Today’s prayer
Written prayerStrengthen me lord Jesus, don’t let me grow weary in doing your will. Sometimes it is so difficult to be kind in the face of persecution or rejection. I get angry and want to throw in the towel when all my labors seem to be in vain. I try my best to be of service to others and encourage them in the Lord. They take what they can but don’t seem to change or show any appreciation or gratitude. I get tired of always being the one to give and do the right thing. I know there is a spiritual battle going on over the souls of men and those who you use to reach them. The battle is fierce, and I grow weary and get frustrated. I want to lay down and let someone else take over. I need your grace and perseverance to continue doing good. Forgive me Lord, for the times I grow weary. I am thankful that you have trusted and honored me to be a vessel of your love. Forgive me when I don't feel very loving. I know I am not alone because you are moving through me to reach those you send me to. I will praise you for I know that all that is done as a labour of love to the king of kings will be rewarded in its due season. Thank you father for revealing yourself to me. In Jesus name, amen.
