Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, as I come into your presence your love permeates every fiber of my being. Even as Moses came down from Mount Sinai, after receiving the two tablets, he was visibly changed. His face shone with the radiant light of God’s love. You are the light Lord, and your light dispels all darkness. When I enter your presence in prayer and break into worship I open my spirit to receive the brightness of your love. You infuse me with the power of your holy spirit and it changes not only my life but also my countenance. The darkness lifts off me and your radiance shines through me. It is easy to tell who has been in your presence because of the peaceful glow that surrounds them. Lord, fill me with your power and presence as I wait upon you. Transform my face that others may see your image reflected through my eyes and in my smile. Let me shine for you Lord so others will sense something different about me and want to know what it is. Then I will share my testimony of transformation with them and tell them I’ve been in the presence of the one true living God. Radiate through me Jesus and touch others with your love. In Jesus name, amen.
