- 2413960 Why the Small Stuff Matters to GodHave you ever thought why the small stuff matters to God? Shouldn't just the big things that shift your life get all the attention? It's easy to let your everyday get swallowed up by the routines and distractions, work deadlines, household chores, and endless to-do lists that we often overlook where our faith truly intersects with our everyday moments. But you must remember, God cares deeply about the seemingly small, mundane parts of your day. It's in these moments that your faith becomes real, not just a Sunday sentiment but a lived reality. Consider Colossians 3:23–24 (NIV): "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com This scripture reminds us that no task is too trivial when done with a heart oriented toward God. The dishes you wash, the emails you send, the conversations you have—they all hold spiritual significance when aligned with a desire to honor God. In fact, Jesus points us to this daily intersection in Luke 16:10 (NIV): "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much." Faithfulness in the "little" things of life is the foundational soil where spiritual growth happens. When we overlook the mundane, we miss opportunities to live out God's values: kindness, patience, and integrity. Another powerful truth is found in Matthew 6:33 (NIV): "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Seeking God's kingdom isn't only about grand gestures or major decisions; it's also about putting Him first in how you handle your daily commitments, your mindset during challenges, and your attitude toward others. The K.I.S.S. ~ Why the small stuff matters to God! So, what does it look like when faith and daily life intersect? It means choosing gratitude over grumbling in traffic, offering compassion when stressed, or praying quietly during a moment of overwhelm. It's living with the awareness that your everyday actions echo far beyond your immediate circumstances—they resonate in God's bigger story. Don't get trapped in the illusion that your faith is separate from your daily grind. It's precisely where you are—right now—that God wants to meet you. When you stop glossing over what feels mundane and instead invite God into those moments, your life reflects a faith that's honest, active, and deeply rooted. "You are not just a Sunday Christian," Paul reminds us in Romans 12:1 (paraphrased): offer your whole self every day as a living sacrifice—holy and pleasing to God. Your daily life is your worship. It's where you say, "God, I trust You here." So let faith and life collide—in your 9 to 5, your family chaos, your quiet mornings. That's where the real work happens. This is what really matters—not just to you, but more importantly to God. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2423959 Present But DistantMarriage isn't just the big moments: the wedding day, anniversaries, or vacations. A huge part of it happens in the "in-between": the daily grind, the shuffle of family life, the countless errands, work schedules, and responsibilities that fill every corner of your time. In this chaos, it's easy and dangerously common for spouses to drift apart without even noticing. You're both so busy serving the kids, managing the household, or chasing careers that choosing to connect as a couple takes a backseat. You become like two ships passing in the day and night, present but distant. Your marriage can't survive on busy schedules and shared roof lines alone. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com If you don't learn how to wrestle with the in-between—the small moments where real connection can be made—you risk becoming strangers living parallel lives. When the noise quiets and the family leaves the room, the question becomes: who is going to be sitting next to you? If you haven't intentionally fought for closeness during your everyday life, you may not recognize the one beside you anymore. You need to be intentional about drawing closer to one another. The K.I.S.S. ~ Draw closer to one another! So how do you draw closer in the in-between? How do you stake your claim as partners, even when life feels chaotic, and you're both pulled in a million directions? Here are three non-negotiable approaches to intentionally bridge the gap. Be Present Without Distraction This sounds simple, but it's the foundation. When you're physically together but mentally somewhere else, connection dies. Commit to carving out "device-free" moments—whether it's 10 minutes before bed, a coffee in the morning, or a quick check-in after work—where your full attention is on one another. Listen like that time depends on it. Ask how your partner's day truly went and resist jumping to problem-solving. Just be there, soaking in the presence of the person who's supposed to be your closest ally. Own Your Role in the Rhythm of the Home Marriage doesn't happen in isolation from family life, but it also can't be sacrificed on the altar of busyness. Recognize how you contribute to the daily flow and actively look for ways to share responsibility, lighten your partner's load, or create space for couple time. It's not just about doing tasks but about signaling that your spouse matters enough to disrupt your own busy schedule. When you step in to support the shared life, you draw closer, not just practically but emotionally. Create Micro-Rituals That Mean Something Big date nights are great, but they are hard to sustain consistently. The real magic happens in simple, regular rituals that become your shared language. Maybe it's a goodnight text every evening, a brief morning hug before the chaos begins, or sharing a weekly "high and low" where you talk about the best and worst parts of your week. These small but consistent acts become emotional anchors; they're proof that, despite the busyness, you're actively choosing each other. In wrestling with the in-between, you are doing the hardest and most important work of marriage. It's messy. It's not glamorous, but it is indispensable. If you settle for just "getting through," you risk showing up as roommates rather than life partners. Is that what you really want? But if you lean into the daily struggle to be present, supportive, and intentional, even in the tiniest of tiniest moments, you build a foundation strong enough to weather any storm. When the family is gone, and only the two of you are standing in the quiet house, you'll know exactly who is beside you—and why it matters. That's not luck or circumstance. It's your return on investment of wrestling intentionally with the in-between. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2433958 Make Your Last Word GoodParenting is a relentless hustle. Sleepless nights blur into days of heartache, frustration, and moments when it feels like your efforts go unnoticed. In the chaos of discipline, schedules, and tears, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that you are the constant in your child's world—their anchor and their guide. The truth is, what you say last in any interaction leaves a lasting imprint. That's why it's crucial: make your last word good. What does that mean? It means shifting focus from reaction to reflection. It means choosing the lasting message you want your child to take away, especially when things get tough. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's not about perfection or having all the answers; it's about planting seeds of understanding, respect, and hope that can grow as your child matures. The Power of Perspective As children grow, their understanding of rules and boundaries matures from simply obeying "because I said so" to grappling with why things are the way they are. They start to piece together context, connect cause and effect, and make sense of the bigger picture. But that doesn't happen by chance—parents have to model that shift first. When you make your last word count, you're giving your child a moment to reflect, not just react. You're inviting them to see the reason behind the rule, the care behind the discipline, and the love beyond the frustration. This is maturity in action—and it's what will stick with them long after the daily struggles. The K.I.S.S. ~ Make your last word good! What 3 Things Can You Do to Make Your Last Word Good? Choose Clarity Over Conflict When tempers rise or patience wears thin, your last word can easily turn into a sharp command or a harsh reprimand. Instead, pause and give clear, calm explanations. For example, rather than letting a conversation end with "You never listen," try, "I love you, and I need us to work together on this." It's a simple shift, but it plants respect and connection instead of resentment. Anchor with Encouragement Kids hear a lot of correction, but they crave affirmation. Make your last word an uplifting one, even if you're setting a boundary. "I know this is hard, but I believe in you" or "You're learning every day, and I'm proud of how you're trying" changes the tone. It tells your child they matter and that you see their effort, not just their mistakes. Leave a Thought to Carry Forward Your last word should offer something your child can chew on long after the moment passes. It might be a question to ponder, a reminder of shared values, or a gentle nudge toward self-reflection. For instance, "What can we do differently next time?" or "Remember, kindness is strength." These seeds of wisdom encourage ongoing growth. To Every Parent Reading This Doing this work day in and day out isn't easy. You're navigating emotions, demands, and your own fatigue. But remember this: the tiny, intentional moments add up. The last word you leave with your child in each tough exchange is like the final brushstroke on a painting—they'll remember the feeling more than the fight itself. Keep showing up. Keep adjusting your approach. Your efforts may feel invisible on some days, but they're shaping the adults your children will become. Make your last word good. Make it count. Your child will thank you in ways you can't even imagine yet. "Be present. Be incredible. - 2443957 Dig A Little DeeperLife doesn't wait for you to be ready. It hits hard, fast, and often without warning. When the storms roll in, they can scar your days and steal the peace from your nights. It's raw. It's real. And frankly, it's not fun. Life has never been easy for anyone who's ever done more than just exist. If you want to stand tall—if you want to break past the pain—you have to dig a little deeper. Digging deeper means rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands and heart a little dirty, diving headfirst into the mess that life throws your way. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's not about avoiding struggle or sitting on the sidelines waiting for clear skies. It's about anchoring yourself right inside the storm, understanding its force, and figuring out how to move despite it. When you hit a wall—and you will—don't just stand there and stare it down like a dead end. Walls are part of the landscape. They're not your prison. Find a way around it. Climb it. Smash through it if you have to—but do it on your terms, in a way that honors who you are and who you are becoming. The K.I.S.S. ~ Dig a little deeper! This isn't about stubbornness for stubbornness's sake. It's about resilience with purpose. You don't settle because you think "this is good enough." No. You chase after more—not more money, not more stuff—but more meaning, more impact, and more depth in your everyday life. When you cultivate that "more," everything else begins to fall into place. So the next time life threatens to crush your spirit, remember this: You have a well inside you filled with untapped strength, grit, and tenacity. Dig in and unearth it. Push past the pain, the doubt, and the fatigue. The edge of your discomfort is where growth lives. Don't quit. Don't settle. Dig a little deeper—and watch how far you'll go. "Be present. - 2453956 Why Does Everything Healthy Taste So Bad?Healthy living rarely feels easy. We say we want to be healthier, but when faced with salads that seem like lawn clippings or bland steamed veggies, we ask ourselves: Why does everything healthy taste so bad? The frustration isn't just about flavor; it's a symptom of a deeper battle between what our bodies crave and what our minds resist. Your taste buds and your body are often on two different pages, and that disconnect trips up even the most committed. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com When we say "healthy," we're really talking about what our body needs to thrive—nutrients, real fuel, balance. But what our brain wants immediately tends to be sugar, salt, fat—the triple threat engineered by processed foods to hook us in. This clash makes healthy food feel like punishment, not a pleasure. Why does this happen? Because evolution wired us to survive scarcity, not abundance. Sweet and salty triggers told our ancestors where to find energy-dense food in the wild. Today, those cravings run wild thanks to a buffet of hyper-processed options. Meanwhile, nutrient-rich foods, often more subtle in taste, demand patience and resetting your palate—a job none of us signed up for overnight. The K.I.S.S. ~ Reset your taste buds! Because if we choose differently, there will be a greater hit to our health; where we resist the standards our bodies require because facing that means discipline, discomfort, and sacrifice. It means saying no to quick fixes and yes to choices that don't deliver instant gratification. We ignore our body's needs because honoring them questions our habits, priorities, and sometimes, our identity. That's the gut punch!! But there's good news. Healthy living can "taste" good. Not just in your mouth—on your tongue—but in how it feels in your body, mind, and how you live your life. How? Start with these three moves: Reset Your Palate Gradually: Your taste buds adapt faster than you think. Swap one processed snack for a piece of fresh fruit or a handful of nuts each day. Over weeks, flavors you once found bland become vibrant. You start to crave the realness instead of the artificial. Connect Food to Feeling: Don't just eat a salad because it's "healthy." Notice the energy, clarity, or calm it brings you afterward. When you link food with the benefit it provides, that "taste" becomes the reward, not the immediate sugary hit. Own Your Standards: You're not on a diet; you're living a lifestyle. Get clear on what your body deserves and hold that line. No excuses. Healthy living tastes better when you're proud of your commitment and results. Now, imagine what healthy "tastes" like in a bigger sense: It's waking up energized, not groggy. It's wearing clothes that fit right, not stretched out. It's feeling confident in your skin and owning your day without hitting a wall at 2 PM. It's more than food—it's peace of mind, resilience, and freedom. It's about honoring your mind, body, and spirit. That's the real flavor of health. Sometimes bitter at first, yes, but rich and rewarding once you adjust your expectations and truly commit. So next time you grimace over kale or blanch at the thought of no sugar, remember—it's not about instant taste. It's about training your mind and body for a delight that lasts a lifetime. Keep pushing. The taste of real health is waiting on the other side of your discomfort. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2463955 Put Down Your MaskIt's easy to hide behind a mask — the carefully crafted image of who you think you should be or what you don't want anyone to see. Behind this disguise, you might feel safer, less vulnerable. But you cannot move forward or live the life you were meant to live with God's divine purpose in mind if you're trapped behind that mask. So, put down your mask. Please put down your mask. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Be bold enough to show up with your flaws, your imperfections, your raw and real self. You don't have to be perfect to create a beautiful life. Perfection is a mirage that keeps you stuck. Real progress comes when you shed the fear of judgment and embrace your authentic story. Put down your mask. Be honest with yourself and in your view of life. Stop wrestling your reality into something it's not. Your circumstances — hard as they may be — don't define your worth or your destiny. You are not your struggles, your failures, or your fears. Acknowledge them as part of your path without letting them box you in. The K.I.S.S. ~ Put down your mask! Be compassionate with yourself. You will stumble. You will make mistakes. That's part of being human. Grant yourself the grace you easily offer to others. Don't hold yourself to impossible standards. Growth requires patience, and forgiveness fuels resilience. Be you. Not a version edited for approval or acceptance, but the real you — imperfect, evolving, courageous. Allow yourself to become who you're meant to be, step by step, day by day. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo So put down your mask. Take that step. Live your truth. The life waiting for you on the other side is far richer than any façade could ever be. Put Down Your Mask by Kristianne Wargo Behind the glass of polished grace, A shadow hides, a quiet place. But masks, no matter how they shine, Can never mirror your true spine. You've held them up to shield the pain, To hide the loss, to numb the strain. But here's the truth you need to hear— The light inside grows strong and clear. So shed the weight of perfect guise, Let honesty unbind your eyes. Your scars, your doubts, your fragile parts, Are just the maps to your brave heart. Be bold enough to stand, unmasked, To speak your truth, to own what's past. Compassion's not just for the world— Gift it yourself, let grace unfurl. Step by step, the journey's made, Not by rushing, nor by shade. One foot forward, small and sure, Leads to a life that's rich and pure. So put down your hard, guarded face, And live in freedom, love, and grace. - 2473954 How Do You Shift In Real Time?Life isn't a straight path. It's a wild mix of flavors, textures, highs, lows, wins, and setbacks. You grind to reach certain milestones, but just when you think you've arrived, reality reminds you there's more hustle, more growth, more shifting to do. So how do you shift in real time when life throws you curveballs? Are you the kind of person who acts like you've already done the hard work—like you've ticked the box—only to wash your hands of responsibility? Then you lean back, waiting for the next step to come to you. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Or maybe you're the type that challenges yourself to digest every lesson learned and push further no matter what. Here's the hard truth: nobody completely arrives. Not until the very end. Those who think they've checked all the boxes often get stuck. They lose sight of the fact that shifting—changing—evolving on the fly is a constant. They cling to the illusion of "being done" and miss the point entirely. So if arrival isn't the goal, what is? How do you stay flexible and shift in real time? The K.I.S.S. ~ Start your day happy! Here are three gritty realities to lean into: 1. Own Your Present Without Escaping Into the Past or Future You can't shift effectively if you're trapped by what's already happened or distracted by what might come next. The moment demands your full attention. That means facing your current challenges head-on, accepting what's there without blame or wishful thinking. Pretend you're on a battlefield. Your ability to see what's actually happening, right now—not what you hope or fear—will determine your next move. 2. Learn Fast, Then Lean Into Action Absorbing lessons without applying them is just mental busywork. Shifting means quick processing followed by decisive steps—even imperfect ones. Don't wait for all the answers or a perfect plan. Theory without action is a dead end. 3. Keep Your Identity Fluid—But Grounded Know who you are, but don't get rigid about it. Holding onto a fixed self-image blocks growth and blinds you to the signals life sends. Instead of pretending you've arrived, be honest about who you are and who you are becoming; where you are and where you want to go. Let's play Monday Morning Quarterback - Mama's Sports Center is in the house. Take, for example, the four NFL teams vying for a chance to play for the Super Bowl. If you watched the Broncos and the Patriots, you would have seen how the weather went from blue, sunny skies to a wintery mix of white snow with winds that made your eyes water. The Broncos did not figure out a way to shift in real time. However, the Patriots found a way to keep their defense effective, so they didn't have to worry about scoring another goal; it was more about holding onto the points they had and keeping the Broncos stuck way back in their own field position. If you believe life is about becoming, your daily shifts become part of a legacy, not just survival. You're upsetting the autopilot of complacency. Imagine if you stopped trying so hard to arrive or prove you made it. What if you simply became—trusting the process, embracing the shifts, adjusting in real time? How would that change how you show up daily? How differently would you see your world if you dropped the illusion of completeness? The truth is, real life demands adaptability. It demands awareness. It demands resilience. Those who master real-time shift don't waste time pretending they've finished their journey—they lean into what's next, eyes wide open. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo Remember, you're not aiming to be a finished product. You're crafting a living legacy. So stop acting as if you've arrived. Show up raw, real, and ready to shift—because that's what keeps you moving forward, no matter what storm you must weather. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? It's easy to walk into church on Sunday with a smile and a heart full of joy—or at least a glimpse of it. But ask yourself: how genuine is that moment? Is it real and life-giving? Or is it just a performance, a mask worn for the crowd, for appearances? God doesn't need the mask. He sees behind it. He knows the truth that we often try to hide, even from ourselves. No more words. Jesus said it plainly in Matthew 5, in the Beatitudes—a blueprint for living "God's way." It's a call to something deeper than words or surface-level faith. Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Matthew 5:1-12 (NIV) 5 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them. The Beatitudes He said: 3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Each blessing challenges us to live beyond the façade. We're not just called to show up in church and give lip service. We're called to be salt and light in the world. Salt preserves and flavors; light pushes back darkness and reveals the path. Jesus said in Matthew 5:13-16 (NIV) 13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. This is a disruptive invitation—to act with radical honesty, kindness, and purpose that cannot be ignored. The K.I.S.S. ~ No more words! No more words. That's your challenge. It's not about endless prayers spoken without action, or hollow promises whispered in quiet moments. It's about doing. It's about living out your faith in a way that's unquestionable. It's time to toss the mask aside and live as Jesus did: with authenticity, courage, and love that demands attention. I want to encourage your heart today—take A.I.M.: Action Ignites Motivation. When you act on what God calls you to do, your motivation isn't the hard part; it's the result. Actions fuel faith and fire up your spirit. Who doesn't need that spark to keep going, especially when the world drags us down or doubts creep in? Let this be your daily commitment: no more words, no more pretending. Show up real, show up bold, show up as the salt and light that God made you to be. When you do, you don't just change your own life—you change the world around you. You get to impact the world that you touch, and that's exactly what God desires. So today, put down the mask. Speak less—live more. Let your actions tell the story that words never could. - 2493952 Are You Chasing the Wrong Part of the Heart?Marriage. A word that conjures images of bliss, partnership, and forever—but also confusion, frustration, and unexpected challenges. When two people say, "I do," it isn't just a promise to love; it's an entry into a complicated dance of needs, expectations, and realities. And somewhere along the way, you might find yourself wondering: Are you chasing the wrong part of the heart? Let's be real—too many people step into marriage thinking it's all about them. They want their partner's role to serve their needs, validate their feelings, and eliminate inconveniences. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Spoiler alert: That kind of mindset is a shortcut to loneliness, not connection. So if marriage isn't about one person's selfish fulfillment, what is it really about? You know what it's about, but let me remind you. It's about two imperfect people coming together to choose each other every day, showing up with humility, effort, forgiving quickly, and a willingness to grow—not for themselves alone but for the we they've created. If you keep buying into the myth that marriage is about getting what you want, at some point you'll hit a wall. That wall usually comes calling when the glow of the honeymoon phase fades, and life's responsibilities—work stress, kids, bills—all pile on. That's when you need a reality check: What part of the heart are you really chasing? Are you after validation, control, convenience, or genuine connection? Identifying that is where the root of your troubles begins. Please note: if you are chasing the right part, then be willing to grow deeper in your marriage. In marriage, you must learn to course-correct to go deeper. The K.I.S.S. ~ Learn to course-correct to go deeper! So, how do you course-correct before you lose your way? Here are three non-negotiable moves every spouse must make to avoid chasing the wrong part of your spouse's heart. CAUTION: This is for people who are of sound mind, where abuse does not exist. 1. Quit Treating Your Spouse Like a Servant Being married doesn't mean you get a personal assistant for life's hard parts. If your love language sounds like "You owe me," chances are you're fueling resentment, not intimacy. Shift your focus from what you want to what you can give. Serve first, love second. It's not poetic fluff—it's the foundation of lasting respect, respect that is earned. 2. Make Vulnerability Your Strength, Not Weakness Stop hiding behind silence or defensiveness. Real connection demands you risk showing your cracks, your flaws. When you lead with openness instead of blame or withdrawal, you invite your spouse into your true, whole heart. That invitation alone can thaw the coldest distance. 3. Remember: It's "We," Not "Me" Married life is a joint venture with shared wins and losses. That means your happiness isn't about extracting value from your partner—it's about building something neither of you could achieve alone. This mindset shift rewires how you communicate, argue, and celebrate every victory, both big and small. Life is an adventure, so share it together! But there is still a lingering question: Where's the hope in your marriage? In marriage, hope lives in the rejection of entitlement and the acceptance of collaboration. Hope is found in the daily choice to show up, listen deeply, and fight for each other instead of against each other. You are on the same team! It's not glamorous; it's gritty and often tedious—but it's real, and it's powerful. If you're feeling lost or stuck, don't panic. Marriage is messy; growth is painful. But chasing the right part of the heart—the part that wants partnership, not possession—means your story isn't over yet. It's just getting real. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2503951 Prepare the WayWhen your children are little, parenting feels all-consuming. Overwhelm doesn't even seem like a fitting word, yet you're hands-on from feeding to teaching to fixing. Every day is full of immediate needs, constant crisis management, and unconditional love sprinkled throughout. It's easy to believe that how you prepare the way means just getting them through those early years. But then, they grow. They move into adolescence, young adulthood, and beyond—and suddenly the kind of parenting required shifts. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The challenges become less about diapers and homework, and more about identity, independence, big life choices, and emotional resilience. Yet the tricky part is that your responsibility doesn't pause; it evolves. The last thing you want is to be caught off guard when the next stage hits. Being prepared means adapting your mindset and skills before your kids need you to. The way you parent teenagers or young adults isn't the same way you parent toddlers—and that's exactly the point. Preparing the way is a lifelong commitment—not just to raise kids, but to grow with them. The K.I.S.S. ~ Prepare the way! Think about how you have parented your kids in the past. Have you made changes along the way as they go through their stages of life? Think back to a situation where you wished you had responded differently. Maybe it was when you were at the store, the movies, or church. Consider the environment and how you could have responded differently in: What you said The tone of voice used Discipline used, or lack thereof How it ended We can be so quick to try and put out a fire for hundreds of reasons. But what matters is how you prepare the way for them to learn the lesson. This isn't about your ego or how good a parent you are; it must be in the child's best interest. And yes, that means your response in how you prepare the way will differ for each child. One-size does not fit all! Are you exhausted just thinking about it? Well, that means you care!! So give yourself a high-five!! Don't beat yourself up over what you think you did wrong. Use your reflection to gain a deeper understanding of where you are and where your child needs you to grow. Here are the three ways you grow alongside your kids—no matter their age: 1. Stay Curious and Keep Learning Together Your kids don't stop growing—and neither should you. When you embrace curiosity instead of trying to have all the answers, you set a powerful example. Read that book, learn that new skill, or dig into what fascinates them. This isn't about pretending to be cool or chasing trends; it's about genuinely investing in the things your child cares about. Doing this together levels up your connection and shows that growth never stops. It sends the loud message that learning is a lifelong adventure, not a checklist. 