matters to you." "That must have been hard." Acknowledgment doesn't mean agreement — it means you see them. And being seen is one of the deepest needs of the human heart. R — RESPOND with questions, not solutions. Instead of jumping to "here's what you should do," try "what do you think you want to do?" or "how did that make you feel?" Questions invite them deeper into their own process. They build critical thinking, confidence, and trust — and they keep the door open for more conversations to come. Mama, I know it's hard. Every part of you wants to jump in and shield them from the hurt. But some of the most powerful moments in your child's life will be the ones where you said nothing at all — and they felt everything. Your children are not looking for a perfect parent. They are looking for a present one. One who shows up, sits down, and says with everything in her, "I'm here. I'm listening. And I love you." - 204181 The Heat Is OnThere are moments in life when everything feels like it's pressing in — the deadlines, the demands, the weight of expectations, and the relentless pace that never seems to slow down. And right in the middle of all of it, you realize something: the heat is on. Not just the kind that comes from outside pressure, but the kind that rises from within, the fire that tells you it's time to move, to grow, to step into the fullness of who you are and who you are created to be. No matter what happens in your day, at some point you have to be willing to go the extra mile, play full out, and do whatever it takes. That's not a statement about perfection. That's a statement about posture — the way you show up when things get uncomfortable, uncertain, and yes, hot. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation Because let's be honest, growth doesn't happen in the easy seasons. It happens when you're being refined, when you feel the pressure, and when you make the decision to keep going anyway. Think about gold for a moment. Gold doesn't become pure by sitting on a shelf. It goes through fire. The heat removes impurities and reveals what was always there—something strong, something beautiful, something of tremendous value. That's exactly what's happening in your life right now. The heat you feel isn't meant to destroy you. It's meant to refine you. Proverbs 17:3 reminds us, "The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart." He already knows what's inside of you. The fire is simply bringing it to the surface so you can see it too. You can do it, but you have to be willing to put in the work when no one is looking, stand for what matters to you with integrity, and learn how to take it to the next level. That means showing up in the quiet moments — the early mornings, the late nights, the behind-the-scenes hours where nobody is clapping and nobody is watching. That's where your character is built. That's where your faith is deepened. And that's where your next level is born. It's easy to perform when the lights are on, and the crowd is cheering. But what about when the room is empty? What about when you're tired, discouraged, and wondering if any of it even matters? That's when your "why" has to be bigger than your "I don't feel like it." That's when you dig your heels in and remind yourself that you are not doing this for applause. You're doing it because there is a calling on your life, and that calling doesn't take a day off just because you're having a hard one. The K.I.S.S. ~ The heat is on! Standing with integrity means you don't cut corners when nobody's checking. It means your yes is yes and your no is no. It means the woman people see in public is the same woman who exists behind closed doors. And when you live that way — when you let your actions match your words, and your faith match your feet — you create something that pressure can never crush. You create a life built on solid ground. Taking it to the next level doesn't always look like a giant leap. Sometimes it's one small, intentional step forward. Sometimes it's choosing discipline over distraction. Sometimes it's opening your Bible instead of scrolling your phone. Sometimes it's having the hard conversation instead of avoiding it. Every one of those choices adds up, and before you know it, you've moved mountains — not all at once, but one faithful step at a time. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo So yes, the heat is on. But you are made for this. You were not designed to melt under pressure. You were designed to be refined by it. Let the fire do its work. Let it burn away the doubt, the fear, the "I'm not good enough" lies that try to hold you back. What's left when the flames settle is the real you — bold, purposeful, and unstoppable. Yes, the heat may be on, but so is your greatness. Go create your now! