Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, your ways are not my ways, and I have a hard time cooperating with you when I don’t understanding what you are doing. No matter how hard I try I can’t figure it out at times. I just have to wait. I have to trust. I have to believe in the wisdom and goodness of your character. As I submit in obedience and watch things play out it isn’t until later that I am able to see how amazingly you accomplished your purposes. All things are under your control and you can and will use the enemy to accomplish your purpose. Christ’s love liberated all of us from the sin of the earth. You are always way ahead of the enemy’s plans and will always turn what he means for evil for my good. As I snuggle close to you in the shelter of your strong tower you will be my defense and protector. I trust your goodness Lord, and believe in the integrity of your character. You are love and all your plans are to do me good and not harm. I love you my savior. In Jesus name, amen.
