Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, we all have different positions in your kingdom and different spiritual gifts to accomplish our purposes for you. Some are good in business and are good at making money in the corporate world. They are positioned there to reach those that I can’t. I might work in a non-profit and enjoy hands-on interaction with those in need and find satisfaction with feeding the homeless. Each one of us is called to serve in our own special place and shouldn’t envy or be jealous of others. If I can provide finances to those who are working full time in ministries across the world I will receive a portion of their reward for helping them. Because I provide some of the finances for them to meet the needs of their ministry I am participating in the reward of that ministry or labourer. I am giving to the work of the Lord and you will multiply what I have sown into that ministry. You will increase what I have given and multiply my blessings. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Some have resources to give and others can give of their time, spiritual gifting, and availability. All that is given in the name of the Lord is a gift of love that God will multiply back to us abundantly.
