  1. 3133888 Capture the Moment, Not PerfectionWhen life takes over, it has a way of swallowing your heart and demanding your head show up instead. We're wired to want control—to have everything in order, to anticipate and prevent the unexpected. It feels safer that way. But as a parent, the more you chase perfection, the more you miss the raw, imperfect, priceless moments that really define your relationship with your child. Capture the moment, not perfection. Let's be honest: no family runs on a flawless schedule. Kids don't come with a manual or a "perfect moment" alert. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com And messing up or missing a beat isn't a sign of failure—it's an invitation to something deeper. So instead of trying to capture every perfect snapshot, how about capturing the moment itself—the unfiltered laughter, the messy hugs, the chaos that, years later, you'll realize was the real picture of love. Parents, here's the truth: you don't have to be overwhelmed by trying to raise a "perfect" child perfectly. You can step out of that prison of expectation by choosing unconditional love and presence instead. The K.I.S.S. ~ Capture the moments: be present! Here are three actionable ways to be present so you can truly capture the moments that matter. 1. Put the Phone Down—Fully When your mind or your thumbs are scrolling, your heart is elsewhere. Being present means actually showing up—no distractions, no multitasking. It's about looking your child in the eyes during dinner, listening to their stories without planning your next response, and just being there. Yes, the world demands attention, but your child's moment deserves more. 2. Accept Imperfection as the New Normal Stop fighting the inevitable chaos, noise, and mess. When you relax your grip on "perfect," you make room for what's real. That spilled juice, the missed bedtime, the unplanned tantrum? They're not failures; they're the flavor of life you'll one day miss. Remember, presence doesn't require perfection—it requires acceptance. 3. Create Small Rituals That Anchor You Together Rituals don't have to be big or Instagram-worthy. It can be a bedtime story, a five-minute hug before school, or a silly dance in the kitchen. Rituals signal "I'm here, you're not alone," and root both of you in the now instead of the "what if." These simple acts invite connection and make moments unforgettable. Capturing the moment is about choosing love and presence over pressure and plans. It's about being messy, human, and fully engaged—even when life feels anything but perfect. Parents who make this choice don't just survive the chaos—they create the memories that last a lifetime. You've got a choice today: chase an impossible ideal or lean into the beautifully imperfect life you're living. I know which one will fill you up. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 💍 The Christmas Ring by Karen Kingsbury: (https://karenkingsbury.com) 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 2. 3143887 Action Detangles ChaosChaos feels like a storm that drowns out everything else — your dreams, your confidence, your clarity. When life tosses curveballs, it's easy to fixate on what you can't do, what slipped through your fingers, or what's falling apart. But what you can't do doesn't define you. Holding on to those failures or limitations only keeps you stuck in the mud, blinding you to where your power really lies. Action detangles chaos. So stop. Drop the weight of what's beyond your control. That's not where your focus belongs. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Your energy should go to what you can do—today, right now, in this moment. It's in those small, deliberate steps that the chaos begins to fade, revealing the possibilities underneath. Look for the openings the mess leaves behind. Maybe it's a new skill you've never tried, a relationship you can repair, or simply the attitude shift that says, "I'm still standing, and I still have choices." The storm isn't permanent. And neither is the paralysis that comes with overwhelm. The K.I.S.S. ~ Action detangles chaos! The truth is, strength isn't about never falling. It's about the courage to stand back up every time. To embrace what's in your power, even if it feels tiny. Because those small wins compound. They reclaim your momentum. They carve a path forward when everything else seems impossible. You got this. The chaos around you is fierce, but your resolve can be more ferocious. Go after what you you! Focus on what you can control, and watch how the impossible starts to look a little less scary. It's not about perfection. It's about progress—and the unwillingness to give up on yourself when it matters most. Keep moving. Keep fighting. Keep showing up. Because that's the real definition of strength—and hope. "Be present. Be incredible. 3. 3153886 Tip the ScalesThe holidays hit your healthy living like a wrecking ball. Sweet desserts, salty snacks, savory feasts—your taste buds get a nonstop assault that leaves them confused and craving more. Add the shorter days and the time change, and suddenly the daily walk feels like climbing Everest after a long day packed with endless commitments. Healthy living during the holidays can feel impossible. But you can still tip the scales. Not just for a quick win, but to build a lifestyle that carries you through the seasons. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Where Are You Right Now? Before you start stacking new habits or chasing perfect routines, stop and take a clear-eyed look at where you are. Too many people try to move mountains when they're actually standing in a valley. Maybe you're tired, off your routine, overwhelmed by social events, or simply don't know where to begin. That's okay—but until you're honest about your starting point, any plan you follow will be a shot in the dark. So ask yourself: What's working? What's not? What do I actually have control over today? That clarity gives you the leverage to tip the scales in your favor. The K.I.S.S. ~ Tip the S.C.A.L.E.S.! Scale It — An Acronym for Holiday Health Wins Think of S.C.A.L.E.S. as a toolkit to nudge your habits in a healthier direction that sticks well beyond the holiday frenzy. S — Simplify Your Goals Forget all-or-nothing. Your goals during the holidays don't have to be massive. Commit to small, clear actions like drinking one extra glass of water a day or taking a five-minute dance break between commitments. These micro-habits add up. C — Choose Movement That Fits You You don't have to hit the gym hard or clock miles on a treadmill. Walk around your neighborhood, play with your kids, try a quick stretch session. It doesn't have to be over the top. Movement is movement—and even small bursts will help your energy and mindset. A — Acknowledge Your Cravings, Then Shift Cravings don't vanish with sheer willpower. Notice them, don't shame yourself, and then redirect. If you want something sweet, grab a piece of fruit or dark chocolate instead of a sugar bomb. If salty comes on you out of the blue, snack on nuts or air-popped popcorn. L — Lean Into Support Healthy living isn't done in a vacuum. Align with friends or family who want similar wins. Share your intentions and encourage accountability. Plus, chatting with someone who "gets it" makes the journey less lonely and more fun. E — Eat With Intention Holiday meals wreck your metabolism when you eat distracted, rush, or scroll on your phone. Become mindful. Savor each bite. Put your fork down between bites. This simple shift can help you avoid overeating and deepen your enjoyment. S — Schedule Self-Care You're the engine that runs your life's mission. Without refueling your body and mind, you stall. Block out time for sleep, meditation, or just breathing deeply. Protect these moments fiercely. The Bigger Picture The real benefit of healthy living isn't just slipping into your jeans or shedding holiday weight. It's not just about looking good for the pictures. It's about showing up for your life's mission. Your work, your relationships, your purpose—they all need you operating at your best. If you're stuck in bed with burnout or trapped by illness, none of what you want is possible. The health habits you build today tip the scales tomorrow, where your dreams are not held hostage by exhaustion or pain. Celebrate Without Sabotage Yes, enjoy the holidays. Eat the pie. Laugh with family. Sip the eggnog. But do it with awareness. You're not depriving yourself; you're choosing to tip the scales toward strength, clarity, and vitality. The choice is yours. This season, don't let the chaos knock you sideways. Start where you are, use the S.C.A.L.E.S. toolkit, and inch your way toward better living—not just for today but every day. You've got what it takes. Now tip those scales. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 💍 The Christmas Ring by Karen Kingsbury: (https://karenkingsbury.com) 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 4. 