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 214180 The Soil No One Talks AboutPeople will tell you about the blooming, the breakthrough, and the moment they finally stepped into the calling God placed on their life, where everything clicks because He has been planning it all along. But nobody really talks about the soil no one talks about — the stuff underneath the surface that made the bloom possible in the first place. The seasons that felt more like a burial than planting. The prayers that seemed to bounce off the ceiling. The plans you laid out in good faith that God, in His gentle sovereignty, folded up and tucked away. The ground became fertile. It became soft. It became the kind of earth that could actually receive a seed and do something with it. Your life works the same way. The grief you carried when a relationship didn't survive. The disappointment that sat on your chest when a door closed you were sure God had opened. The quiet ache of a season that simply didn't turn out the way you asked Him for, not because He wasn't listening, but because He was building something you couldn't see from where you were standing. Romans 8:28 tells us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." All things. Not just the beautiful things. Not just the breakthrough things. The hard things. The composted things. The seasons that felt like they were falling apart. God was always working. I think about this sometimes when I look at the woman I'm becoming and try to trace the line back. And you know what I find? The steadiest, most rooted parts of who I am today didn't come from the easy seasons. They came from the ones I wouldn't wish on anyone. The ones where I had to surrender a dream I'd been holding so tightly my knuckles were white. The ones where I cried out, "God, I don't understand," and the only answer I got was, "Trust Me." And here's the thing about that kind of trust — it doesn't feel holy in the moment. It feels like loss. It feels like giving up. But surrender and giving up are not the same thing, and you need to hold that distinction close to your heart today. Giving up says, "There's nothing left." Surrender says, "I'm placing this in hands bigger than mine." One is an ending. The other is an offering. Isaiah 61:3 speaks of God giving us "a crown of beauty instead of ashes." It's the whole thing of "instead of." That means the ashes have to exist first. The burnt-down thing has to be acknowledged. You can't trade in what you refuse to name. So let it feed the ground. The K.I.S.S. ~ Let it feed the ground! All the stuff that you didn't think mattered actually does in the long run. And God is there putting all the puzzle pieces together. So here's a question for you today, my friend — what are you carrying that you haven't yet released into the soil? ACKNOWLEDGE one loss, disappointment, or surrendered expectation that you've been carrying without processing. Don't overdramatize it. Don't minimize it. Just name it — to yourself and to God. "This is what I carried. This is what it cost me." PRAY over it — not to get it back, but to release it into God's hands as soil for what's coming. You might say something like, "Lord, I don't fully understand why this season happened, but I trust that You waste nothing. Take this and make the ground ready." JOURNAL one sentence that begins with: "Because of that season, I now know..." Let that sentence surprise you. Let it show you what was composting beneath the surface all along — strength, wisdom, compassion, clarity — gifts that only grow in that kind of soil. The woman you are becoming is not in spite of those hard seasons. She is, in many ways, because of them. Not because the pain was good, but because God is good — and He knows exactly how to turn broken-down things into the richest ground your life has ever known. You are not buried beneath your burdens. You are planted. And the soil beneath you — every surrendered plan, every composted dream, every tear that watered ground you couldn't yet see — is doing exactly what it was meant to do. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 224179 Set the Pace for Your Daily RaceHave you ever watched a tennis match and noticed the winner isn't always the one hitting the hardest? Sometimes it's the one who knows when to slow down, when to push forward, and when to reset between points. With the US Open in full swing right now, there's no better time to be reminded that the way we approach our daily lives mirrors what's happening on those courts in Flushing Meadows. It's time to set the pace for your daily race — not someone else's, not the world's, but the one God specifically designed for you. Tennis is a game of rhythm. Every elite player has a routine between points — a breath, a bounce of the ball, a moment of stillness before the next serve. That rhythm isn't random. It's intentional. It's how they stay grounded when the crowd is roaring, and the scoreboard isn't in their favor. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation And your life works the same way. When you wake up each morning, you have a choice: let the chaos of the day dictate your tempo, or set your own pace before your feet even hit the floor. Proverbs 16:9 tells us, "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." There's such beauty in that truth. You get to plan. You get to prepare. You get to set your pace. But it's God who directs the outcome. That takes the pressure off, doesn't it? You don't have to sprint through every hour trying to control every result. You just have to show up, stay in the rally, and trust that He's ordering your steps even when the match feels like it's slipping away. As I was watching the finals of Round 16, Swiatek vs. Zheng had a very interesting start to their match. Swiatek started out strong with Zheng falling behind to the point of 