Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, I pray you will raise up Godly leaders like Joshua and Moses. I need leaders I can trust. Men and women who take the time to hear from you so they use wisdom in the decisions they make concerning my well being. There are too many leaders that are power hungry and compromise the truth to draw crowds to build their names more than the Lords. Raise up pastors who care for their people rather than manipulate them. I trust the pastoral leadership who have Godly oversight of my life to confirm your will and direction when I need it. As I submit to you Lord, I also submit to the leadership you have placed over me. I trust you to speak through them. I will consider their directions for my life and trust they have prayed and heard from God on my behalf. I believe you will use them to confirm what you have already spoken to my heart. I thank you for leadership that is faithful in prayer and is a spiritual covering over me. I know they’re prayers are for my protection as I am sent out to do your will. It is a great comfort to know I am not alone when I yield to you and your covering over my life. I am emboldened by their prayers and know I am in your perfect will. I thank you Lord and pray all these things in the name of Jesus, Amen.