2. Adapt Your Role as Their Needs Shift When kids are young, parents are fixers, teachers, sheriffs. But as they grow, your job shifts from controller to coach, from manager to mentor. This requires self-awareness and humility because the way you lead and support needs recalibration. Recognize when to step back, when to step in, and when to cheer on quietly from the sidelines. Your willingness to evolve moves your relationship beyond authority-based parenting into partnership and mutual respect. 3. Model Emotional Honesty and Resilience Growth isn't linear. Life throws curveballs, and the way forward isn't always clear. Let your kids see you wrestle with your own challenges, express authentic emotions, and bounce back. Showing how you handle setbacks teaches a crucial lesson: strength isn't about perfection—it's about persistence. Letting go of the "super-parent" act and embracing real humanity actually empowers your kids to do the same. If you look at Indiana University and how they won the College National Championship, you would see that their quarterback, Fernando Mendoza, wasn't raised with the best of everything. Instead, his mom and I'm sure his dad, taught him how to do his best in whatever circumstances he found himself in. He wasn't recruited by a top 10 football program. In fact, he was third string with more failures on the field than successes. That doesn't work well for a hopeful NFL quarterback. But Mendoza's mom did everything she could to the best of her ability, even with her diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis). When her children were young, they didn't know what mommy had been fighting as they were growing up. Just from a few things I've read since all the hype from her son's success on the field, Mendoza's mom can teach us all a few things: be who you are becoming, love more, and be present. Parenting doesn't stop when your kids hit milestones or chase their own dreams. The "way" you're preparing is never finished—it's a living, breathing path you pave together. Grow with them, adapt, and show up honestly. That's the living legacy your kids will remember. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2513950 Choose What You Carry ForwardSo much in life is left in the trenches of what we lost or what didn't make it. Success can leave scars as much as failures. But the sting is always greater when something does not go your way. Yet, that's not how your story gets to end. There is joy in the morning, and you get to choose what you carry forward. That choice isn't because of how much you know or the wit you've picked up along the way—though those add richness to your journey. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's because your power lies in what you decide to hold on to. What you bring with you shapes not just your next step, but your entire path ahead. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo The Apostle Paul knew the weight of what to leave behind and what to carry on. He said it plainly in Philippians 3:13-14: 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Paul teaches us that progress depends on consciously shedding the dead weight of the past and intentionally moving toward what lies ahead, what's right in front of you. Too often, we get stuck swirling in the rut of "what went wrong"—a relentless replay of failures and disappointments. But the trouble is that the longer you linger there, the more you settle in the trenches. You let your past become your prison. And where is the freedom in that? Freedom starts by choosing what you carry forward. The K.I.S.S. ~ Choose what you carry forward! Think about a forest — a living, growing forest. The seeds it carries forward are the future trees, the promise of fresh green under sunlit skies. Your life is no different. The seeds you plant today, the lessons you hold close, the hopes you refuse to bury — those are the things that grow into your "now." Create your now! Because it all begins by what you decide to carry forward. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:34: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Here's a clear call to live focused on today, not trapped by yesterday's shadows or tomorrow's anxieties. Carry forward your courage, your hard-won wisdom, your capacity to forgive—and most importantly, your choice to keep moving. Carry forward your resiliency, the smile that comes after storms, and the faith that better days are yours to claim. In the end, life's trenches are real, but they are not permanent. The difference between sinking and standing is your choice to carry forward what fuels growth, healing, and purpose. So—what will you choose to carry forward? You got this, because God's got you! - 2523949 Lean Into LeverageIf you have a life where everything is perfectly aligned—ideal schedule, boundless energy, and endless resources—great. This isn't for you. But for the rest of us? Especially when it comes to healthy living, the reality is messier, more complicated, and rarely perfect. So, instead of getting caught up in the magnitude of all the things 'health,' maybe it's all about how you lean into leverage. And not the leverage you are probably thinking of. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com That's why chasing some ideal "health" picture rarely lasts. Instead of drowning in the overwhelming list of habits, foods, workouts, and wellness trends, what if we shifted focus? What if thriving, really thriving, was less about perfection and more about leverage—leveraging exactly where you are and what you already have? Think about that word: leverage. It's about maximizing impact with the resources at hand. Not waiting for the "right time" or "perfect conditions." It's pulling strength from your current situation, your season of life, and making it work for you. If you're one of those who pick a word, feel free to share it with me at connect@createyournow.com. Let's keep this real, grounded, and actionable—create a system for the season. The K.I.S.S. ~ Create a system for the season! Because healthy living isn't about some cookie-cutter diet or a one-size-fits-all formula. It's about creating a system—a personal, flexible system that fits your unique season right now. Without that, you're just fighting an uphill battle that guarantees burnout and frustration. So what are three practical moves anyone can make to build a system that works in their season? Take Stock of Your Current Resources: What time do you realistically have? What food options are accessible? What movement feels good? Not what "should" be there, but what's real. This honest inventory becomes your leverage foundation. Set Micro Goals That Fit Your Capacity: Forget giant leaps. Focus on small wins—a 10-minute walk, adding water before coffee, swapping one snack for fruit. These are steps that add up without derailing your life. Create Habits That Align With Your Energy and Schedule: If mornings are rushed, maybe evening is your movement time. If cooking feels impossible, consider prepping simple, nutritious meals on a weekend. Systems are flexible, not rigid. Remember, the path to well-being isn't a sprint; it's a steady climb. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo If your season feels complicated—career shifts, parenting chaos, health setbacks—that's all the more reason to lean into leverage. Use what you have where you are. Don't throw in the towel just because the terrain is rough. Build your system for the season. Because that's where real progress lives, and it sticks. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2533948 Play YOUR Game Always! It's easy to get caught up in the hustle: where you're going, what you need to do next, and—most dangerously—what everyone else is doing. When the pressure piles up, it's tempting to look sideways, to compare your progress, your strategy, or your style to those around you. But if you want to reach places you haven't been, you have to play YOUR game always! That means something simple yet incredibly powerful: show up as YOU every single day. No noise, no side distractions, no sneaky comparison traps. Just your game on your terms. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Sounds easier said than done, right? Think about the recent NFL Playoffs or the College Football Playoff Championship between Indiana and Miami. What's obvious from watching those games? When players obsess over what the other team is doing—trying to outsmart or outrun them—they leave their own unique talents on the bench. The moment you start chasing someone else's moves, you're selling yourself short. Playing your game doesn't mean you ignore the competition. It means accepting that you cannot control what the other team does, just like you can't control every curveball life throws your way. Your focus has to be on executing your unique skill set, your plan, and your grind. The K.I.S.S. ~ Play your game always! Why does it feel so natural—and so easy—to fall into everyone else's game? Because it's comfortable. It's mindless. You don't have to plan or sweat your own progress when you're simply reacting to what others are doing. But ask any pro coach or seasoned player—they know real success is about sticking to your playbook. It's about your response, not your reaction. Too many people live in a reactionary world. And in doing so, that is only going to hold you hostage and lower the ceiling. Take the Indiana vs. Miami game as a case in point. Sure, their game plan was to block runs and passes, but their real focus was on wearing down Indiana's quarterback, Fernando Mendoza. They left him with a bloody mouth, but Miami still did not stop the momentum. Mendoza played his game, not theirs. Did you see the 4th and 5, and the 4th and 4? He zigzags in and out only to dive for a touchdown! That brought the score to 24-14, Indiana. "Progress isn't accidental. Progress is crafted by relentless action that fuels motivation and sparks momentum. Without owning your piece of the puzzle, failure sneaks into the cracks more often than victory." ~ Kristianne Wargo So pause right now. Take a cue from those players and coaches grinding on the field. Your best move is to play YOUR game always! "You have two minutes to go out and take it, and we sent out and took it." ~ D'Angelo Ponds (DB, Indiana) Defensive MVP 2026 Own your unique strengths, your pace, your path. Keep your eyes ahead—not sideways—and watch how far you'll go. There's no victory in imitation. The real win is in being unapologetically you, all day, every day. "Be present. Be incredible. - 2543947 Why Fear Is Not What's Holding You BackFear has a sneaky way of showing up and rallying an entire battalion of emotions. Doubt, anxiety, indecision, frustration—they all line up behind fear, forming an invisible yet impenetrable wall that paralyzes you from moving forward. So, have you ever wondered why fear is not what's holding you back? When those wall feels high, your first instinct might be to bulldoze through with brute force. Push harder. Hustle nonstop. Throw all your energy at the problem until something breaks. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com But here's where most people get it wrong: force doesn't break barriers; it attracts hesitation. When you push recklessly, fear pushes back harder. It feeds on your frustration and grows stronger. This isn't about willpower. It's about strategy, mindset, and most importantly, consistency. Taking a Page from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: Consistency Over Force In 1955, a single act of courage by Rosa Parks ignited the Montgomery Bus Boycott—a monumental stand against racial injustice and segregation. But it's tempting to imagine Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. charging headfirst into the fray in a fiery burst of passion and leading a quick victory. Reality is far more powerful. Dr. King's role in the boycott was not a sprint. It was a grueling marathon. For 381 days (the length of the boycott), he stood firmly, leading with courage and unwavering resolve. The risks were real: Protesters faced arrests Physical threats Economic hardships Intense social pressure Fear was a constant shadow. But Dr. King and the Black community didn't let fear dictate their next move. Instead, they made a conscious decision: the bigger risk was letting fear and inaction win. They didn't try to "force" change overnight. They built a road of small but consistent steps—a daily commitment to justice and dignity, no matter the obstacles. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo The boycott eventually succeeded. It ended segregation on Montgomery buses and sent a shockwave through the Civil Rights movement. More than that, it tore down the mental chains fear had imposed—and proved that consistent, deliberate action can break even the toughest walls. Why Fear Is Not Your Enemy—Paralysis Is Fear on its own isn't the problem. Fear is a warning signal; an honest flag raised by your brain to highlight risk. The real enemy is what fear invites: inaction. When fear paralyzes you, it's not protecting you. It's imprisoning you. It builds a fortress around your potential and keeps you where it's safe but unfulfilled. Dr. King's example teaches us that stepping into fear is where growth happens—not by pushing harder in a moment of panic, but by showing up day after day with a clear purpose. If you want to escape fear, you must break the chains and build a road of consistency. The K.I.S.S. ~ Build a road of consistency! How to Build Your Road of Consistency and Break Free If you want to break the chains fear wraps around you, don't chase a moment of explosive motivation. Instead, build a strategy of steady, intentional steps; be mindful of what you are doing and be consistent. Here's how: 1. Start Small and Build Momentum You don't need to conquer the world all at once. Dr. King didn't win Civil Rights overnight. He showed up again and again, delivering speeches, organizing boycotts, and inspiring others. Ask yourself: what is one actionable step I can take today? Then do it again tomorrow. And the next day. The compounding power of these small actions will build unstoppable momentum. Take A.I.M.—Action Ignites Motivation! 2. Anchor Yourself to Your 'Why' Fear gains ground when your purpose feels blurry. Dr. King and those who participated in the boycott fought with a crystal-clear "why"—freedom, equality, dignity. When threats loomed, returning to that core reason gave them the strength to endure. It became the "What's next?" in their story. You need your own anchor. Write it down if you must. When fear knocks, remind yourself why you started. 3. Create Accountability Structures Consistency thrives in connection. Dr. King wasn't a lone warrior. The Montgomery community held each other accountable through organized meetings, support networks, and a shared commitment. They knew surrendering was not an option. Find your tribe. Whether it's a mentor, mastermind group, coach, or accountability partner—someone who challenges you, calls you out, and holds you to the standard of showing up. Fear is real. But it doesn't get to decide your fate. The bigger risk isn't in feeling afraid. The bigger risk is letting fear build a wall so high that no action can climb it. If Dr. King's legacy teaches us anything, it's this: Break the chains—not with quick force, but with steady, purposeful resolve. The road to freedom is paved with consistent steps, one after another, in the face of fear. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2553946 Find Peace in the Midst of TroublesTroubles come to all of us—and how we handle them defines our peace and effectiveness. Sarah Young's insight from Jesus Calling drives this home: "Rehearsing your troubles results in experiencing them many times, whereas you are meant to go through them only when they actually occur." You can find peace in the midst of troubles. This truth challenges a common tendency—to ruminate on problems long before (or after) they happen, replaying them in our minds like a broken record. Instead, God calls us to a different way of handling struggle, a way rooted in trust, courage, and rest. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Joshua 1:5-9 is a powerful passage that reveals God's blueprint for facing challenges. In it, God tells Joshua, "I will never leave you nor forsake you," and commands him to "be strong and courageous." This isn't just a pep talk; it's a deep assurance that God's presence is not conditional on circumstances. The key to peace amid trouble is remembering that God is with you—not sometimes, but always. The K.I.S.S. ~ Find peace in the midst of troubles! So how do we find peace in the midst of troubles? First, God commands us to "keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night." Peace isn't found in obsessing over the problem, but in grounding ourselves in God's promises and wisdom. Instead of cycling through worries, anchored minds dwell on truth. The Bible becomes a refuge, a source of guidance, and a reminder that you are not alone. Second, God's call to "be strong and courageous" is a command to take action, but the kind of action that flows from faith, not fear. Courage is not the absence of trouble but the refusal to be paralyzed by it. When you lean into God's strength rather than your own, you find a calm bravery—that steadiness that doesn't scream or panic because you know God has already gone before you. Third, God insists we not "let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth." This means ongoing commitment. Peace is not a one-and-done moment. It's a daily choice to fight off the habit of rehearsing worries and fears—a choice to bring every troubling thought back to God's Word and Presence. Finally, we must wrestle with the fact that our troubles don't have the final say. God's promise to Joshua was a guarantee of His presence, and that same promise stands for you today. When doubts attack and worries flare, you have a spiritual anchor to hold fast. The peace God offers is not the absence of trouble but the presence of Himself in the trouble. "If you find yourself stuck replaying troubles, caught in endless "what ifs," put down the script and pick up God's promises." ~ Kristianne Wargo Breathe in courage; choose to dwell not on the storms but on the One who commands them. Let Joshua 1:5-9 be your reminder: you don't face struggles alone. And when you stop rehearsing trouble, you begin to experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2563945 The Heartbeat of a Powerhouse MarriageMarriage isn't about becoming one person. It's about two whole individuals choosing to grow together in a way that creates something far stronger than the sum of its parts. But the reality? That kind of connection doesn't come easy. It takes diligent, ongoing effort for each spouse to develop themselves as confident individuals, and then to intentionally build a relationship that thrives on shared purpose and deep connection. That's the heartbeat of a powerhouse marriage. Consider Dan and Joanne Miller. Dan Miller, the New York Times Best-Selling author who passed two years ago, left a lasting legacy—not just in his work, but in the way he and Joanne modeled marriage. Now, even though Dan was an incredible author, Joanne was an author as well, along with being an artist. She had her talents just as much as Dan had his. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Unfortunately, in January of 2024, Dan graduated and went home to be with our Lord. Yet, his legacy still lives on through Joanne and his children. However, this is not all about him. Dan and Joanne were the dynamic, powerhouse couple who changed people's lives for the better. But this is where we have to pause. They were not a "powerhouse" couple because of income, fame, or status. No, their "powerhouse" came from their heart—the mutual respect for each other's individuality paired with an unshakable partnership that powered every part of their life together. You don't have to be a bestseller or a public figure to create a "powerhouse" marriage. If you looked at your marriage, how would you describe it? What words would you use? What feelings come up when you think about you and your spouse being together, yet being an individual, too? You can become a "powerhouse" couple and have a marriage that stands out because of two hearts becoming one. But you must be will to build that foundation. The K.I.S.S. ~ Build that "powerhouse" foundation! Here's what couples must focus on to build that foundation: 1. Cultivate Individual Confidence Before you can build a strong "we," you must invest in "me." Each partner should pursue personal growth, embrace their passions, and develop a strong sense of identity outside the marriage. This isn't selfish—it's necessary. When both partners feel confident and whole on their own, they bring their best selves into the relationship instead of seeking completion through the other. Dan and Joanne each had their unique strengths and contributions. That individuality was the soil in which their marriage roots grew deep and healthy. If you're unsure where you stand as an individual, start there. Get crystal clear on your values, purpose, and goals. Who are you as an individual? And know that you change, too, as you grow in experience and age. 2. Build Intentional Connection and Communication Strong couples don't just "click" by accident. They work harder than most on the fundamentals: honesty, vulnerability, and active listening. Sharing your truths—even when uncomfortable—and intentionally tuning in to your partner's needs create a connection that weathers storms. Dan and Joanne's marriage exemplified this daily commitment to connection. They prioritized conversations that mattered, supported each other's dreams, and openly navigated challenges with transparency and grace. That's how a "powerhouse" couple stays aligned on life's ups and downs. 3. Create Shared Purpose and Celebrate Teamwork Two confident individuals coming together create a powerhouse only when they are aligned on their shared mission in life. This mission could be raising a family, building a business, serving a community, or simply choosing joy in everyday life—but it must be a joint pursuit. Dan and Joanne shared a heart for inspiring and helping others thrive and live out their God-given purpose, which fueled their partnership far beyond any personal accolade or achievement. Find your "why" together, make decisions as a team, and celebrate wins—big or small—as a collective force. Dan and Joanne didn't do everything together, but they did do life together. Why settle for "just married" when you can be a power couple in the truest sense? Being a powerhouse couple isn't about wealth or status; it's about becoming two strong, whole people intentionally growing a relationship rooted in respect, communication, and shared vision. It's hard work—but Dan and Joanne Miller's legacy teaches us that the payoff is a marriage that not only lasts but thrives as a force for good in the world. Since Dan's passing, you can still see the ripple effect of him and Joanne being a "powerhouse" couple. Just because they are separated by life and a physical death, has not separated their hearts. I know Joanne would say they are eternally connected, and she's excited about the day when she sees her husband again. But in the meantime, they are still a "powerhouse" couple because of how they continue to make an impact on the world they touch. I hope this inspires you, not to be like them, but to become the "powerhouse" couple God is calling you to. You are created for more in marriage! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2573944 Love Them More Than It HurtsWhy do our children challenge us so much that it strangles our hearts? Raising kids is tough on parents; who cares about how the kids feel? Yet we deeply care about them. However, it's during those difficult times that we learn to love them more than it hurts. Raising kids is brutal sometimes. On the surface, it might seem like parents should just lay down the rules, set boundaries, and move on. But if it were that simple, parenting wouldn't tear us up so deeply. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com So why do our kids challenge us in ways that strangle our hearts? We care fiercely! We want the best for our children, but they don't always see it—or want to see it—in the moment. They might respond with a shrug, an eye roll, or that glazed-over stare that screams, "You don't get me." And when what we're trying to communicate is critical to their well-being and growth, that rejection crashes into us hard. It stops us in our tracks. We feel that gut punch, the sinking ache, an almost physical pain like our heart is breaking. But that's the paradox: we love so deeply that it hurts. And it's within this pain that real love reveals itself. We don't just want to get through the day with minimal drama. We want our kids to become strong, resilient people who thrive in life. But that often means standing firm through storms of frustration and rebellion. When our kids wrestle with their own battles—identity, independence, making mistakes—we're right there, heart exposed, fearing and hoping all at once. Though the breakthrough is when we learn to love them more than it hurts, what we're doing isn't just enduring the pain — we're transforming it. Instead of reacting in fear or anxiety, we hold steady. We listen. We choose patience. We remind ourselves that those eye rolls are part of their growth, not a rejection of our love. Who knew parenthood could break your heart over and over? Somewhere along the way, society paints parents as unbreakable, invincible, the ones who must always have it all together. But real parents know the truth—we are vulnerable, we feel deeply, and yes, our hearts bleed. That's why we must love them more than it hurts. The K.I.S.S. ~ Love them more than it hurts! So, how do you actually love your kids more than it hurts? Here are three hard-hitting moves every parent can lean on: Face the Hurt Without Running from It. The emotional pain is real, and it's okay. Don't let yourself bury or ignore those feelings. Acknowledge the ache of watching your child struggle or push away. It's a sign you're deeply invested, and that investment is the soil in which love grows. Anchor Yourself to What Matters Long-Term. When your child's behavior triggers your heart, remind yourself of the bigger picture. This moment is not the whole story—it's a single thread in the tapestry of their growth. Keep your eyes on their potential, not just their defiance. Choose Action Over Reaction. Loving more than it hurts means moving beyond your immediate feelings to intentional, grounded choices. Listen more. Speak with clarity and calm. Set boundaries that protect both your child and yourself, even when it's hard. Your steady leadership is the space where trust grows. Letting your heart bleed for your children might feel like pain now, but it is one of the purest forms of love. The hurt sharpens your empathy, fuels your courage, and slows you down enough to really hear what your child needs. The sting of their resistance—though painful—is the crucible where your love is tested and strengthened. As you know, parenting is not easy. It's brutal, messy, heartbreaking, and beautiful all at once. But when you learn to love your children more than it hurts, you gift them something far beyond discipline or advice. You gift them unwavering love that withstands the storms—love that will carry them, and you, through every challenge life throws your way. "Be present. Be incredible. - 2583943 Give Up What Doesn't WorkImagine this for a moment: You're gearing up for the Super Bowl of your life. Every move calculated, every drill intentional, every moment optimized. Would you spend time doing things that don't work—things that have brought you zero results? Of course not. You'd double down on what delivers every single time. So why not give up what doesn't work? So why, in the everyday game of life and business, do we cling so stubbornly to habits, strategies, or mindsets that have proven ineffective? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The honest truth is this: we get comfortable. Comfort dulls our edge and convinces us to keep doing what we've always done because it doesn't ask us to think harder or stretch further. But comfort is the enemy of growth. Zig Ziglar said it best: "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got." Holding on to what doesn't work is a surefire way to stay stuck in a loop of frustration, limited results, and missed opportunities. What if you approached your life like training for that Super Bowl, ruthlessly shedding what weighs you down? What if you gave up tactics, beliefs, or routines that have never pushed you toward your goals? Jim Rohn put it simply: "Don't wish it were easier. Wish you were better." Getting better starts with letting go. This isn't about denying how hard change is—far from it. The Bible reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." There is a time to hold on and a time to let go. Recognizing the season when something no longer serves you is crucial to stepping into something greater. The K.I.S.S. ~ Give up what doesn't work! Giving up what doesn't work creates space—space for fresh ideas, new energy, and different results. It invites you to challenge yourself in ways you've never entertained before. And yes, it will demand grit and discomfort. But that's exactly where growth lives. You may feel vulnerable with each change, but vulnerability is the testing ground for resilience. And every time you intentionally shed the ineffective, you arm yourself with clarity and courage to face whatever's next. So ask yourself: What parts of your approach, your mindset, or your daily routine are dead weight? What have you been clutching out of habit or fear? It's time to cut loose. Prepare for your personal Super Bowl by giving up what doesn't work—and you'll free yourself to do more, be more, and win more. You've got this—Create your now! - 2593942 Do More Than DreamAre you one of the millions who want to live a healthier lifestyle than where you are now? Every new year brings a wave of resolutions promising weight loss, better habits, and a healthier life. It's no surprise that "live healthier" is one of the most common resolutions out there. But resolutions are just ideas floating in your head. They don't carry weight—no pun intended—until you turn them into action; do more than dream. Why does this happen year after year? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Because wanting something isn't the same as doing something. Dreaming about a healthier you is comfortable. It feels good to imagine the results without putting in the work. But comfort never changed anyone's life. If you really want to live differently this year, it's time to stop saying and start doing. The K.I.S.S. ~ Stop saying and start doing! So, what does it actually take to live a healthier lifestyle? Here are three essential moves you need to own—starting now. Make Intentional Choices Every Day Healthy living isn't a grand event; it's a series of small decisions stacked consistently. Eating a balanced meal, choosing water over soda, moving your body—even when motivation feels low—these daily choices set the foundation. Stop waiting for "perfect" moments or a "fresh start." The real fresh start is right now, with what you choose at this moment. Set Clear, Measurable Goals Vague resolutions like "eat better" or "exercise more" don't cut it. Get specific—what does "better" mean? Maybe it's adding two servings of vegetables a day or walking 30 minutes, five times a week. Track your progress and hold yourself accountable. When you can measure it, you can manage it. Build a Support System That Pushes You Forward Going it alone is a recipe for falling back into old habits. Surround yourself with people who challenge your excuses, share your vision, and hold you responsible. Whether it's a workout buddy, a coach, or a community with similar goals—connection will keep the flame alive when your own willpower fades. You can meet and even exceed your health goals this year. But it's going to take more than dreaming—it demands intentional action, strategic planning, and real commitment. This isn't about quick fixes or magical transformations. It's about grit, consistency, and moving forward—even when it's hard. So here's the bottom line: resolutions are just thoughts until you turn them into deeds. Put down the wishful thinking and pick up the work. This year, do more than dream. Make it happen. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2603941 Organize Your Space to Make Room for ActionNothing fuels ambition quite like setting out on a bold adventure toward your goals and dreams. You've got big plans, and the vision of where you want to go is crystal clear. But here's the truth: dreaming alone won't get you there. To climb that peak, you need a launching pad — and that starts when you organize your space to make room for action. Think about it. If all you ever did was sit back, waiting for success or opportunity to arrive without effort, how far would you get? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Spoiler Alert: Not very far. Action isn't just a step along the way; it's the engine that drives everything forward. Right now, we're in that magic window—call it the season of resets, New Year's resolutions, or fresh starts—where you get to hit the refresh button. This is your chance to lay the groundwork for daily routines and rhythms that set you up for consistent execution throughout the year. The K.I.S.S. ~ Organize your space to make room for action! But it requires intentionality. Chaos and clutter don't just take up physical space—they hijack your mental bandwidth, distract your focus, and stall your momentum. Organizing your environment isn't about obsessing over neatness; it's about crafting a space that fuels decisive action. Here's the game plan: Take A.I.M. Action ignites motivation. Intentionality sharpens your focus. Momentum carries you past resistance. Start small. Clear your desk, declutter your digital files, or designate a specific corner for your side hustle. "When your space reflects your priorities, it sends a powerful signal to your brain: This is where work gets done, where ideas turn into results." ~ Kristianne Wargo Remember, organization is only the first move. It makes room for action by removing obstacles. But you still have to step forward. No miracle will arrive if you stay stuck behind a pile of half-finished to-do lists or distractions. So stop waiting. Reset your environment. Set your sights on what matters and make space for the daily grind that moves your dreams from thinking to becoming. Because when you organize your space to make room for action, you're not just tidying up—you're building the launchpad for everything to follow. "Be present. Be incredible. - 2613940 Toss Out the Thoughts and Doubts that Hold You BackJust because it's a new year doesn't mean a reset happens automatically. In reality, most of our attempts to start fresh are clouded by lingering fears about what we didn't finish, didn't accomplish, or simply gave up on. If you want to move ahead and actually reach your goals and dreams this year, you have to toss out the thoughts and doubts that hold you back. I don't know about you, but over time, repeated failures do more than just sting — they infect our mindset and sabotage our ambition. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's no surprise that most people quit their New Year's resolutions within 8 days. Eight days. That's shockingly quick to drop what they claimed they wanted just a short while before. If you want a real change, you've got to look at the one place where change begins—your mind. Zig Ziglar put it well: "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." The catch is, you have to believe you can, and that means clearing the mental clutter and doubts that keep you stuck. The K.I.S.S. ~ Scrub your mind! If you want to get rid of what doesn't work, it's time to do some cleaning. Just like you scrub your toilet, you gotta scrub your mind. Do you really want to hold onto that yuck and muck? Here are three things to scrub your mind clean and bulldoze a pathway to lasting change: 1. Recognize and Challenge Your Negative Thoughts Your mind is a battleground between what you fear and what you want. Being aware of your negative thoughts and actively questioning their truth shrinks their power over you. Ask yourself, "Is this doubt based on fact—or just my fear talking?" Replace "I can't" with, "What if I actually can?" Proverbs 23:7 reminds us, "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." What you repeatedly think shapes your actions and outcomes. 2. Anchor Yourself in a Higher Vision Doubt thrives in uncertainty, but when you're rooted in a clear, higher purpose, self-defeating thoughts lose their grip. Write down what achieving your goal means beyond just you: the impact on your family, your community, your future. Ziglar also said, "People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing—that's why we recommend it daily." Commit daily to your vision and why it matters—remind yourself every day why quitting is not an option. 3. Take Small, Consistent Action to Build Momentum Paralysis breeds doubt. Action breeds confidence. Pick one small step each day that moves you forward. It doesn't have to be perfect; it just has to happen. James 1:22 advises, "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." When you back your thoughts with action, you break the cycle of doubt and prove to yourself that change is possible—and you are capable. "A fresh year is just a number unless the thoughts that govern your mind do something new." ~ Kristianne Wargo Toss those doubts. Garbage the excuses. Remember: the only thing truly holding you back is that voice in your head telling you to stop before you even start. As Zig Ziglar said, "Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude." It's time to change your mind, and the reset will follow. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2623939 Man Shall Not Live on Bread AloneIn one of the most powerful moments of Jesus' life, when He was tested in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-4), He faced raw human hunger. The devil tempted Him with a straightforward challenge: "Turn these stones into bread." After all, Jesus is hungry after fasting for forty days and forty nights. The need was real, the desire immediate. Yet Jesus' response cuts deeper than physical need: "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" That reply is not just about hunger or sustenance. It's a declaration about the source of true life. Physical bread, mere sustenance, will not sustain us fully. Life itself draws from something higher, something eternal—God's word. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com When We Demand Our Own Bread How often do we approach God like that temptation? We come with our desires, our "stones," hoping He'll just turn them into bread for us. We ask for answers that fit our timetable, for blessings that suit our preferences, and for control over our circumstances that comfort us. But living by bread alone is a hollow existence. It's easy to confuse God's promises with our own plans. We want quick fixes, easy wins, or signs that confirm what we already decided. In these moments, we ask God to do what serves us, not what grows and stretches us. But What If We Asked for God to Give Us the Desires of His Heart? Imagine flipping the script—asking God not to bless your own agenda but to birth the divine desires He places in your heart. That sounds risky because it means surrender. It means stepping into uncertainty and patience. But it also means aligning yourself with the source of wisdom, purpose, and peace. When we pursue God's desires, not just our hunger, life begins to shift. Our decisions become less about control and more about trust. Our actions grow out of faith, not fear. "Walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7) Our hopes align with His promises, and our struggles gain meaning beyond temporary pain. The K.I.S.S. ~ Man shall not live on bread alone! Breaking Bread With God, Not Crafting It Out of Control As the new year unfolds, here's a tough but essential question: Will you break bread with God—spending time in His Word, resting in His promises, and embracing His timing? Or will you try to make your own bread—forcing solutions out of desperation, control, and frustration? Jesus modeled something rare and revolutionary. In the wilderness, despite hunger and hardship, He chose obedience over expedience. Later, He commands us directly in Matthew 4:10: "Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only." That choice isn't about perfection but commitment—to trust God even when the easier path beckons. What Are You Truly Hungry For? Take a moment to ask yourself: What desires drive the prayers I bring before God? Are they merely for comfort and security, or for the deeper calling He has placed on my life? Where do I need clarity—about my purpose, my decisions, or my faith? Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Final Thought Living by every word from God's mouth means more than memorizing scripture or reciting verses. It means letting His truth sculpt your desires, shape your choices, and sustain you when the stones of life look scarce and hard. This year, break bread with God. Let Him feed your soul first, and watch how every other hunger falls into place. You don't just need bread to live—you need God's word to create your now and truly live. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2633938 Don't Root Against Your SpouseIt's easy to get super focused on other things in life, from the home to the family to the career to even the pets. Amid all this noise, the one person you vowed to stand beside can sometimes fade into the background. But if you want a marriage that lasts, one that can withstand the relentless pressures of life, there's a simple but powerful rule: don't root against your spouse. The truth is, it's dadgum hard to keep your spouse front and center when every other part of your life is screaming louder. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Work deadlines pile up, the kids have endless needs, bills demand attention, and somewhere in there, you're expected to keep your own sanity intact. The constant barrage of responsibilities can drown out your best intentions, making it feel impossible to carve out space for your partner. But that's exactly why rooting for your spouse isn't optional—it's vital. "When life yanks your focus in every direction but one, deliberately choosing your spouse as your priority is what separates a floundering marriage from an incredible one." ~ Kristianne Wargo What does rooting for your spouse mean? It means being the biggest cheerleader in the room, the most devoted lover in the house, and the unapologetic truth-teller when your partner needs honesty the most—all to honor the person who said "I do" alongside you. Is this even possible? Can two people build a marriage that not only survives but thrives through the ups and downs, the changes, and the curveballs life throws? I'm here to tell you, absolutely YES! But—and this is a big BUT—you have to want it desperately enough to put in the work. So you've got to root for your spouse daily. The K.I.S.S. ~ Root for your spouse daily! Rooting for your spouse is a daily choice, a commitment to your union. What have you been doing lately? What did the holidays look like? Here are three crucial ways to make sure you're on the rooting team instead of opposing it. Show Up as Their Loudest Cheerleader Supporting your spouse means genuinely celebrating their wins—big or small. Whether it's a promotion, a personal goal, or even just getting through a tough day, be the person who amplifies their pride, not sows doubt. A marriage thrives when both partners feel seen and backed up like a champion in their corner. Speak Love and Truth with Equal Passion Being devoted isn't about blind agreement. Sometimes rooting for your spouse requires the courage to hold a mirror to what's not working, delivered with kindness and respect. Honesty in love means having tough conversations that lead to growth, not division. Commit to both uplifting and challenging each other for the sake of your shared future. Prioritize Them When Everything Else Competes for Attention Life's demands are real; time and energy get drained fast. But nobody else should ever come before your spouse—not your career, your hobbies, or even your kids. Rooting for your partner means showing up consistently and making them a priority, even when it's inconvenient. That steady devotion is what builds trust and resilience. Rooting against your spouse is like rooting against your own team. It's a slow bleed that eventually fractures what could have been unbreakable. But rooting for them? That fuels a marriage that can endure storms, embrace changes, and come out stronger on the other side. You can have that marriage. It's within reach. But it demands a fierce choice every day: to stand with your spouse, not against them. Are you ready to be the spouse who roots loud and proud? The one who builds a living legacy, not just a life? Because if you are, the marriage you dreamed of isn't just possible—it's inevitable. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? - 2643937 Put the "Parent" Back in ParentingToo many parents today are caught chasing the mirage of "being friends" with their kids — seeking approval and camaraderie instead of stepping fully into their role as parents. Let's be blunt: parenting isn't about winning a popularity contest. It's about showing up as the adults who love fiercely, set firm boundaries, and deliver discipline that actually sticks. If you want your children to thrive and leave a lasting impact on the world, you must put the "parent" back in parenting. Why Parents Must Parent, Not "Friend" Friendship with your kids can seem like an easy, feel-good shortcut, but it's a trap. When parents try to be friends, they soften rules, dilute consequences, and avoid hard conversations — all in the name of "keeping peace." The problem? Kids crave guidance and structure. Left without clear leadership, they'll wrestle to find footing in a world that demands accountability and grit. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The core duty of a parent is crystal clear: love your children unconditionally, hold them accountable with clear boundaries, and discipline with intention so lessons don't fade with time. That discipline isn't punishment — it's training for life. How to Reclaim Your Role as Parent Getting back to basics isn't complicated, but it demands that parents get honest about where their attention is and how they engage with their kids: Put the Phone Down, Look Up You can't parent well if your eyes and mind are glued to a screen. Make a conscious effort to unplug when you're around your children. See what they're doing, notice their mood shifts, and recognize their daily battles. Presence is the foundation of influence. Reclaim the Dinner Table The dinner table is more than a place to eat; it's a prime spot for connection. Use it to listen — really listen — to what your children are telling you about their lives. Resist the urge to interrupt, correct, or fill the silence. Ask open-ended questions that invite sharing. Ask, Don't Assume Jumping to conclusions or putting words in your child's mouth kills trust. Instead, ask sincere questions about how they feel and what they think. Reflect back what you hear to show you're paying attention — no agendas, no filters. The K.I.S.S. ~ Put the "parent" back in parenting! Now it may seem impossible, but truly, it is not impossible! You can be the parent you have been called to be, not by your own strength, but because of the heart God gave you. The best thing you can do is be open to what will make the difference for your children in the long run. The short run might be a little challenging, but you are stronger and can be the best parent you want to be. Three Bold Moves Parents Can Make to Raise Impactful Kids Set Non-Negotiable Boundaries Kids need guardrails — not because you want to control them, but because the world outside your home is full of risks. Define clear rules around behavior, screen time, respect, and responsibility. Consistency here is non-negotiable. Use Discipline as a Teaching Moment Discipline isn't about punishment; it's about imprinting important life lessons so your child internalizes right from wrong. Make consequences logical, appropriate to their personalities and life stages, timely, and connected to the behavior. And follow through every time; consistency is the key. Flaky discipline breeds chaos. Build Daily Rituals of Connection Whether it's a quick check-in before bedtime or weekend walks, build habits that strengthen your relationship. These aren't just feel-good moments — they're investments in your child's emotional and spiritual foundation. Becoming a Parent Who Leaves a Legacy Being a good parent happens naturally enough — you love your kids and want the best. But being a great parent who leaves an indelible mark on your child's heart and mind requires grit: dedication, resilience, and relentless perseverance. It means choosing hard truths over easy comfort every day. So ask yourself: Will this year be a year where you just show up, or will it be the year you double down on what really matters? Your children's futures, their confidence, and their ability to affect the world depend on you being the parent they deserve — not just their friend. Make it count. Make the lessons stick. Be the parent who raises not just a child, but a living legacy who will go out and impact the world that they touch. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
