Today’s prayer
Written prayerOh, Lord, how blind are those who only understand religion and not relationship. You told them who you were and they did not believe you. Everywhere you went you healed the sick and did miracles; validating the truth that God had sent you. Their religious pride prevented them from accepting the truth of who you were. These skeptical religious leaders needed the light of life that shone through you to show them the way out of darkness. Let your light shine on me, lord, that I might never walk in darkness. Keep me close to your heart in a love relationship so I don’t fall into spiritual blindness. Amen.