5 - 1 respectively. But it was a moment when Swiatek was serving for the match, and Zheng broke back, again and again and again. Soon, with games in totaling 6 in a row; Zheng took the first set. In a brief moment, the entire match shifted. What I love about watching competitors at this level is that they've learned something most of us are still wrestling with — you cannot win every single point. You're going to double-fault. You're going to send one wide. But the champions don't let one lost point become a lost game, and they don't let a lost set become a lost match. They reset. They breathe. They refocus. And then they step back up to the line. The K.I.S.S. ~ Set the pace for your daily race! How many of us lose one "point" in our day — a sharp word with our spouse, a missed deadline, a moment of impatience with our kids — and suddenly we've written the whole day off? We tell ourselves, "Well, today's ruined. I'll try again tomorrow." But that's not how pacing works. Pacing means you give yourself grace in the moment, recalibrate, and keep going. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that His mercies are new every morning — but I believe they're also new every moment. You don't have to wait for a new day to start fresh. You can start fresh right now, in this very breath. Setting your pace also means knowing what drains you and what fuels you. A tennis player knows exactly how to manage energy across a five-set match. She's not going to give everything she has in the first game and have nothing left for the third set. She's strategic. She conserves where she can so she can pour out where it matters most. Y our life needs that same wisdom. Not every email needs an immediate response. Not every invitation needs a yes. Not every battle needs your energy today. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is hold steady, stay in position, and wait for the right moment to swing. Paul understood this when he wrote in 1 Corinthians 9:24, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." He wasn't talking about beating everyone around you. He was talking about running with purpose, with discipline, with intention. Your daily race isn't against your neighbor or your coworker or that woman on social media whose life looks like a highlight reel. Your race is between you and the woman God is calling you to become. And you get to set the pace. So this week, as the US Open crowns its champions and the world watches athletes push themselves to the edge of what's possible, let it be a reminder. You are also in a match. Your court might be your kitchen table, your office desk, or the carpool lane — but it's yours. Own it. Set the rhythm. Breathe between the points. And trust that the God who placed you in this race has already equipped you to finish it well. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 234178 Laboring For What LastsThere's something beautifully ironic about Labor Day. It's the one day of the year when we're told to stop laboring — to set down the to-do list, fire up the grill, and just breathe. But as the burgers sizzle and the kids splash in the last pool days of summer, a quiet question has a way of surfacing: What am I really working for? Today, as we celebrate the gift of rest, let's talk about Laboring for What Lasts — and why the answer to that question shapes everything. Jesus said it plainly in Matthew 6:21 (NIV): "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #MindsetMonday#CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment That verse isn't just about money. It's about the whole of your life — your time, your energy, your love, your attention. Every single day, you are investing those resources somewhere. The question is: Where? Think about your average week. Where do the hours go? Where does your emotional energy land? Are you pouring into the things that grow your faith, strengthen your family, and build the kind of life God designed you to live? Or have the demands of the world slowly redirected your investment into things that feel urgent but aren't eternal? This isn't about guilt. This is about awareness. Because when you're aware, you can realign. And that's where Labor Day becomes more than just a holiday — it becomes an invitation. See, Labor Day was created to honor the dignity of work. And that's a beautiful thing. God Himself is a worker. He created the heavens and the earth, and then He rested. He modeled it for us — purposeful labor followed by intentional rest. Not hustle followed by collapse. Not striving followed by burnout. Purposeful labor. Intentional rest. There's a rhythm to it, and when we honor that rhythm, we position ourselves to hear from Him more clearly. The K.I.S.S. ~ Laboring for what lasts! So how does this holiday fit into the bigger picture of living the life God desires for you? It fits because it forces the pause. And in the pause, you get to ask the hard questions. Am I laboring for what lasts? Am I investing my treasure — my time, my love, my resources — in the places where God has called me? Or have I been so busy building that I forgot to check the blueprint? You get to choose how you show up in your life. So don't sit on the sidelines; get in the game of life. Conduct a Treasure Audit. Before this week ends, sit down with a pen and paper and honestly