3163885 Simplicity Is EnoughWe live in a culture that glorifies complexity and chaos—complicated schedules, endless goals, nonstop hustle. Yet, most of that noise isn't helping you. You're beating yourself up for what you don't have, tangled in past disappointments, and paralyzed by fear that's mostly imagined. None of that moves the needle. What if, for just one moment, you accepted that simplicity is enough? Imagine stripping away the must-dos, the overwhelm, the fears, and the doubts. Too often, though, we create monsters in our heads, just like we did when we were little and the monsters were under the bed. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com But these monsters aren't imaginary anymore. They're real enough to freeze your progress, to make you question your worth, your direction, your next move. And that's exactly why you have to stop feeding them. Instead, what if you just figured out what you want? Not the whole grand vision laid out in perfect detail, but the one next small step that nudges you forward. Not a giant leap that crushes your confidence, but a little tip-toe that says, "I'm in." Too often, we let our brains turn "next steps" into an immovable mountain. We pile on what-if scenarios, worst-case fears, and doubts that spiral out of control. But there's a secret. Progress doesn't require tearing down the mountain all at once. It just requires that one first pebble be shifted. What if you paused long enough to try that small new action? What if you let go of the need to solve everything right now and turned your attention to the simple beauty around you? The steady breath, the sound of birds, the quiet moments before the day starts—these are the anchors in chaos. The K.I.S.S. ~ Simplicity is enough! Life will always throw the unpredictable at you. There will be things outside your control. But losing control? That's a choice. You hold power in how you respond, how you break down challenges into something manageable instead of monsters. Today, let simplicity be your strategy. Pick one small task—one thing that will create a ripple effect—and commit to it. This is the mark of real forward movement, the power of incremental gains that add up. It's like taking a minute that stretches into an hour of focused presence—and in that presence, real magic happens. Not because you see all your future wins, but because you show up fully in the here and now. Yesterday, you rushed. Today, slow down to speed up. See the beauty inside the chaos. Make your mark from a place of calm, clarity, and courage. Simplicity is enough. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 💍 The Christmas Ring by Karen Kingsbury: (https://karenkingsbury.com) 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 5. 3173884 Running to Stand StillToo much to do and holidays too close, how do you keep up with all of it the most? Every day can get you down when you keep going around. You claim you're busy, but you're just dizzy. Nothing will change until—you stop running to stand still. Why do we keep trying to convince ourselves that we can do everything? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The myth of doing it all drains energy, steals joy, and steals our clarity. It's called busy for a reason—but busy isn't always progress. Sometimes it's just noise. It's absolutely okay to ask for help. It's OK to slow down. It's OK to rest. The real question is: will you? Will you be brave enough to face what's not working? Will you shift course before the burnout knocks you down? Or will you keep pushing full throttle into the end of the year, exhausted, with no clear direction for what comes next? The Illusion of Momentum All too often in these busiest months—from November's scramble through to the new year's fresh beginnings—we confuse motion with progress. You cram your schedule with meetings, projects, social obligations. You double down on multitasking, telling yourself this is how you "handle it all." But the truth is, you might just be running in circles. The more you do, the faster you run, and the less you move forward. This constant pace is a trap. It wears you down emotionally and physically. Your work quality dips, your relationships strain, and your soul starves for meaning. This is why the phrase "running to stand still" isn't just poetic—it's a warning; slow down to speed up. The K.I.S.S. ~ Slow down to S.P.E.E.D. up! SPEED: Five Ways to Slow Down to Speed Up To break free from this dizzying cycle, it's time to adjust your tempo. Here's a practical guide, using SPEED as your roadmap, to help you slow down without losing momentum—especially when the pressure is highest. S — Stop and Assess Before you dive into another task, hit pause. Take five minutes each day this season to look at your whole schedule and goals. Are these activities moving you closer to what matters? For example, instead of saying yes to every holiday invite or extra project at work, ask: "Is this necessary? Does this serve my priorities or just fill my calendar?" Being intentional here saves energy for what counts. P — Prioritize Ruthlessly You can't do everything, nor should you try. Make a list not just of tasks, but of outcomes that truly matter. In the holiday season, that might mean focusing on spending quality time with close family over attending every social event, or choosing three key projects to excel at instead of ten half-done commitments. Prioritizing cuts the noise and clears your path. E — Establish Boundaries Busy seasons tempt us to say yes to all requests—but boundaries protect your well-being and focus. Set limits on work hours, screen time, and social media consumption. Maybe this means turning off email notifications after 7 p.m. or blocking out personal time on your calendar for a quiet walk or journaling. Boundaries aren't selfish; they're strategic. E — Engage Support Remember, asking for help is strength, not weakness. Whether it's delegating holiday tasks to family members, hiring extra help at work, or simply sharing your challenges with a trusted friend, support changes everything. This season, don't carry every burden alone. Real people, real help, real relief. D — Digest and Reflect At the end of each day or week, take time to reflect. What went well? What drained you? What could be adjusted? This reflection builds awareness and prevents you from slipping back into frantic running. It also allows you to celebrate small wins, which fuels motivation and resilience. When Will You Find Your Right Tempo? Running faster doesn't guarantee progress. Finding the right speed—the tempo that fits your life and goals—does. When you align your pace with purpose, you don't just survive the busy season; you thrive through it. You'll come out clearer, stronger, and ready to step into what's next with confidence. So when will you stop spinning and start moving forward? When will you decide that your time, energy, and peace are worth more than the lie of endless busyness? "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo Each pause, each boundary, each ask for help puts you one step closer to a life where busy no longer means dizzy—but deliberate and driven. You choose. Your move. "Be present. Be incredible. 6. 3183883 For When I Am WeakYour struggle isn't a solo mission. In fact, rest is on the other side of surrender. The apostle Paul writes of this truth in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." Think about it—how quick are we to shout from the rooftops all the things we're good at? Yet when it comes to admitting where we fall short or struggle, we clam up. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Weakness has become a mark of failure or lack, not something to own. But God flips the script: it's through our weakness that His strength shines brightest. Look inward. Where do you feel weak? Or maybe, where do you want to improve but keep hitting walls? That exact place might be your starting line. When you stop trying to muscle through on your own and instead hand your weakness over to God, that's when real strength shows up. Not because of what you can do, but because of what God can do through you. The K.I.S.S. ~ For when I am weak! Philippians 4:13 puts it plainly: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It's not a motivational pep talk—it's a lifeline. Your confidence, your forward momentum, isn't tied up in your skills or willpower. It's rooted in the unshakable strength that Christ offers generously when you lean in. Paul wasn't just being spiritual fluff. He was wrestling with real thorns and struggles, yet he found a reason to be grateful—not for the pain itself, but for whose he was. When you come to that place, your weaknesses don't define you. Jesus does. So challenge yourself: What weakness can you stop fighting against? What struggle can you start handing over? When you do, you'll find that your weakness isn't your downfall—it's the point where God's power moves in and lifts you higher. This is your moment. Rest in the fact that God's grace is enough, and strength will be made perfect because you're weak, not despite it. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 💍 The Christmas Ring by Karen Kingsbury: (https://karenkingsbury.com) 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 7. 3193882 Stepping Toward Each Other When It Hurts MostConflict in marriage isn't just about the argument itself. It's about the distance it creates—the silence, the hurt, the confusion about where "we" stand. Coming back together after conflict isn't automatic. It requires intentional, courageous steps that go beyond "Let's just forget it" or "Sorry." It's all about stepping toward each other when it hurts most. Every marriage faces its share of conflict and miscommunication. It's not a sign that something is broken beyond repair—it's simply human nature. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com We come into relationships with our own histories, expectations, and emotional triggers. Small misunderstandings escalate when left unaddressed, assumptions fill in the gaps where clarity is missing, and stress from outside life pressures can spill over in ways neither partner intends. Sometimes, a minor disagreement can spiral into silence. Or harsh words cut deeper than anyone expected. You find yourselves wanting to move forward but stuck—wondering how to rebuild, how to reconnect when everything feels raw and fragile. That's where the toughest part lies: not just wanting peace, but knowing how to get there. So what can a spouse do when the distance after a fight seems too wide? The K.I.S.S. ~ Rebuild the bridge! You can fix what is broken, but only the parts that you control. 1. Own Your Part Without Defensiveness Conflict is never one-sided. When emotions run high, it's tempting to protect yourself by pointing fingers or justifying your actions. But healing begins when you bravely step back and own your role—not with excuses, but with honesty. This doesn't mean taking all the blame; it means acknowledging how your words or actions contributed to the pain. Saying, "I'm sorry for how I hurt you," rather than, "I'm sorry you feel that way," is powerful. It lowers defenses, breaks down walls, and signals willingness to bridge the gap. When you own your part, you invite your partner to do the same—not with judgment, but with empathy. This creates a safe space where real conversations can grow, and healing can begin. 2. Ask Deep Questions—Listen to Understand, Not to Respond After a conflict, it's easy to get caught replaying your version of the story in your head—and mentally preparing your next point. But what your partner really needs is to be heard, not debated. Try asking thoughtful, open-ended questions that invite your spouse to share their feelings and needs. For instance: "What was going through your mind during our argument?" "How did what I said or did affect you?" "What do you need from me so we can move forward?" Then, listen deeply. That means resisting the urge to interrupt or defend yourself. Listen to understand the emotional experience behind their words. When your partner feels genuinely understood, it breeds connection—not defensiveness—and that shared understanding is the bridge back. 3. Rebuild Connection Through Small Acts of Care Big apologies or grand gestures alone won't restore what's lost after conflict. What heals most is consistent, small acts that show you're present and invested. It could be something as simple as making their favorite cup of coffee, sending a heartfelt text during the day, or suggesting a walk together without distractions. These moments remind both of you that, beyond the disagreement, you're a team that cares deeply. Consistency is key. When your spouse sees you making an effort day after day, they begin to trust that the connection will hold—even when times get tough. Conflict Isn't the End—it Can Be the Start of Something Stronger Conflict doesn't have to fracture your marriage. In fact, it can reveal cracks that, when addressed with courage and care, lead to greater intimacy and understanding. Stepping toward each other when it hurts most isn't easy. It requires humility, patience, and intentionality. But every relationship worth fighting for deserves that effort. So when you feel stuck, remember this: not all conflicts lead to the end. Often, they lead to the chance to come back—closer and more connected than before. You just have to take the first step. 8. 3203881 Parents—Stir The Fire!Parenting demands a strong backbone. When the storms of family life rage hardest—temper tantrums, teenage rebellion, mounting stress—it's tempting to shut down or retreat into silence, hoping the problem will just pass. But here's the hard truth: the parents' job is not to run from the heat. It's to stir the fire just enough so real growth can happen. Why? Because your child's greatest lessons don't come from perfect moments or rehearsed speeches. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com They come from raw, real-life experiences—the challenges, the messes, the unexpected curveballs. Your willingness to meet those moments head-on provides your child with a living blueprint for resilience, empathy, and wisdom. Yes, it's true—parenting requires shaking things up. But with intention. Your stories, your lived experiences, your hard-earned insights shouldn't dominate the conversation or become justifications for your actions. Instead, they should be tools to deepen understanding and help your child become their best self. Every stage of your child's journey calls for a sage—a wise, steady guide who's willing to face the challenge rather than run from it. That sage can be you. But only if you refuse to fold when the going gets tough. So stir the fire! The K.I.S.S. ~ Stir the fire! So how can you use your wisdom to stretch and grow your child without turning it all back to you? Here are three critical moves: Listen First, Teach Second The temptation when things get rough is to jump straight into advice or "because I said so" mode. Instead, pause and truly listen to what your child is feeling and experiencing. When they feel heard, they're more open to learning. Your wisdom takes deeper root when it follows understanding, rather than replacing it. Share Your Story with Purpose and Limits Your struggles and past lessons are powerful—but keep them focused. Use your experience to highlight the 'why' behind a boundary or lesson, not as a self-centered tale. Make it about what your child can learn, not a spotlight on your own journey. Challenge with Care, Not Control Growth happens outside comfort zones, but forcing your child into your mold backfires. Invite them to stretch by asking questions, encouraging problem-solving, and allowing room for mistakes. Show confidence in their ability to grow even when they stumble. Remember, parenting isn't about being perfect—it's about being present and brave enough to shake up the status quo. You aren't just raising a kid—you're raising a future adult who needs your steady, wise hand in the fire, not your retreat. So next time the pressure mounts and your instinct says, "Run," remember: Momma doesn't run. She stands, she guides, and she builds a living legacy of strength.  "Be present. Be incredible. 9. 3213880 Find Joy When Life Feels Like A StruggleLife doesn't owe you an easy ride—and let's be honest, it never will. The truth is this: tough weeks are part of the deal. You don't get a pass because you're tired, or because you're giving everything you've got. But while life is relentless, your attitude doesn't have to be. Find joy when life feels like a struggle. Waiting for "perfect" to show up before you allow yourself to smile? That's a losing game. If you put happiness on hold until everything is exactly how you want it, it will never come. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com So why not grab joy wherever you can find it—even if it's wedged between tough days and setbacks? Look at your frown. Now, flip it. No joke, that tiny shift in your face can start shifting your mindset, even if it feels forced at first. That's not fluff—that's your brain starting to fight back against the crap it's been fed. And you? You're incredible for showing up every day, often putting everyone else's needs before your own. The K.I.S.S. ~ Find joy when life feels like a struggle! So today, stop the relentless push and give yourself credit for something. Anything. Folded laundry? That counts. Got through a conversation you dreaded? That counts. Took five minutes to breathe deeply without guilt? That absolutely counts. These small wins are the threads that stitch you back together. Don't let the hard days steal your chance to feel something good. There is genuine joy—even in the middle of crap seasons. Celebrate what's right under your nose, because that's what keeps you moving forward. You're far stronger than the tough week you're facing, and that smile? It's your secret weapon. I promise you—you've got this! "Be present. Be incredible. 