Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, you want me to "sit still" and let you work out your plans for my life. You will not rest until you have finished the good work you started in my life. I feel like an unruly child always asking, "are we there yet?" I wanted everything yesterday, but learning to rest in the process is a discipline that's difficult to learn. The process is where my faith is tested. I want my prayers answered right away, but sometimes the answers take longer. Help me trust, hope and believe until the answers come. You will not rest until you have accomplished all that you have promised. Amen.