map out where your time and energy went over the past seven days. Not where you wish they went — where they actually went. Compare that map to the life God has called you to live. Where are the gaps? Where are the alignments? Awareness is the first step toward realignment. Establish One "Kingdom Priority" This Week. Choose one area — your marriage, your children, your health, your ministry, your community — and commit to investing in it with the same intention you bring to your job. Schedule it. Protect it. Treat it like the non-negotiable it is. When your calendar reflects your calling, your heart follows. Build Rest into Your Rhythm. Labor Day is one day. But God's design for rest isn't a once-a-year event — it's a weekly practice. Identify one consistent day or time block each week where you stop producing and start receiving. Rest isn't laziness. Rest is trust. It says, "God, I believe You are big enough to handle what I set down." Here's the beautiful thing about all of this — when you labor for what lasts, you don't end up exhausted. You end up fulfilled. There's a difference between being tired from running in circles and being tired from running your race. One leaves you empty. The other leaves you expectant, because you know that the work you're doing has a purpose far beyond what you can see. So this Labor Day, yes — enjoy the cookout. Soak up the laughter. Rest well and rest fully. But as you do, let that rest reset your compass. Let it remind you that the most important work you'll ever do isn't measured in promotions or paychecks. It's measured in faithfulness. It's measured in where your treasure lands. You were made for more than busy. You were made for purposeful. And the life God desires for you? It's waiting on the other side of that realignment. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 244177 Notice God's GoodnessThere is a rhythm to our days that we rarely stop long enough to notice. We wake, we push, we strive, and we do it all over again. We wrap ourselves around careers, achievements, milestones, and ambitions so tightly that we forget whose we are and who we belong to. But what if this weekend, during this beautiful pause, it became the moment you chose to notice God's goodness? God did not create us to chase all the earthly things. He did not breathe life into us so we could spend every waking moment climbing ladders and collecting accolades. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday He created us because He wants a relationship with us, and He wants us to adopt that same desire — a longing for Him that outweighs every title, every trophy, and every milestone we could ever reach. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." His plans were never about the hustle. His plans have always been about the heart. Yet somehow, the strengths He gave us become weapons we use in battles He never intended. We find ourselves fighting with career colleagues, competing with classmates, measuring ourselves against siblings, keeping score with spouses, and even pushing back against the very parents who raised us — all so we can be better, do more, and attain whatever goals we have set our sights on. We take the gifts God placed in our hands and use them to grasp at things that were never meant to satisfy us. 1 John 2:15-17 speaks to this tension: "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them." That is not a warning meant to shame us. It is an invitation to redirect our gaze. The K.I.S.S. ~ Notice God's goodness! Think about the people in your life right now — the ones you have been competing with or comparing yourself to. What if they are not your opponents at all? What if they are part of the goodness God has placed around you? The colleague who challenges you may be sharpening you. The sibling who frustrates you may be teaching you patience. The spouse who sees things differently may be stretching your capacity to love. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." When we stop seeing others as obstacles and start seeing them as part of God's divine design, everything shifts. This holiday weekend, let us not only rest from work but rest from the striving. Let us take a breath deep enough to feel the peace that has been waiting for us all along. Psalm 46:10 whispers, "Be still, and know that I am God." Stillness is where we hear Him. Stillness is where we remember that we do not have to earn His love, fight for His attention, or prove our worth. He already decided we were worth everything. Rest is not laziness. Rest is worship. It is a declaration that we trust God enough to stop doing and simply start being — being present, being grateful, being aware of the goodness that surrounds us even in ordinary moments. The sunrise you almost missed. The laughter of someone you love. The fact that your lungs filled with air this morning without you having to think about it. That is His goodness. It has been there all along, waiting to be noticed. So as you move through this weekend, let your heart be a little softer and your grip on the world a little looser. You were not made for the race. You were made for the relationship. And when you slow down long enough to notice God's goodness, you will find that He has been noticing you all along. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