10. 3223879 Get Your Head in the GameLiving healthy isn't just about what you eat or how often you move. It's about staying sharp, focused, and fully engaged with your life and your body. But let's be real — when your brain feels like it's juggling 27 open tabs, and none of them are making sense, healthy living feels impossible. Tasks pile up. You start a project and end up lost in a scroll hole. It's not a matter of laziness or a lack of willpower. Your brain is tapped out. So at some point, you've got to get your head in the game! Because if you don't, you'll be overloaded. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com And until you give your body and mind the right tools to function, nothing will change. Let me ask you this: What are you doing now every day to enhance your health? Drinking lots of water Exercising at least 20 minutes, 3x a week Resting more than you complain Eating for fuel rather than fun Reading to grow your mind Whatever stands out that is working for you, it's essential to stick with it.  However, if you want to take your life back from that noisy mental chaos and start showing up fully for your days, establish some basic tools. The K.I.S.S. ~ Establish basic healthy tools! Here are three non-negotiable tools you need: 1. Prioritize Restful Sleep Like Your Life Depends On It Sleep isn't optional. It's the only time your brain declutters, repairs, and resets for peak performance. Without solid sleep, your focus breaks down, and decision fatigue sets in faster than you think. Action step: Create a no-excuses bedtime routine. Turn off screens 60 minutes before bed. Dim the lights. Set a consistent sleep and wake time. Your brain needs deep rest to think clearly again. 2. Feed Your Brain Real Fuel, Not Distractions Sugar spikes, caffeine crashes, and processed junk fuzz your clarity and energy. You are what you eat, and if your brain feels foggy, it's a signal you're starving it or feeding it noise. Action step: Eat balanced meals with protein, healthy fats, and fiber. Hydrate like your brain depends on it — because it does. Avoid mindless snacking and see how much sharper your focus gets. 3. Move With Purpose Every Day Movement clears mental cobwebs faster than a double espresso. Exercise releases brain-boosting chemicals and helps your body handle stress instead of just storing it. Action step: Find any form of movement you tolerate — a walk, stretching, or jumping rope. Do it daily. Even 10 minutes gets your blood flowing and your brain rebooting. The Bottom Line: If your mind feels like a circus with no ringmaster, take stock. You're drowning in overwhelm because you haven't given yourself the tools to thrive. Prioritize rest, feed your brain clean fuel, and move regularly. That's your winning formula. Healthy living isn't complicated, but it demands respect for what your body needs to run like the high-performance machine it's built to be. Stop spinning your wheels. Take control. Give your mind and body the tools to think clearly and live fully again. 11. 3233878 Remove the FilterEvery day, we wear invisible masks—filters shaped by the expectations of others, the pressure to fit in, and the urge to appear flawless. We scroll through highlight reels of perfect lives on social media and wonder why our own feels so ordinary in comparison. So remove the filter. Because if you're living for anyone else's approval, you're not living for yourself. And that leaves you with a life that feels filtered, diluted, and far from authentic. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's time to be courageous. Take a step back and strip away the filter. Highlight reels aren't reality. They are snapshots that hide the struggles, failures, and messiness behind the scenes. When your sense of worth depends on comparing yourself to someone else's best moments, you overlook what's unique and valuable about your own story. The gifts you were born with are not in the glossy moments that get likes—they're in the real, messy, beautiful journey only you can walk. Remove the filter. Look closely at the cracks and crevices in your life—the things that seem out of place or imperfect. Those aren't flaws. They are clues to your growth and potential blessings in disguise. When you stop editing your life to fit a manufactured ideal and start appreciating what's real, you find strength in what you thought was weakness. The K.I.S.S. ~ Remove the filter! What you focus on expands. If you seek validation in other people's highlight reels, you'll feel small and scattered. But if you remove the filter—if you see your life in full color, unvarnished—you'll discover clarity, purpose, and a fierce kind of freedom. Unwind the chaos of everyone else's expectations. Stop living for applause and start living for who you are becoming. No more masquerade balls. No more floundering for attention. No more comparing your "behind the scenes" to someone else's spotlight. No more distractions from your next step. You are created for greatness. Not overnight. Not in leaps and bounds. But one step. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo Harness what God has given you. Take A.I.M.—Action Ignites Motivation. 12. 3243877 When Everything Is Falling ApartLife's storms don't ask for permission. One moment, you're steady; the next, it feels like the ground beneath you is crumbling. Demands from others pile up, your own expectations weigh heavy, and the dozens of responsibilities feel like a relentless avalanche. What do you do when everything is falling apart? You do know that you'll never control every piece of the chaos. Trying to do so only drains your energy and keeps you spinning in place. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Worse, you might know exactly what must be done—but others have pushed you into that tight corner where options feel razor-thin. It's a no-win scenario—but it doesn't have to break you. Life often feels like a downward spiral that somehow continues upward—a relentless cascade without an end in sight. The key question isn't when it will stop, but how you keep your footing while it's all crashing down. You've gotta maintain your peace as it disrupts the chaos. The K.I.S.S. ~ Maintain your peace! Here are three no-nonsense strategies to maintain your peace when nothing else feels stable: Own Your One Thing Right Now Forget the 10 things you think you need to fix today. Identify the one thing in your control—the smallest action that will create some forward motion or ease in the chaos. This singular focus cuts through the noise, giving your brain a break from trying to juggle a hundred fires at once. When everything's on fire, your job isn't to put out all the flames; it's to stop the one that's burning your house down. Create a Boundary Fortress The moment chaos tries to pull you under, build walls—literal or mental—to protect your peace. Say no, delegate, unplug, or step away. Protecting your mental and emotional space isn't selfish; it's strategic. Without these boundaries, the pressure you feel will suffocate any chance of recovery or clear thinking. Even a 10-minute no-distraction bubble can reset your stress thermostat and give you a moment to breathe. Anchor Yourself With Reality—Not Fear Chaos breeds stories your mind concocts—words like "never," "impossible," or "overwhelming." This narrative fuels panic. Instead, anchor yourself with facts: what is true, what you have done so far, and what resources you can lean on. Grounding yourself in reality—not fear or what-if fantasies—creates a stable platform from which you can make decisions. It's not about denying the struggle; it's about refusing to let worst-case scenarios call the shots. As you know, nothing will magically stop the storm, but how you respond will give you the space and clarity to navigate through it. You're not powerless when everything is falling apart. Your peace is your power—guard it fiercely. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 💍 The Christmas Ring by Karen Kingsbury: (https://karenkingsbury.com) 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 13. 3253876 What You Believe, You BecomeLife pulls us in a thousand directions, and the chaos doesn't stop there. Beyond the noise and the things out of our control, there's something more powerful always happening — inside us. What you believe, you become. Too often, we look outside of ourselves — at circumstances, people, or temporary fixes — hoping to fill a void or answer a question only God can satisfy. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com But chasing after the wrong things leaves us empty, restless, and disconnected from the purpose God designed for us. When we buy into lies or the noise of the world, we live those falsehoods, not the truth of who we really are. Let's be real: God wants what's best for you always. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Yet if you keep seeking fulfillment in temporary places, will you genuinely find it? The answer is no. The Biblical Example: The Israelites in the Wilderness Consider the story of the Israelites wandering the wilderness after their escape from Egypt (Exodus 16). The people were meant to trust God's promise to bring them into the Promised Land, a place flowing with milk and honey. Instead, they focused on their present hardships — hunger, thirst, uncertainty — and began to doubt God's provision. They grumbled, believing they were abandoned and doomed to suffer. Their belief shaped their experience. Because they doubted, they became discouraged, fearful, and rebellious. But when God provided manna from heaven, it was not merely food; it was a lesson. He was teaching them to trust in His provision and promises. They literally became what they believed—either trapped in fear and scarcity or walking in faith and provision. The K.I.S.S. ~ What you believe, you become! Hebrews 11:1 reminds us "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."  The Israelites' story challenges us to ask: What are you putting your faith in? Are you living out the promises of God, or the doubts whispered by fear and circumstance? Who Do You Say You Are? This is not just about external events; it's about identity. The Bible commands us to know whose we are—children of God through Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"  Your past failures, fears, and doubts don't define you anymore. What you embrace by faith in Christ shapes your present and future. This truth challenges us to examine our beliefs radically. Do you believe the lie that you are stuck, broken, or unworthy? Or do you believe the truth Jesus speaks: "You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14), chosen, loved, and filled with purpose? You become what you consistently believe. So, who do you choose to believe? Living It Out Full Out Belief isn't passive; it's an active daily choice. To declare God's promises over your life, to dwell on His Word, and to walk in obedience is to become the person He created you to be. Romans 12:2 instructs, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Your mind is the battlefield where belief takes root. What you believe about your identity, your worth, and your future sets the trajectory of your life. Align your belief with God's truth, and you will become a reflection of His glory. You belong to Jesus Christ, and you don't have to settle for the confusion and lies around you. When you anchor yourself in the truth of His Word, what you believe will reshape you. 14. 3263875 Forgotten Treasures in Your MarriageLife pulls you in a thousand directions. Between work, errands, kids, social commitments, and more, it feels like you're stretched thin, barely holding everything together. In moments like these, staying happily married can seem like an impossible task. The easiest escape? Giving up, walking away, or settling for less than you deserve. But before you let frustration win, pause and ask—what about the forgotten treasures in your marriage? Long before the chaos took over, there were sparks, joy, and real connection. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Those moments didn't just vanish—they got buried under layers of routine and stress. Rediscovering them isn't fantasy. It's strategic. It's essential. Imagine what could change if you found those treasures again—the laughter, the intimacy, the feeling that you still have a partner who sees, supports, and respects you. So how do you get back there? The K.I.S.S. ~ Rediscover the treasures! Here are three powerful moves any spouse or couple can make to unearth those hidden gems in their relationship: Hit Pause and Prioritize Presence When life speeds up, your attention fragments. Phones ping, calendars overflow, and distractions pile up. The first treasure you lose is presence—the simple act of truly showing up for each other. Make a choice each day to put away the noise for a dedicated window of time. No phones, no multitasking. Just intentional, undistracted time together. Even 10 minutes of real eye contact, honest talk, or shared silence can reconnect you to what's real. Revisit What Drew You Together Your relationship had a start—memories, values you lined up, jokes shared, and dreams built. Revisit that foundation deliberately. Pull out old photos, retell your story, or recreate a memorable date. This isn't nostalgia for nostalgia's sake; it's remembering the reasons that made your bond compelling, the things that felt irresistible—and why you chose to blend your life with this person. Create New Rituals That Matter Routine kills romance only when it becomes monotonous and meaningless. But rituals done right reinforce connection. Find or create rituals that feel significant to both of you—morning coffee chats, weekly walks, or Sunday night check-ins. These become anchors amid chaos, moments where you reconnect on a deeper level. The trick is consistency with intention, not expensive or elaborate gestures. Here's the truth: no marriage stays fresh and fulfilling without effort. But effort without focus on what really matters burns out fast. Rediscovering these forgotten treasures shifts the trajectory of your relationship from exhaustion to engagement—from surviving to thriving. Your marriage isn't just a checkbox or a compromise. It's a living, breathing partnership waiting to be dug up, dusted off, and cherished again. Those forgotten treasures might be the best find ever! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 💍 The Christmas Ring by Karen Kingsbury: (https://karenkingsbury.com) 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 15. 3273874 Make Gratitude a Family HabitWith Thanksgiving around the corner, you will hear a lot about being grateful. But gratitude isn't a seasonal decoration. It's a daily practice that parents must live and teach if they want their kids to grow up grounded, resilient, and far from the trap of entitlement. Make gratitude a family habit. Gratitude isn't just a nice-to-have emotion; it's a fundamental mindset that shapes how we experience and respond to life. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Research in psychology and human behavior shows that people who practice gratitude regularly are not only happier but also less stressed, more resilient, and better at forming strong relationships. For kids, learning gratitude early builds a foundation for emotional intelligence that can protect them from feeling entitled, discouraged, or disconnected as they grow. Why is this so crucial? Because life isn't a nonstop highlight reel. Challenges, setbacks, and disappointments come to everyone's doorstep. Without gratitude, it's easy to get stuck in frustration or envy, which only deepens stress and dissatisfaction. But gratitude rewires the brain to notice and appreciate resources, kindness, and even small moments of joy — giving us a buffer against life's inevitable hard knocks. In a family setting, this matters even more. Kids watch their parents not just for words but for cues on how to handle emotions and challenges. When parents embody gratitude, they show kids a way to lean into hope instead of bitterness — a way to be aware of abundance even when faced with scarcity. Here's another critical point: gratitude isn't about ignoring problems or pretending everything is perfect. It's about holding two truths at once. You can be upset about what's wrong and still be grateful for what's good. That balance creates emotional flexibility and maturity, equipping children to face the world with a realistic but positive lens. So gratitude isn't just a warm fuzzy feeling. It's a skill and a muscle to be trained. The more families practice it, the stronger it grows — giving parents and kids a daily lifeline to navigate life with courage and connection rather than entitlement and isolation. And isn't that the kind of life any parent wants for their child? The K.I.S.S. ~ Create the lifeline of gratitude! If you want your kids to get gratitude, you have to show them what it looks like beyond the "please" and "thank you" phrases. Here are three clear, no-fluff moves you can make as a parent to promote genuine gratitude in your family — with real-life examples you can start today. 1. Make Gratitude Visible — Not Just a Feeling Kids can't be grateful for what they don't notice. Most of us default to focusing on what's missing or what's wrong. Flip that script. Create daily rituals where you spotlight what you do have together as a family. Example: At dinner, go around the table and have each person name one specific thing from their day they're thankful for — not vague gifts like "my family," but specifics like "how mom made my favorite pasta today" or "that I scored a goal at soccer." This shifts gratitude from a nebulous idea into a concrete habit. Over time, your kids will start scanning their day looking for those moments themselves. 