Global Prayer on Jeremiah 5:24

Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

Jeremiah 5:24 · KJV

Today’s prayer

Written prayer

Father I feel sorry for those who have no fear of you. They never acknowledge your goodness or your power. You control the elements and bring rain for the crops to grow and harvests to be abundant, yet their hearts are not moved to praise you. How foolish, as well as wicked it is for men to set themselves against the God that keeps the whole order of nature at his own disposal, which he can govern and order as he sees fit. Sin blocks us from receiving the fullness of your blessings. When I see evil men playing in their world of pride and selfishness I wonder when you will hold them accountable for their sins. Even though you are slow to execute judgment I know that in the end they will be dealt with according to your word. Father, I will be forever grateful for all your blessings in my life. I am thankful for opening my eyes and tenderizing my heart to the truth of your great love and compassion for all mankind. Thank you for wooing me with cords of love and bringing me into the shelter of your protective hand of grace over my life. I don’t ever want to be like those who refuse to see and reject your love. I bless your holy name. In Jesus name, amen.
