Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, I eagerly receive your word and listen with an open mind to what my teachers share with me. I search the scriptures to validate what I am being taught. You consider this attitude to be noble and encourage me to study your word to show myself approved. If I don’t know your word I have no reference to weather I am being taught truth or error. Your word equips me with discernment as I go through life. Your word is who you are, and as I study it I have a greater picture of your tender heart, your loving kindness, and how to live for your honor. Your word deepens in my every day. Amen.
