Today’s prayer
Written prayerThank you, Lord, for settling Israel in the Promised Land and giving them rest. You have given me promises that I continue to contend for in prayer daily. I know when those promises are fulfilled; they will bring rest to my soul and joy to my Spirit. In the meantime, I stand alert and ready to do warfare against the enemy of those promises. I will prayerfully protect them in the Spirit. You are teaching me perseverance, and strengthening me as you draw me deeper into you Spirit, until the day I cross over into my promised land. I look forward to your divine rest when you bring my promises to full manifestation. Amen.
