Midday Prayer on Psalm 27:14

Dear Lord, we confess our impatience and our desire to control what only you can guide. In the waiting, we often lose sight of your timing and try to create blessings you never asked us to manufacture. Forgive us for stepping outside the roles you’ve called us to and for acting out of fear instead of faith. Teach us to rest in your sovereignty, even when the path is unclear. Give us strength to trust your timing and humility to remain where you’ve placed us. Help us wait with hope—believing you are always working for our good. Renew our hearts and remind us that your faithfulness never fails. When fear tempts us to act apart from you, let your Spirit draw us back to obedience. Thank you for your mercy, patience, and perfect plan. Amen.
