Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord Jesus, how can I ever repay you the debt that I owe you? It amazes me when I contemplate the magnitude of what you did. You broke the back of Satan’s grip on mankind and destroyed the fear of death. You purchased us out of bondage not with silver or gold but with your precious blood. I am blood bought and transferred out of death and destruction into the glorious kingdom of Jesus Christ. You prepared the way of salvation for me. I celebrate Christmas and remember the beautiful baby boy born in a manger among the cattle because there was no room at the inn. He was born in the humblest of circumstances to an innocent teenage girl and grew among common folks. John saw the anointing on his life and his spirit leaped with joy as he declared, “BEHOLD, the lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” What a powerful statement and divine revelation. No more darkness, no more injustice, no more sin, death, or destruction. REJOICE! The suffering servant of God has come to bear our sins and deliver us from evil. Thank you dearest savior, with all my heart. In Jesus name, amen.