2. Model Gratitude When Things Go Wrong Gratitude isn't just for the wins and sunny days—it's what keeps us going when life throws curveballs. Example: When plans fall apart (like a canceled birthday party or a missed bus), instead of letting frustration take over, verbalize the silver lining. "I'm mad this happened, but I'm grateful we have each other and we can still have fun at home." This teaches your children how gratitude works in real time to soften disappointment. If you only show gratitude when life's easy, your kids won't learn its true power. 3. Give Without Expecting Immediate Thanks or Results Gratitude grows best in soil watered with kindness and generosity—not transactions. Example: Do small acts of kindness as a family without announcing them or expecting recognition. Maybe you secretly donate old clothes together or write thank-you notes to your mail carrier or teachers. Talk about why helping others matters without always tying it to getting a "thank you." Kids will pick up on the idea that gratitude is tied to generosity, not just receiving. Gratitude isn't a shiny bonus—it's the quiet courage that fills life's cracks with hope when things don't go your way. And let's face it, the tough days make the up days even sweeter. As a parent, your daily example is the blueprint your kids will follow. So double down on gratitude now. Make it messy, real, imperfect — but make it happen. Because showing your kids how to live life with gratitude is one of the best gifts you can give. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 💍 The Christmas Ring by Karen Kingsbury: (https://karenkingsbury.com) 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 16. 3283873 Elevate Your RhythmsHow often are you actually crushing your to-do list—and not just busy? Be honest. Because running from task to task, dizzy with frustration, is not a badge of honor. It's a sign you're out of sync with what truly matters. Create your now—elevate your rhythms. Life doesn't hand us extra hours; it hands us rhythms. Habits. Those daily patterns that either drain us or drive us forward—often without us even noticing. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Here's the truth: if you're stuck practicing the wrong rhythms, your priorities get kicked to the curb. You show up exhausted, distracted, or worse, waiting for "someday" instead of owning the day. So, what if you could elevate your rhythms—tune into habits that amplify your purpose, sharpen your focus, and command your energy? It starts by grounding yourself with a simple reset: take a deep breath and ask, "What rhythm am I really running on right now?" Is it a chaotic dance that scatters your focus or a deliberate beat that powers meaningful action? The K.I.S.S. ~ Elevate your rhythms! Elevated rhythms aren't about perfection—they're about alignment. They're the daily moves you make that create forward momentum on your most important goals. When you establish these intentional cycles, you stop wasting energy on noise and start channeling it where it counts. The outcome? You accomplish not just more, but what matters most. That meeting, project, call, or moment with a loved one that defines your day, not the endless busywork that fills it. Don't settle for scrambling. Reclaim your time by crafting habits that serve your purpose. Because your rhythms don't just move you through the day—they set the pace for your life. Elevate Your Rhythms by Kristianne Wargo In the rush where moments scatter, And the noise won't cease to chatter, Pause — a breath, a steady drum, Find the beat where purpose hums. Habits built like flowing streams, Carry weight, or carry dreams, Broken patterns, worn and frail, Or a mighty, steady gale. Rise above the chaos' call, Choose the rhythm that won't fall, Let your actions sing with grace, Every step a meaningful place. Not the busy, blind routine, But a dance both sharp and keen, Elevate your daily flow — Make your time and purpose grow. So when the day is done and gone, You'll see where all your hours shone, In rhythms kept and wisely played, The life you meant to have was made. "Be present. Be incredible. 17. 3293872 Patience Is Not PassiveWhen it comes to healthy living, consistency is king. But anyone who's ever tried to lose weight or build better habits knows that consistency alone isn't enough. You need patience, too. Yet, patience is often misunderstood as doing nothing — sitting back and waiting for magic to happen. It's not. Patience is not passive. It's an active choice to keep moving forward, even when progress feels slow or invisible. We're quick to judge ourselves, especially if past attempts ended in failure. That critical voice inside pushes us to do more, faster, like we're racing against some ticking clock. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com But freaking out or trying to prove something only fuels frustration and self-doubt. And frustration doesn't get the scale to budge, the energy to spike, or habits to stick. It just keeps you stuck. Healthy living isn't about being perfect. It's about embracing imperfection — making the best decisions you can right now while living a life that's real and messy. Patience is your companion on this journey, and it's most powerful when paired with deliberate action. So how can you be active while you're patiently waiting for the weight to fall or the habits to take root? It's all about patience in action! The K.I.S.S. ~ Patience in action! Here are three concrete moves anyone can make to embody patient action: 1. Daily Mini Wins: Choose Small Actions, Every Day Patience doesn't mean waiting for some giant breakthrough. It means showing up for yourself daily, even in small ways. What it looks like: Instead of a marathon workout once a week, commit to a 10-minute walk each day. Or swap one soda for water every afternoon. These smaller wins build momentum. How to adapt: Schedule it like a meeting you can't miss. Set an alarm to remind you, or pair your mini-win with an existing habit—brush your teeth, then do a quick stretch. Showing up consistently with these manageable tasks keeps you active and engaged, even if the scale or mirror isn't celebrating yet. 2. Reflect and Adjust: Use Your Waiting Time to Learn Patience gives you space to reflect on what's working and what's not—without judgment, only curiosity. What it looks like: Keep a simple journal or notes app where you jot down daily energy levels, moods, or craving triggers. Notice patterns and adjust your plan accordingly. How to adapt: Make this reflection a brief part of your day, maybe before bed or after meals. Use your insights to tweak your eating, exercise, or sleep habits bit by bit. Being patient with your process means you're constantly refining your approach, not stuck repeating the same old 'failures'. 3. Invest in Your Foundations: Prioritize Rest and Recovery Patience includes respecting your body's need for downtime as much as it craves movement. What it looks like: Sleeping enough, managing stress, and scheduling rest days even when you want to push harder. How to adapt: Notice how you feel after a bad night's sleep or a stressful day. Choose to hit pause, even with a short meditation, breathing exercise, or gentle yoga session. Prioritizing recovery keeps your body primed to respond to your healthy efforts over the long haul. Your body is the engine that powers everything you do. The better you care for it, the bigger your impact on the world around you. Healthy living isn't a race; it's a continuous journey of patient action. By scaling down the overwhelm and focusing on daily wins, self-reflection, and rest, you stay active even while waiting for results. Life is worth living fully—imperfect, unpolished, and real. Be patient in your actions, and the outcomes will follow. 18. 3303871 Build in the StillnessNow that Halloween's behind us, the rush of the busy season is kicking into high gear. The instinct to push harder, check off every box, and chase every opportunity can feel unstoppable. Yet sometimes the most brilliant move isn't to sprint. It's the slowdown to build in the stillness. Most people never give themselves the chance for deep, uninterrupted thinking. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com We fill every minute with tasks, meetings, and "to-dos" without ever stepping back to truly assess what's working—and what's holding us back. The hard realization many avoid is that it's not always about what you should be doing more of. Often, it's about what you need to stop doing. The K.I.S.S. ~ Build in the stillness! Slowing down doesn't equal losing momentum. In fact, it's precisely the opposite. When you resist the urge to hustle blindly, you create space to clarify your path. You find the distractions, the assumptions, and the outdated expectations that are quietly sapping your energy and focus. You can slow down to speed up. Whatever your beliefs, there's a rhythm to growth and success that can't be rushed. There's a timing to the opportunities meant for you—a timing that often outpaces your plans and deadlines. At what point do you stop staking your actions on your own relentless drive and start aligning with what God has designed specifically for you? Expectations and assumptions can strand you in the wrong place and keep you spinning in uncertainty. The stillness is where you tune out the noise, discard those false pressures, and stake your claim in what truly matters. This isn't about giving up or dropping your goals. It's about building well—with intention, wisdom, and patience. When you build in the stillness, your foundation becomes unshakable, and your next moves sharper. So as this crazy season unfolds, don't just do all the things because it feels like you have to. Build in the stillness. And watch what happens when you move forward—not from desperation, but with purpose. 19. 3313870 Why Chasing Control Is Crushing Your ConfidenceIt's SO exhausting white-knuckling through your day because you think controlling every little thing will lead to better results. Control is not confidence. Clinging to control is like trying to hold water in a fist: the tighter you squeeze, the more you lose. And in that squeeze, you miss what truly matters. So that's why chasing control is crushing your confidence. The truth is, most of what you worry about isn't yours to change. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com What truly matters—your values, your mindset, your response—you can only BE. Let that sink in! In order to exude confidence, you need to take AIM: action ignites motivation. It's not about control; it's about the next step. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo Confidence flows from surrendering control over the uncontrollable and leaning into your own power. What actions can you take? What is your next step? What can you say to yourself to know you've got what it takes? So how do you step into solid confidence no matter what chaos swirls around you? The K.I.S.S. ~ Walk in confidence! Walking in confidence will weaken your grip on control because you are in motion, focused on the mission. Here are three moves to walk in confidence, regardless of your circumstances: 1. Own Your Story (Inner Narrative) Confidence begins with what you tell yourself. Instead of letting overwhelm run the show, catch your inner critic mid-rant. Reframe those runaway thoughts: Replace "I have to fix this or I'll fail" with "I am capable of handling what comes, one step at a time." When your day goes off script, say, "This doesn't define me. I'm bigger than this moment." Example: You miss a deadline at work and start spiraling. Stop. Tell yourself, "This is a bump, not a brick wall. I'll learn and do better next time." That shift rewires your brain from panic to presence. 2. Focus on What You Can Control—Your Actions & Attitude You can't control other people's reactions, the economy, or when your wifi dies. But you can control your next move and your mindset about it. Confidence grows when you invest energy where it counts, not where it's wasted. Example: Traffic is a nightmare, and you're already late. Instead of racking up stress, decide: "I'll call ahead to let them know," or "I'll use this moment to breathe and reset." You regain agency and refuse to let frustration steal your calm. 3. Practice Small Acts of Courage Daily Confidence isn't the absence of fear; it's the decision to act despite it. Start with tiny risks—speaking up in a meeting, setting a boundary, or tackling a task you've been avoiding. Every small win stacks up into a fortress of self-trust. Example: You've been hesitant to market your services. Today, you post one honest story about your work—and it feels vulnerable and uncomfortable. That action is a vote for your confidence, no matter the outcome. In Your Heart — Confidence Lives You cannot clutch the rivers' flow, Nor stop the winds that come and go. But in your hands, a sturdier thing— Your voice, your choice, the courage to spring. Release the grip that drains your light, Step out into your own strong sight. For confidence's quiet, steady art, Lives not in control—but in your heart. You don't have to wrestle the world to prove your worth. Walk tall by owning your story, acting with intention, and daring to show up—even when it's hard. That's real confidence. Create your now! 20. 3323869 You Are MineRomans 8:33 says, "Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies." This isn't a casual encouragement—it's a declaration that your worth, your standing, and your identity are locked in by the One who matters most. No accusation from others, no internal voice of doubt, can stand when God has said, "You are mine." Sarah Young nails this in Jesus Calling for Kids when she writes, "Don't be discouraged if your mind wanders away from Me. And don't accuse yourself of being a failure. Try to see yourself as I see you. I am thrilled by your deep desire to stay close to Me." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Imagine—rather than beating yourself up over every stray thought and stumble, you stop and see yourself through God's eyes. You're not a mess to fix; you're a beloved child eager to walk closer. Life pushes and pulls, demanding we please everyone: family, neighbors, bosses, even strangers. It's a pressure cooker of expectations that can twist your thoughts into a battlefield. But here's the truth: the only opinion that holds eternal weight is God's. All the negative "what ifs" and harsh judgments crowd the corners of your mind, threatening to set up camp, but you don't have to make room for them. The K.I.S.S. ~ You are mine! So how do we refuse that toxic takeover? You gotta stop running on everyone else's agenda. You don't need to settle for resentment, guilt, or fear sneaking into your heart. When feelings or voices push you down, remind yourself that God is your defender—not you. When you feel the weight of condemnation—whether from within yourself or someone else—stop. Name God as your justification. Say it out loud if you must: "God has chosen me—no one else's charges stick." Step consistently in God's direction. It's not about perfection—it's about proximity. Walk in step with Him, tethered to the truth that your identity is secure. When your mind wanders, don't bash yourself; pull back gently and refocus on His acceptance and love. You have zero obligation to carry the burden of false accusations—whether from others or the harshest voice of all: your own. God decided your worth, and He stands unwavering beside you. Let that be your anchor. Cut off the corners where negativity tries to hide and claim space. You are justified. You are chosen. You are loved. You've got God's approval—it's time to create your now. 21. 3333868 Find Grounds for MarriageRobert Anderson, a theologian from the early 20th century, once said, "In every marriage more than a week old, there are grounds for divorce. The trick is to find and continue to find grounds for marriage." If you look hard enough, you can find reasons to call it quits in almost any marriage. Missed expectations, disagreements, annoyances, boredom—the list goes on. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's easy to build a stacked case against staying together because we're wired to notice what's wrong or lacking. But here's the catch: that same attention to flaws, if left unchecked, can quietly sabotage the strongest unions. So why did Anderson focus on the "trick" of finding grounds for marriage? Because what keeps a marriage alive, even thriving, isn't ignoring the challenges or pretending everything is perfect. It's deliberately seeking out what makes the partnership worthwhile—what justifies the commitment day after day, year after year. Finding reasons to divorce? That's the easy part. Finding reasons to stay? That's the real work. What does finding grounds for marriage even mean? It means shifting your perspective from "What's wrong?" to "What's right? What remains? What can grow?" It's about spotting the moments, choices, and qualities that build connection and trust—even when the hard stuff shows up. It's reminding yourself what drew you here in the first place, and discovering new reasons to keep choosing each other. The K.I.S.S. ~ Discover new reasons to keep choosing each other! You might think this sounds almost naive. But it's not. It's practical and necessary. Marriages don't stay strong on autopilot. Without conscious effort, dissatisfaction breeds. And that's where the real danger lies. Three Things Spouses Can Do to Find Grounds for Marriage Celebrate Small Wins Together It's easy to overlook everyday kindnesses or strengths because they don't shout for attention. Instead of letting these moments slip by, make a habit of recognizing the small ways you support and appreciate each other. This habit rewires your attention from "problems" to "progress," keeping the positive momentum alive. Create Shared Goals and Meaning When the grind of life sets in, your relationship can start to feel like parallel worlds rather than a partnership. Building and revisiting joint aspirations—whether they're big dreams or simple rituals—grounds your connection. You're not just enduring together, you're moving forward with purpose. Practice Compassionate Communication Conflict is inevitable, but how you handle it defines your bond. Choosing curiosity over judgment and patience over impatience opens pathways to understanding instead of walls. Compassionate conversations remind you both why you're on the same team. The truth is, no marriage is perfect. Finding and cultivating reasons to stay isn't about ignoring flaws—it's about finding reasons that outweigh them. The "grounds for marriage" aren't just the big milestones but also the persistent everyday choices to value, respect, and build with your partner. So, what do you think? Is focusing on "grounds for marriage" a radical idea, or just common sense reframed? If your focus shifts from "Why should I leave?" to "Why should I stay?" you might be surprised at the strength you discover—both in your partner and in yourself. That's the real secret Anderson was pointing to. Divorce might always have reasons on its side, but marriage demands you find reasons too. Bold reasons that last. 22. 3343867 Don't Miss the SweetsParenting isn't just about teaching right from wrong or setting rules. It's about guiding our children on the path ahead—with patience, love, and encouragement. Yes, kids can fray your nerves and drain your energy. You're juggling school, activities, community commitments, and the endless to-do lists. But don't miss the sweets—the moments worth celebrating with your kids. Here's the hard truth: life doesn't have to be perfectly smooth for you to cheer on your children. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com In fact, that's when they need your encouragement the most. But when frustration creeps in, patience runs thin, and energy dips, the temptation is to miss those precious wins amid the noise. If you want to be the parent who balances teaching and training with loving and lifting, avoid missing the sweets. The K.I.S.S. ~ Avoid missing the sweets! Here are three things you can do right now to avoid missing the sweets. 1. Celebrate Small Wins—Out Loud and Often Too often, we wait for the "big moments" to praise our kids. Instead, celebrate the everyday successes: finishing homework without a fight, trying a new sport, sharing with a sibling, or even just showing kindness. Example: After school, instead of asking, "Did you get your homework done?" try, "I noticed how focused you were on your math today. That's awesome!" Praise specific behaviors, not just results. When you verbally highlight their effort and choices, you pump in positive energy that reinforces their best habits and builds confidence. 2. Schedule Mini Celebration Breaks When life gets hectic, carve out intentional pauses—not big productions—to just enjoy your child's company. These moments become your "sweet" spots. Example: Pick one day a week for a simple "celebration snack" together—like homemade cookies or fruit smoothies. Use this time to ask not about grades or chores, but what made them laugh today or what they're proud of. These breaks remind both of you that the relationship matters more than the endless grind. 3. Lead With Encouragement When Discipline Is Needed Tough lessons don't have to come wrapped in frustration or harsh words. You can hold boundaries and still fuel your child's self-esteem. Example: Instead of, "You never listen!" try, "I know you can handle this—let's figure out what will help you remember next time." When kids feel supported, even when corrected, they're more likely to embrace the lesson—and less likely to shut down. Parenting is hard work, no doubt. But if you become the parent who cheers and teaches, trains and encourages, you're giving your children a foundation they can't get anywhere else. Don't let the stress make you miss the sweetness right in front of you. You're not just raising kids—you're shaping who they will be. So take a breath and look for those "sweets" daily. 23. 3353866 Be Who You Are BecomingChange is not easy. But it's not necessarily about turning all of who we are upside down to be someone else either. Don't hide from yourself, waiting to be the one you think you're becoming. Be who you are becoming. Every day, you make choices. How you show up. Who you talk to. Where you go. But how often do you deliberately choose to be who you want to become, right now? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Too often, we get tangled in the small stuff—every typo, every awkward conversation, every little stumble. We lose sight of the big picture: the person you are evolving into. If you're not conscious of your growth, if you're not breathing fully in your day, then what exactly are you doing? The K.I.S.S. ~ Be who you are becoming! You are a living legacy. Created for something bigger than the moment you're in. The greatness you're meant for isn't a distant dream—it's a door waiting for you to walk through every single day, even if you're still figuring it all out. Look around. Everyone is figuring things out. Change isn't a problem to solve; it's a constant dance you're invited to join.  So why wait for the perfect version of yourself before you step forward? Show up brave. Show up real. Show up as you're becoming you—imperfect, a work in progress, yet already on the path to greatness. Be who you are becoming. 24. 3363865 Be Kind with Your CommentsImagine if everyone wore a sign that said: Be kind with your comments. It sounds simple, but the way we speak, whether to ourselves or others, often misses this mark. Sometimes, we toss out smart-aleck remarks, pretending to be funny, or just ramble without thinking twice. But here's the truth. Words hurt. So being kind with what you say matters more than you realize. Because no matter how casual or "harmless" words seem, they can stick and cause damage. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Living a healthy life is tough. It's not a one-time decision, but a daily challenge that requires effort and commitment. Now, throw in a barrage of sarcastic, negative, or careless comments—especially those you whisper to yourself—and it's no wonder it's hard to maintain healthy habits. When you keep telling yourself, "I'm not good enough" or "Why bother? I always fail," those words chip away at your motivation and confidence. So, what can you do to be kind with your comments and support a healthier, stronger you? It starts with your words because they shape your mindset. The K.I.S.S. ~ Start with your words! Let's get real on how you use your words wisely with three actionable habits: 1. Catch and Replace Negative Self-Talk Your inner voice has more power than you might think. When you catch yourself saying, "I can't," "I'm too slow," or "I'll never get this right," stop. Replace those with something straightforward and kind: "I'm figuring this out," "I'm improving every day," or even "I'm trying, and that's what counts." Example: Instead of grumbling after missing a workout—"Great, I'm a failure"—try, "I missed today, but I'll get back on track tomorrow." 2. Speak Respectfully About Others' Choices Whether it's a friend's diet, workout routine, or lifestyle, don't undermine their efforts with sarcasm or judgment. Instead, be genuinely supportive or hold your tongue if you can't. Kindness isn't about agreeing with everyone; it's about respecting their journey. Example: Your colleague chooses a salad while you grab fries. Rather than saying, "Wow, you're so boring," try, "Good for you, that looks like a healthy choice." That respect creates positive energy all around. 3. Make Your Words Constructive, Not Critical If you need to give feedback—whether to yourself or someone else—make sure it's helpful and encouraging, not cutting. Criticism that hurts is easy; kindness that guides takes effort but changes outcomes. Example: Instead of thinking, "You always mess up your meal prep," say, "Meal prep is tough; let's look at a new way to make it easier next week." Choosing kindness in your comments is a real shift and demands awareness and commitment. You have to want better for yourself and others enough to change not only your actions but also how you talk about them. Words are powerful tools. And used wisely, they make the path to healthier living clearer and kinder. Be the person who builds up, not tears down—with your mouth or your mind. Because when you're kind with your comments, you give yourself and those around you a fighting chance to be who they are becoming. And that in itself is a real healthy win!
